Let me begin that we are FREQUENT customers, and have been for the 8 years Ive lived in olive branch, the last 3 times have been terrible! I dont know if they have new management or what, but we got sick the last time, Im talking 5-10 minutes after we ate my boyfriend and I spent the rest of the night in the bathroom. Ordered tonight(to-go), VERY SQUEEMISHLY, but its been our favorite for so long. First we were sent home with someone elses food, no big deal I returned their food and actually ran into the guy who got ours.. of course we both wanted NEW FOOD, got home 2nd time. .. they scorched the crab on top of my volcano roll, which to me days they reheated it!!! I hope they see this review and are more careful... Id hate to see this restaurant be ran in to the ground.

Please dont go off the menu from this website. They have updated the menus in the last year. Also I have learned if you come in between 4-6 pm on either the Regular or Hibachi side you can get specials but any later they stop, only on Monday - Thursday. In the morning they have a sushi half roll lunch special, Monday - Friday mornings. Theyre open Monday -Sunday. Monday -Friday morning, 11 am -2:30pm night 4:30pm -9:30pm Friday night close at 10 pm. Saturday, they dont open until 4:30pm - 10 pm. Sunday morning 11:30am-2:30pm night 4:30pm - 9:30pm. But stop taking any kind of orders 20 minutes before they close. Same goes for the togo. The food is always good, I get the Florida roll and Hawaiian rice. But the service is always so bad! I usually place my order to go and have to call at least 3 times to get someone to order, and when they do its usually very rude as if theyre annoyed that Im calling. Also for a place where I pay $15 or more for my meal alone I expect for them to dress in something other than leggings, a tee shirt, and some sneakers.

Rolls not tightly rolled, rice too soggy, rolls cut too large, not a good sushi. Fish was fresh at least. Tofu was also undercooked and fell apart. Fried rice vegetables undercooked. Servers very nice. Sushi is a good price considering their portions are huge, hence rolls falling apart before you eat them. Decent but needs some work.

Terrible sushi! When I first moved to olive branch they were ok but now the food is terrible service is slow, soup was awful salad was drowned in dressing. I was at the bar and the cashier was constantly complaining and cursing. But the red headed bartender was nice! I want be back. Try SPR on poplar ave. in Memphis.

I love japanese food but, this was my 1st and last visit here. The salmon was overcooked and the veggies tasted fishy and salty. My friend ordered the chicken and veggie kabobs and there were only about 5 pieces of chicken. The highlight of the meal was the clear soup. Not worth the $.

Food was ok, poor service. Left my to go box on the table and I went back in to retrieve it before I even got into my car parked in front of restaurant and was told bus boy dumped it. Manager very disrespectible, will not be going to this location again!! Would not even give a one star...

I tried sushi here for the first time and i liked it. But the wasabi they served with it was awfully bad in taste. I almost died after eating it. But Im glad they have a vegetarian sushi on their menu which many restaurants dont. Their menu is quite extensive. The ambience is great.

Sorry to say that was the worst hibachi experience Ive ever had. The rice, veggies, and meat had very little flavor. The salad had a very strange tasting ginger sauce. A lot less food compared to other hibachi style grills for the same price. Very poor service. Food was lukewarm.

Charged me different price for sushi than listed in printed menu. Manager would not correct the bill. It was only $1.50! I promise to never return. The food was average. I might try the sushi at Kroger next time. It looks about the same and maybe larger portions.

We ordered four sushi rolls when we sat down. The chef cooked everyones food and we had time to eat all of it and we still had to wait for our sushi. The food is good but the waitime shouldnt have been that long on a slow day
