I went to the diner for the first time after I found my usual haunt was closed. The staff was super friendly. The main lobby/dining area was very tidy and compact. It would be hard to have a quiet conversation, unless you were to whisper right up close. I ordered a breakfast platter that included 2 eggs, I had then scrambled), hash browns (real potatoes, not that unnaturally colored and textured stuff youll find at some joint, no names being mentioned of course), my choice of meat and finally 2 small pancakes, at least normally they were small. She gave me full sized ones. It was a really good breakfast overall.

Conservatory Ozarks

Friendly, helpful staff. I had a few little complaints -- there was an ant crawling across my table...but that can happen as an isolated little incident even when a place is clean. I ordered banana pudding -- the waitress gave us an extra piece because she said she needed to get rid of it -- so it was nice of her to give us the extra piece. But the piece I got was clearly past its prime which was a little gross. The turkey bacon swiss was on special and it was so delicious and well prepared. The bacon was thick and crispy, the turkey and bun was grilled. Cute, old timey ambiance. Great prices!

Its typical diner food. The draw of the place is really the connection to Route 66. Small place, diner-eque seating, including counter seats. Everything is very close together. Good "down home" food. Service was friendly. Very busy when we went for lunch.

I love this place, I have not been there in years and decided to walk in and grab breakfast yesterday morning. Always clean, with great service. The biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon is the best ever!

I work at VME right behind the cafe and their daily specials are so good. I had the chili cheese fries today and they are soooo good. Big portions affordable prices, great food!
