Rubbish. When the waitress returned to check on me and my son, she said, "Was it not what you expected?" I laughed and said, "Dont worry, its okay." Because I knew when she was moping over with the food that it was going to be garbage. And let me tell you this server was apathetic and dejected like she was about to serve my sons left foot and my dogs left ear for breakfast. The meal looked like that, too. Perhaps it was only the hueveos rancheros, but it was a sloppy mess, no telling what was what, what was beans or eggs or cheese or mushy corn tortillas. This place is a dark dungeon with no spirit, and worse, the cooks dont care about the customer--no passion. They just throw food into the window as fast as they can with no standard. And I mean NO STANDARD. When the waitress asked me about my expectations, I realized that maybe I should have lowered them down to a cook dishing food out of a bathroom in El Paso. How low do my expectations need to be for your restaurant? She charged me for the meal. It was my mistake for considering this place. But she didnt even ask if I wanted it off the check, only further solidifying that people often hate the food at the Woodbury Cafe. Good luck.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn for 5 days and discovered this the second morning. Ate there every day because they had so much variety and the hash browns were the best ever. Never had hash browns so light and still with crispy edges. There was something totally unique to try everyday. Was surprised they did not have a perfect 5 score when I looked at their reviews on Google because if they dont deserve a 5 who does? Saw definite trolls who had not eaten there or work for the competition. I had a number 3 twice and both time, my eggs were light and fluffy, 3 pieces of thick long bacon, Texas cut whole wheat toast and those beautiful hash browns. Again, definitely a 5 which I could post a photo here of my breakfast so you know I am telling the truth. I will upload a photo though so you can see it for youself.

This is our favorite breakfast place, and not just for breakfast! The hours arent the best but if you can get there before 3pm.......Its unfortunate they arent open longer! They get busy and the service gets slower at those times so if you can go a little off rush its really a nice place to go for breakfast and lunch. Prices are pretty good and if you sign up for email you can get some good freebies. Food is fast, good and hot. Coffee not so much. Muffins really really good as are their sweet rolls. We enjoy the food so much!

I have tried breakfast here a couple times over two years and have regretted it. My last visit was the worst. Tiny, overcooked Bacon strips, bland eggs and just awful, cold pancakes. To top it off, the service sucked. No smiles, slow (while few patrons were around) then one actually talked back when I had the gall to speak out about the long wait to pay. Staff is poorly trained or unmotivated. McDonalds is a superior choice campared to "Woodburys worst breakfast".

Service was friendly food was extremely fast but that would be expected when youre sitting with the food premade not fresh at all I ordered the number 3 breakfast I be lucky if I saw one egg, bacon was overcooked and the hash browns were soggy and miserable tasty the only thing that was good was the sourdough bread which you only get one piece of that was cut into two $14.68 way too much for that. Wont be going back there.

Right when i walked in, first thing i saw were all the stacked, freshly baked muffins and sticky buns glowing. Their breakfast is SO GOOD!! I ordered the breakfast burrito and let me tell you, its HUGE! and packed with LOTS of hashbrowns and sausage. My sister got the crab cakes and they were SUPER good!! The prices are SUPER affordable. I recommend this restaurant to families. Great environment!! Great food!!

Even with as busy as they were, on a Saturday morning, only had to wait 10 minutes and the food came out quickly, too. Really great menu, standard choices plus some yummy variations, and daily specials. Food was fresh and hot, made to order, staff was friendly and the place was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back, were excited to try lunch and see if its as good as breakfast!

A wonderful places for breakfast or lunch! Good sandwiches and great breakfast. One if the few places in the Twin Cities that does a nice, crispy Belgian waffle. Some other reason to give them a try: thick, crispy bacon; spicy Andouille sausage; perfect hollandaise sauce; and just right hash browns. Expect to wait for a seat between 9 and 1, so get there early or after the lunch rush.

Visited family in Minnesota and came here for breakfast. I split a Cornbread Muffin, Cajun Breakfast, and Pineapple Upside Down Pancakes with a relative. The Cajun Breakfast was enough for both of us; we didnt need the pancakes nor the cornbread (but ate it all anyway). Everything was delicious and I cant wait to go back next time Im in Minnesota.

I came back because the last I was here they had the best burger in town. Awesome service. Price is right. This time I had the breakfast menu iteml, and its still awesome as the first. Different server but as professional and friendly without overly intrusive like the others. She knew when to refill my coffee.. You bet we will be back.

Waited 5 minutes before I was seated. The booth had hardly any padding. Ordered ham and cheese sandwich, hardly any cheese and a ham still had the ring around the edge. The fruit tasted moldy. They did not have chips, so she brought me things they put on top of soup, and they were stale. Not a pleasant experience. Will not come back

The Woodbury Cafe is a good place to meet for a breakfast meeting or just for breakfast. They are usually very fast and have a lot of seating. They have a great menu with lots of gluten free options. Their bacon is really thick and delicious as well. They have an assort of teas as well as coffee, which I always appreciate!

We went there because of a groupon deal and had breakfast. Eggs Benedict was amazing, homemade hash browns - amazing. The Chicken fried steak and eggs - amazing. The only disappointment was that the carpet was strewn with little pieces of trash and food. All they need to do is invest in a sweeper and this cafe is a home run!

This place has great food that is creative and reasonably priced. If you appreciate good food: go to the Woodbury Cafe. If you like average food in completely unreasonable proportions: go to Keys. If you like to wait 45 minutes to eat flavorless pre-fabricated-shipped-from-another-state-non-food: go to Perkins.

The service was great, the orange juice was fresh squeezed, and it is the first time I can remember that I did not have to season my biscuits and gravy in a restaurant. The only down side was that my eggs and hashbrowns had absolutely no seasoning. It was minor though. I just added my own salt and pepper.

This place offers great specials! The wife and I tried Woodbury cafe after a weekend in the twin Cities and were surprised by the menu and awesome specials. Great ingredients with a friendly staff makes this a perfect spot for brunch. There was a short wait even with the place being packed.
