The food is fresh and hot but the facility itself is very dirty. It doesnt look like anyone ever cleans the place. The wall next to the booth we sat at looked like the floor mat of a dishwasher at the end of a busy shift (nasty). The staff is relatively unfriendly and they seem annoyed to have customers more than anything. We were looked at and walked by at least five times (by staff) before any of them found the time to finally seat us. Some of the food is good and a some of it is bland. And some of it doesnt taste anything like the dish its named after. Stay away from the bourbon and teriyaki chicken unless you like chewing on gristle. On a side note, the place is hopping. There were a lot of customers in and out in the short amount of time that we were there. But Im more of a quality over quantity type of guy myself.

I was treated like a criminal. My family and I always use to love going here, until I had gastric bypass surgery. The first time we went back, they agreed to let me get the child sized buffet because of my surgery and I could only eat up to a cup of food period. The next time we went back it was on the weekend and said I could get the same deal as before no problem. We all went in and was treated like I was there to steal all of the crab and only pay the childs price. I was so upset that we went somewhere else that was more than happy to take our money and never even had a second thought about my special diet needs. And by the way, nobody even wanted the crab, it was just there because we were there on that day.

My family and my sons family LOVE Asian King. We go when they are busy so fresh food is always being brought out. We have dined there since the opening and it is always flavorful, fresh and good. The owners are very nice and will bend over backwards to be sure you are happy. The sushi is made fresh. They only keep a little out at a time. There are many Asian buffets in Springfield. Many are very bland. Asian Kings are flavorful. Friday and Saturday they have crab legs. So good! PS- I enjoy the relaxing elevator music in the background.

Food was fresh and hot. Even though the place was swamped with people, the polite servers sat us within 5 minutes, and were good to refill our drinks (even though they were just waters). The wall was a bit dirty, but the facilities that were supposed to have food were clean, hot, and fresh. Their sushi bar was actively filled with an on-site chef, who did a marvelous job. The overall selection is a bit small. Its a bit pricey, but worth it. Its location makes it a prime location. Definitely coming back.

The food is fine, the location is convenient, and the staff is friendly enough. The atmosphere is typical Chinese buffet and restaurant, and the buffet food is on par with other Chinese buffets, and the prices are fair. They do offer sushi on their buffet and it is edible but not great. And the noise level can be pretty high, and seating isnt super comfortable. Ill eat here again as it isnt bad, but it isnt the most enjoyable Chinese restaurant either.

Good service, nice people and all but this place is disgustingly dirty. From the floor to the ceiling and all the walls, windows booths and tables need a good cleaning. I looked at the wall beside the booth we were in and instantly lost my appetite. This place is consistently busy and has been for years. They need to put back some $$$ into their restaurant if they expect to continue much longer.

I hate to say this, but this was the worst Chinese food we (my family) have ever eaten. Very hard to believe by the amount if people that were dining there. Very busy place. We love Chinese restaurants & go often. Again, worst one yet. If youre passing through Springfield, like we were, please keep driving. Thats why Im posting this review, in hopes of saving someone $$$ on this nasty food.

The food was horrible, the restaurant was not clean and was very unacceptable. I dont understand why they wont pull up that filthy carpet and have some tile, hardwood or laminate flooring installed. I have no idea what I was eating and was definitely not what was labeled. Overall I was very disappointed, because my family and I was looking forward to eating there..

Theyre just average, normal plates of standard Chinese American criteria. Nothing new and not much to speak of. Service is nice and they have plenty of room for any size part. To all those that say they have great sushi however... have not tasted legitimate sushi. All things aside, come enjoy a quick and cheap place to east!

Unsanitary employees. Watched them wrap their silverware, they would grab them with bare hands by the part you put in your mouth then wrap them in napkin. All the while the employee was taking money and credit cards from guest touching other stuff and not washing her hands or put on gloves, then return to wrap silverware.

The food here is decent and tastes a little better than other Chinese buffets in Springfield. The hibachi is always too salty as the people working there dont seem to be actual chefs. The price is not too bad either. If the buffet could expand their choices while keeping the same quality, they would be my instant favorite.

Good food....we especially love the Sushi and wontons. General Chicken needs the General Chicken appeal of green peppers and spices. Good variety of entrees to choose from. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Asian King Buffet has always been a favorite of mine and you can bet Ill keep coming back!

Love the food not much different than other Asian buffets, but a well size selection of food with Mongolian grill. Staff is great really nice and courteous. Clean typical Asian restaurant environment. Disclaimer: Dont give five stars unless restaurant goes above and beyond what is expected.

Got there an hour before close and there were empty trays everywhere. I was really look o forward to eating here but there was hardly any food left. The only reason why Im giving them 2 stars is because there pork kabobs were amazing good outside texture and the end side was nice and juicy

LOVE this place! Very clean and nice. Food is ALWAYS tasty and usually filled and not a bunch of empty pans. Come during the week before 3:30 and eat until full for $7.29! What a deal! Oh and I have tried Crab Rangoons all over Springfield and there is NO MATCH. These are supreme!

4 stars because I was only here once and for a short period of time (time limit). The Mongolian grill they have here is the best out of any others in town. I cant say anything on the actual buffet portion because I only had the Mongolian grill. Give it a try! Its worth it!

Just ate at the new location on Glenstone Ave. Its decently priced, the chicken was tender, and the rice was cooked to perfection. Great customer service, and youre greeted at the counter with a smile. Free soup and salad bar too, with the purchase of every combo meal.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Waited 30 minutes for rice when we arrived. And dont plan on getting any crab legs unless you stand in a 45 minute line at the buffet. I used to like this place. Now, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Definitely not worth the price!!!
