I dont understand what all the hoopla is about. I ordered the small order of wings with the basic bbq sauce and onion rings. The wings were very small. Being a cook myself, I could tell the wings had not been seasoned or marinated in anyway prior to being fried. No tenderness at all, just tough meat u have to rip off the bone with your teeth. No meat flavor at all! Thas all they are is plain fried wings coated in sauce. The bbq sauce had such an unpleasant texture, gooey, glommy thick mucosy texture. There was hardly any meat on the bones and the bones were dry which meant they were very over cooked. onion rings were made from frozen, greasy and fell apart. Terrible. There is no service whatsoever. U get your own silverware and soda pop . U have to wait in line to order at the counter which is next to the line u wait in to get your soda pop from a pop machine, making it all crowded at the counter and all the while your food gets cold at the table when u wana refill your pop. The only service is bringing you the food and its not on a plate either. Its all plastic burger joint style baskets. I dont like bouncing around inside restaurants that behave like a fast food chain..self-service. In a restaurant? Really, and a restaurant association of the year winner? A joke. Give the award to mcdonalds. Best place to eat in joplin...NOT! I will be making my own awesome wings at home. For a bbq joint I expected fantastic juicy flavorful wings. Not here. Frozen bagged grocery store wings are great next to this mess at hacketts. Go elsewhere cause theres plenty better.

I was looking for good chicken wings and I think this place might have originally started out as maybe a decent place to eat but theyve lost focus on the name of the business , hot wings, tiny chicken pieces possibly cooked while frozen, never was okay I dont know I just think theyve lost track of what it takes to have good food, not buy the cheapest frozen Wings they can find. I placed a to-go order so I cant elaborate on anything else about the location except they need to not buy the cheapest tiny Wings they can find, their flavoring was acceptable I had the hot honey which was said the most popular flavor and was acceptable in taste just the chicken was tiny and frozen to long before cooking and may have been cooked while still frozen unacceptable.

Servie is horrible. Everytime I have been here there is.an issue with service. Last time our food sit at the counter while we drank 2 beers. Whrn we asked if it was ours and expressed our irritation with our food being cold the waitress said.well its not his fault (i think its her son) he didnt know. Then she offered to warm our food in the microwave.. well maaam. We never said it was his fault but it is your business fault and no. i dont want my food reheated in a microwave. It was unbelievable the rudeness they display to their customers. And their booths were dirty and sticky. Its a shame. They have good wings and spices. Not worth the treatment though. I havent returned since that happened and I wont.

The server was polite, well mannered and provided pleasant service. I ordered the "Burger in a bowl" and fried mushrooms as an appetizer. The mushrooms came out first and while they were warm enough to be eadible, they obviously sat in the window for a time as they no where close to the temp that would indicate "freshly cooked. The burger in a bowl was a disappointment as well. It was described as a loaded burger covered with loaded French fries and served in a bowl. The burger was obviously a frozen hamburger patty between 2 slices of bread covered with French fries the were smothered in bacon bits onions jalapeno etc, on top of nacho cheese fresh out of a can...mmmmm, not...

I ate here two days in a row because the wings are so damn good! I HIGHLY recommend the lemon pepper wings. If your a fan of HOT HOT wings, I would say their suicide is a little on the lighter side of hot. I do not know exactly where they get their wings from, but they are all the same size, natural and uniform. Not this huge freak show wings you see at the wing chain stores. I docked this place 1 star as the wait staff is very unfriendly, and on both occasions I noticed the waitress watching TV rather than watching tables. The bus boy looks sad and depressing like he hates his job, and kinda hangs out in the sports area waiting for tables. Food great, service bad.

Absolutely terrible customer service. The food may be good, and has been since they first opened at their first location but it isnt worth having to endure terrible customer service and wait AN HOUR to get any food. As much as I like the food I wont be returning any time soon as today was the last straw for me. The is quite disappointing as I have been a loyal customer from the beginning. Get better servers Hackett family or you will be losing your business. Many people have complained to me and said they wont eat here because of it and now I too am one of those people.

My food was good but my son food was dry and when I told the waitress about some black lady from the register said she was not goingbto replace it the accused us os saying we wear not going to pay the bill next thing I know am soured by every guy staff member their was I beleave the cashier need to learn about customer service before returning back to work thwir cause she has no clue how a much of a racist attitudes she has iam a manger a t a restaurant and I grunted my staff would not act like or have a job left

One of my favorite places in Joplin. I cant even say I am a big fan of wings, but this is one of my top 5 places in Joplin to eat. It has even become a tradition that this is where we go to eat on my birthday. My favorite part about it is they have a nice selection of dry rub as well as traditional bar-b-ques. I prefer dry rubs. Their greek has a great flavor and their jerk has a unique flavor with a little bit of a kick. My wife likes the hot-n-honey.

Simple split, hi top table sports bar area with multiple tvs,and 2 more dining room set ups. Have yet to be disappointed by the food, i, personally am addicted to the beer wings. More or less, they take their medium sauce and add coors light with it. Different flavor, but delicious. Servers are always on their toes to give you the best possible experience. If youre tired of your mainstream wings, come see Floyd and his group!

Horrible service. I was told by the black lady at the register I would be charged for water because they could not trust me to not get soda since my two guests ordered soda. We sat close to the front and overheard the next group order (who where colored) one ordered water and was not charged. The food was decent, 3 stars if not for the obvious segregated pricing. If your going to charge for water fine, charge everyone.
