This was our first time comming to Glace. We were excited to try new flavors. We asked to sample a couple of flavors but the attendent seemed annoyed by the request. We made a decision, and the attendent scooped the ice cream from the side of the pan where it had fallen out, and put it in my daughters cup. Now they dont wear gloves and I imagine their hands had been all over the rim of the pan and thats the ice cream you chose to give my child. The scraps that had fallen out of the pan.... for what its worth the two samples, the cherry, and the cream cheese were tasty, but your service sucks.....

Unpleasant experience tonight at Glace. We arrived at 9:45. Their posted closing hours are 10 PM. The door was unlocked. We entered and one of the employees approached us and said "Sorry guys, were closing" and pointed to the last group of people they would serve (the group ahead of us). We left without making a fuss, and watched another person walk in shortly after without being turned away. If youre not going to serve customers, lock the damn door. Its unclear why customers would be turned away 15 minutes prior to the listed closing time either. Very uncool.

Awful service. There were two employees at the Leawood location--one of them managed to nearly hit me in the face as he lifted the ice cream case to change an ice cream label or something. Both employees ignored waiting customers for several minutes as they laughed at some private joke. We eventually got tired of waiting and left. I couldnt imagine a worse experience: Ive had some bad ice cream before, and Ive been ignored by rude employees before, but Ive never been borderline assaulted by an ice cream vendor. Theres a first time for everything, I guess.

Christopher Elbows chocolate empire has a wonderful side business in ice cream and sorbet. With the unusual flavors that always cause me to sample ten times as many ice creams as I buy, Im sure Im not welcomed by the customers behind me. But the flavors....avocado, lychee, pineapple cilantro, multiple styles of chocolate,, goat cheese and wildflowers, and a popular sweet corn besides lots of temporary flavors that keep you coming back in for another ten samples. My favorite frozen flavor mecca in Kansas City.

Glace This place is amazing!!! I sometimes worry with "artisan" ice creams that they get too carried away with doing unique flavors and forget to simply make delicious ice cream. But this place does it right! Lots of interesting flavors to choose from and theyre so creamy and smooth! My husband and I tried numerous flavors! My favorites were Chai Tea, Dark Chocolate Orange and Broadway Coffee. His were Indonesian Cinnamon and Peanut Butter Chocolate Flake. Check this place out!!

Even the vanilla is truly great. Remarkable ice cream with a focus on quality ingredients. Very European feel, with the high level of creaminess and the wide variety of fun flavors. Service was great, with staff not begrudging our group a bunch of samples. Prices are super reasonable, and portions are good. Also theyre open until fairly late, unlike most of the other area dessert places! Cant wait to go back.

Omg delicious ice cream. Ive been here twice and the flavors are always changing. They have very unique and Artesian blends. Rosemary in ice cream? Yes they have it and its tasty. Carrot cake ice cream? Yep. Moroccan mint and honey? You guessed it. And the dark chocolate was outstanding. They let you taste a few, then 2 scoops or 3 scoops or take home a pint. I will be back. You should go.

This place is always, always awesome. Their service is excellent and they change up their ice cream flavors regularly. Ive had a Lavender that was divine, Chai Tea that was spot-on and a multitude of other samples that almost always please me. They did have a Mint Julep sorbet that wasnt to my liking, but points for originality! If you want ice cream, and youre not worried about the cost, go here.

If you are looking for a upscale more adult ice cream shop then this is it. Small interior not much room for seating couple of tables outdoors. Unique flavors & pricey. Staff is good. Had a girl that seemed like she wasn’t to thrilled to be there? If you are going to run an establishment like this, your helpers really make the difference. Need to be upbeat & positive to everyone.

"Delightful variety" Went in evening Delightful ice cream, with non-dairy options available. Variety of flavors available, with notable differences between flavors. Sampling available. Seating limited. Slow service - only one person working the store, was not rushing people even as a line was forming out the door. Everyone was amiable, though, and no real frustration felt.

This ice cream has super high butter fat content, making it super creamy at first bite... After that youre going to need a drink of water stat. I applaud Glace on their awesome selection of flavors. They have some of the best and most creative in town. However the ice cream is extremely dense and I cannot eat more than one scoop. Its worth a visit if you love good ice cream.

Not sure ill ever be able to settle with a root beer float without salty pretzel ice cream from Glace. Wife had roasted strawberry and some other difficult to name flavor, but I get a sense that no matter what you order here it will be the best you have had. Staff very friendly and a small walk from Stock Hill for some dessert after dinner.

This is definitely worth a try and you will likely keep coming back. They have unique flavors of deliciously creamy ice cream and switch them out so theres always something new to try. Theyll let you try something before you get a dish of it, so go ahead and experiment cause even some of the flavors that sound weird are really good.

You must go to this place if you have any remote like for ice cream. Everything is hand crafted and the flavors are precise. I had the carmel and salted pretzel. It was possibly the most flavorful and balanced ice cream I have ever had. This place is a true artisan creamery and it is well worth the visit...and the price.

Were visiting from STL and goggled "ice cream near me." We picked Glacé from the reviews and it was impressive! Together we tasted about 6 before ordering (very patient and helpful staff) then ordered: bananas Foster, elbow dark chocolate, pts roasting co, cream cheese and the caramel flavor. All very delicious!!

I dont know who was working the day any of the bad customer service reviews were given but that certainly wasnt the case when I visited today. I got to try all the flavors I wanted with a friendly smile and the ice cream was great. Decided on malted milk chocolate and salted caramel in a waffle cone was amazing!

Great place. Sensible portions served, curteous staff, quality ingedients, minimalist yet classy presentation/packaging. If I am looking for ice cream in any way shape or form Ill be here. Only room for improvement is the size of the place. A little more seating or standing room wouldnt hurt.

If you havent tried Glacé, you havent lived! They have the standby flavors plus delicious unusual ones. I think the last time I went I got a scoop of dark chocolate and a scoop of lavender. Fantastic. (Plus, the employees are all super nice, and they let you taste flavors before you choose.)
