Especially for hotel guests, but open to the public for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks, its lesser-known than popular nearby sports taverns--usually only crowded on sports-event-nights when a simplified menu speeds service. But the Parmesan-crusted grilled-cheese sandwich, soups of the day, especially the chili on event-nights, and the salted-caramel ice-cream draw me back whenever Im in town. The breakfast buffet includes made-to-order eggs and omelets.

The only complaint I have about the place is that the management/ownership at the hotel/restaurant is terrible. The workers are nice and do their best but the management is atrocious.

Kind of a secret since its inside the Doubletree Hotel, but the food and staff are great. Its a great place to go, espeically before any game or event at the Kohl Center.

The local beers are terrific. The BLT wrap and Buffalo Chicken sandwich are very good.
