I went here on a Saturday at 1 pm. The restaurant seemed empty, it was not what I expected for sure. Id say this place had a very Twin Peaks esq vibe. Dingey diner where everyone seemed to know each other except for my date and I. The owner and his family were there, they seemed like nice people until they had their baby press the button on a singing toy over and over and over and over and over again. I heard the same line "Its a marshmallow world in the winter." At least 15 times while I ate my brunch. It was cute the first 3 times or so. That all being said, the food was good. The service was fast and efficient. Maybe just not my first pick for brunch.

This was the worst experience of my life! The waitress yelled at me for not ordering salsa when I ordered my food, brought me coffee and charged me for it when I didnt ask for it or drink it, and completely got my order wrong! She was so "busy" running around that she could have fixed all of this if she had stopped for two seconds to ask if everything was good. Then when I asked to speak to a manager, there wasnt one around, so I talked to the waitress where she yelled at me again and told me that I should have known how much everything cost because it was all on the menu. I will NEVER go back there, and you should save yourself the headache.

Dirty, overpriced, greasy food. Somehow they managed to mess up coffee. Water and grounds is as easy as it gets. The tables are packed into a small space. The servers are pleasant. The kitchen staff looks like they just broke out of prison. When I can see into the kitchen I want to see hairnets and gloves and clean uniforms. What I did see was scrubby facial hair. All lack of gloves or hairnets and greasy aprons over dirty stretched out t shirts. This restaurant is beyond repair. Nuke the site from orbit its the only way to be sure...

The amount of food you get for the price is hit or miss. The food itself is pre-packed/made from frozen or a bag and it shows. Theres nothing that sets this place apart. Eggs arent made correctly(over medium is not that difficult), coffee is truck stop quality, gravy from a bag, just all around basic cheap fare. You can get the same quality of food at Waffle House down the street and its a few bucks less. It also wont be undercooked like both the hashbrowns and home fries tend to be. Not impressed. Will not be back.

Over priced. Home fries were under cooked on the inside and over cooked on outside. Omlet was OK, but I watched it sit in the pass through while the waitress walked by it several times. Wait staff, and the everyone working there lol d like they were moving in slow motion. Very surreal. I have never recommended waffle house in my life, but its across National, and you should go there if you have to eat breakfast in the immediate area. Pretty sad that waffle house is better

This is my new breakfast place! I was kind of in a bad mood when me and my family arrived. But as soon as I entered my morning changed! The atmosphere was really cute and inviting. It was very clean (even the high chair!). The people were my favorite part! Super attentive and friendly! I never give reviews, but this place really made my day! Also I should mention the food was fantastic! Im so glad I overlooked the reviews and tried this place for myself! Fantastic!

This place is always busy. I finally managed to get there early enough to where I didnt have to fight people. Usually I always look at the menu a place had on their website, so I know what I want. Its completely different from what they give you in the restaurant. The food is somewhat bland, and its 2.49 for a "large" glass of poured Hiland orange juice (no free refills). The place is really not worth going back to again.

We go there often for breakfast, and its always good. Thy have good thick bacon, good coffee (not weak like a lot of breakfast diners make it so that it will stretch), and their homemade toast is great. Biscuits and gravy werent terrible, but definitely not the best thing in their menu. Pancakes are good. Great prices. Wait staff do a great job! All around good diner.

Not trying to sou.d sensationalist but this is truly my Favorite breakfast place ever. Always busy but a lot of seating and the food is always fast, crash and hot. The only place that has the Hillbilly Benedict. Back east I would have to reset it separate and assemble it myself. Im in heaven! My wife loves the bacon and short stack, cold butter.

Had the worst experience this morning, my husband and I ordered our food (eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes and toast) and didnt get it for almost 45 minutes. Everyone that was around us sat down after we ordered and they all had gotten their food, ate and left before we had even taken our first bite!! Never been more disappointed in a service!

Never had a bad meal there. Best breakfast in springfield by far! Fast service and the owners are beyond wonderful. They make sure that you have a great experience at Scramblers. You can tell that they really take pride in their business. Love the staff and the new decor! Definitely try the Shawns Skillet-- it is the best : )

A great family owned restaurant, they serve breakfast and lunch. The food is always fresh and delicious. To top it off great device and a comfortable atmosphere make this a great breakfast location. Try them out if you love good breakfast and lunch food.

Food is always great and cheap. Recent changes in the staff have made a huge improvement. Remodel really gave the place an up to date clean look and you can tell that the owners really pour their heart and soul into making every customer happy.

All eggs were way undercooked. French toast raisin bread was too burnt to eat. So not understand why they cannot substitute meat out for another egg or something. Service was all right, but could have been better.

The owner was very personable and nice to us! Thank you for making our day! We have a daughter who has special needs and she became agitated. Bill made her feel welcome and special. We will be back!

Service was good, but ones comes with expectations for breakfast. Hash browns served were visibly burnt to a crisp. Eggs were so greasy, well, hope there are betters days for this establishment.

The hostess was a jerk when I walked in. The place looks a little frazzled, some of the staff a little harried. I didnt like the vibe, so I crossed the street and ate at waffle house.

We ate breakfast here on our weekend trip to Springfield. The coffee was so stout neither of us finished 1 cup. $23 for 2 cups of coffee and 2 breakfasts that were at best decent.

Servers werent very friendly, and they werent busy. Ive been eager to try it out. Eggs Benedict are my favorite, it was chalky. In my opinion, not worth the $18.
