My husband and I saw The Dock from a boat launch across the lake and decided we needed to give it a try. We went there on a Saturday night around 5pm. While waiting to be seated we saw a waiter come out to the Host stand three different times carrying the same salads like he didnt know what to do with them. We were finally seated but when no one waited on us we stopped two different waiters/waitresses questioning could we get a couple beers. Finally the second one indicated with a scowl on her face that she would get us a couple but she wasnt our waitress. We waited for the beers when a guy came to the table explaining he just got to work (now 5:20) and guessed he had our table. We ordered two beers, wings, and nachos. The beers came. We drank them and was looking to order a couple more - still no food. But couldnt find the waiter. After another wait the waiter returned with our food which was good but cold. We got two more beers. We hadnt even finished eating when our waiter gave us our bill. No question if we were done or wanted anything more. Music was playing and we could have stayed another hour or so but left due to service. The concept and the food was fine, the delivery of cold food was not, and the wait staff needs to be over hauled.

We came in at 1 on a Saturday to get lunch. We ordered the crawfish with beer for me and my inlaws. My wife ordered fried catfish. We waited 10 minutes for my beers. My wifes plate came. No crawfish at this point. My mother in law and I ordered two specialty drinks. 5 minutes later they came. Still no crawfish. It took my wife 10 minutes to eat her food. Still no cawfish. Waitress came and said it would be 15 minutes ad she would have them right out. Waited 10 more minutes, and decided to tell the waitress to forget the crawfish and just give me my check. They comped us the specialty drinks, and didnt charge us for the beers. We sat and finished the beers for another 10 minutes, and the table beside us, who walked in 30 minutes after us, got their crawfish. Called the manager and he had nothing but excuses. Drove all the way from Mobile for disappointment. I hope you stay in business 100 years, but youll never get mine. -Ronnie

Went for lunch. There wasnt very many people there, maybe 2 other tables. We were seated promptly and ended up waiting about 15 minutes for a waiter or waitress to come get our drink order. No one ever showed up so we got up and walked out. As we walked out, 4 employees were standing around the hostess podium talking. We said we were leaving because no one ever showed up to get a drink order. They simply asked where we were seating when the hostess who sat us spoke up and told the others. One who I assumed was the manager, who didnt seem to care. So if you want to just go sit and check out the view, great place but dont plan on eating or drinking anything for a while!

Things have improved at the Dock in recent months, and we have found it an enjoyable place to stop for a drink and an occasional appetizer. The bar staff we have encountered are friendly and efficient, and they have toned down the previously deafening music. They offer an interesting selection of local beers and are willing to give samples. The only negative to us is that at times there are children running around unsupervised, but that is more the fault of the parents than the Dock staff. I realize this business boasts a family friendly atmosphere, but in consideration of all patrons it would be nice if this could be curbed somehow....

Will not be coming back waited way to long for Serivce and Food, People who came in AFTER us were served and left before us!! Courtney was Rude acted like She had better things to do than answer any questions or offer any Help. Were out of 2 different items we ordered. Waste of Our Time and Money!! As we were leaving noticed the offered boiled Crawfish which is My Husband favorite thing to eat But apparently they forgot to put that on there Menu!!!!

Spectacular facilities including indoor dining, outdoor dining, a stage area, and a scenic view of the lake. The menu could use a bit of courage and creativity. The service is usually good but occasionally underwhelming. And the food has good days and bad. If The Dock were consistently awesome, it would likely be a major attraction. For super casual adventures, it is worth the visit. For serious eating or events, it might be questionable.

Excellent service....great food and well seasoned ! Only problems was.....noodles slighty under cooked but still a good dish (shrimp and crawfish pasta) and the salad came out with the entree....however....the manager did come around to all tables and ask if everything was ok....so i had chance to correct any problems !! I will be back and have no reservations of eating here again !!!

A fun place to go with friends or anyone, where you can still smoke in a bar! ✌They have some inedible talent that plays there, especially in the Summer Time.. Saw Brett Michaels and MET HIM TOO, Rosco Bandana has played there and even my SON played with his band, Septembers End when he was a student at the RockU2 Academy of Music. Great atmosphere and good food. Love it!

We sat at the outside bar and I only are Fried Green tomatoes (first for me) and they were served with a crab and shrimp dip and were absolutely delicious. The hightlight of the night though was the waitress. Complete ball buster but in good spirit. I would recommend the place just on her alone. She made the dining experience one of the more memorable ones Ive ever had

Have not been here in a while. I was quickly reminded why I liked it. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The only reason Im getting four stars is the low quality on the Crawfish. Not only were they cold but they were small. And the spice was on the outside. Like they sprinkled spices on the shells should come up and served them. Other than that everything is great

It took entirely way too long to do everything! Yes we had a larger party, a party of 10 but still. Thirty minutes wait for drinks, an hour wait for food that wasnt even good, cold fries and everything and now waiting almost an hour just for our tickets to come back to us. First and last time coming here.

Foods usually pretty good. Drinks have been hit or miss. Popular beers sellout, their punch bowls seem to always be out. Docking is ample and never been an issue. They have cornhole and live music indoors and outdoors. I have been there like 4 times and tacos are good their posts boy was Meh.

The food was horrible and cold the server was rude. The guy when we enter was like "omg" because we had a group. We literally got there at 6 and sat and waited till right before they closed to get our food. It was just all around horrible experience!!!!

I love the outdoor area. The inside leaves a lot to be desired. We have eaten here a few times but the last couple of times our order was messed up and no one offered to fix it. The food is okay. We go most of the time for the atmosphere.
