I heard great things about Fire & Ice and wanted to LOVE it. But, I just cant. I like it and will go back. But its good, not great. ATOMOSPHERE - Great decor and concept. The TVs surrounding the room were out of place. This isnt a sports bar. They just dont fit and were distracting. DRESS - Anything goes. Remember, youre in a hotel in the Ozarks. We saw everything from baseball caps and flip flops to dresses and slacks. PRICE - We spent a total of about $60 for two and did not get appetizers, desserts or alcoholic beverages. MENU - Small menu, but thats ok. They do what they do well and keep it focused. Drink menu is thorough. I didnt get to see the dessert menu because the waitress didnt offer and there wasnt one on the table. FOOD - This is real food prepared fresh in the kitchen. It doesnt come from a can, a box or a freezer. These chefs are skilled and know how to cook. The Ribeye was cooked perfectly and over a bed of innovatively sauteed veggies. Very unique. The beef tips were a bit overcooked (its hard to cook beeftips perfectly) but also on a bed of delicious and unique potatoes and vegetables. PORTION - Again, remember youre in the Ozarks, therefore portions were very large in my opinion. Enough for left overs for lunch the next day. SERVICE - Nice staff, but not overly hospitable like most restaurants in the area. Our waitress was ok. But took away the drink menu without asking before we had a chance to make a decision, so we didnt order drinks. No complaints, just nothing great to say about the service either.

We have come here for special occasions through the years and have noticed food quality has decreased while prices have increased. We really want to like this place but the overall experience the last few times has been "so so". Service is usually fine, but taste has not aligned to the price of the meal in my opinion. Also, everyone used to get tasty rolls and several types of butter. Now, you have to ask the server for the rolls. If prices were lower I would rate it 5 stars.

The sweat tea was tasty, other than that I was pretty disappointed. The Salmon was crusted in salt which killed the flavor of the pomegranate glaze. The rice was bland. The asparagus was actually the best part of the meal. My wifes chicken tikka was dry. The purple coconut rice was tasteless mush. They did give us a whopping 10% discount for the inconvenience of their cooking. Personal opinion overpriced and underwhelming is how I would describe Fire and Ice.

My husband and I have been to F&I multiple times and neither of us have EVER ordered anything we didnt like - it is always good. Good appetizers, a unique custom (usually seasonal) flavored butter to go with hot rolls, great meals (steaks, chicken, pasta, fish), and good desserts! If you want a GREAT meal on the North side of Springfield - I recommend it!

Service is great and food in fantastic! I ordered the fire and ice filet on Sunday and it looked so incredible I forgot to take a photo before i started devouring this burger! My bartender Joey was amazing he was super busy, but was able to juggle my drink order, take my food order, and even gave me extra pickles!

This is a great place! Love Bryan, he was our only waiter from day one. Funny, Attentive and all around true to his calling. ;) Hes awesome. Food is great, its in the Hotel itself through the lobby and off the street so very nice. The only thing missing here is to have live music on weekends for dancing.

Get the Sesame Tuna. The steaks are good but with your steak add in Tuna. 3 awesome draft beers and you are in Heaven. The kitchen is more then open air and the bar fully stocked. The staff is friendly and attentive. I can honestly say every body has beef great and more so flawless.

Food and prices have been on an inverse trend. Food quality has declined and prices have gone up. If you are on the northside of Springfield and need a nice place with a more modern atmosphere with a sports bar without any banners and jerseys on the wall this place will work.

The food is good. Great selection of microbrewery. Love the ice "track" on the bar. Its neat but really doesnt serve any purpose- certainly doesnt keep your drink cool. Moved to a table and wait staff were frankly not timely in bringing a menu and starting table service.

We really enjoy eating here when we come to Springfield. The food and waitstaff are awesome!!!! Order the ribeye and lobster tail. We always order this and its been amazing every time. Last night I changed it up and got 2 lobster tails instead. Still amazing!!!!

Rude male server. Asked for a drink twice cause i couldnt get my swrver to request a refill and he rudly replied. Ur server can help u when shes available. And walked away. My drink has been dry for 20 minutes.

Excellent food and service. I must admit when I saw the menu with no prices, my first thought was...... "This cant be good!" The prices were not outrageous. But the food was! Will definitely be back.

Order and the order taker was not courtious. Place was packed and waited 12 minutes before I was attended at the front desk. Ordered a pepperoni pizza, got back a cheese pizza...not impressed.

Waitresses billed me for 120 on my debit card on a 45 dollar ticket. Ticket still said 45 when I got it back it was my bank statement that said 120. So be careful how you spend here.

Some of the best hotel food you can get. Good selection on the menu and they typically get it to you fairly quick. Sits right off of the indoor pool, so has kind of a neat atmosphere.

Sat at the bar for15 min, bar tender keep walking back in forth talking to this one person at the end of the bar never even asking me what I wanted, this was on 5-14 mothers day
