They have very good food there but their service sucks. My sisters and I got a drink and something to eat before our pedicures and we were SO late to our pedicure apt. There was 5 people there.. one person working.. long line.. does this make sense ?no. I worked at Starbucks and this was the exact opposite. No, you arent starbucks but if you want peoples business, treat them right! You are not first priority, the customer is! They were on their phones and WHO knows what else. I was so confused and seriously could not believe that it was happening. I worked for a woman who owned her own coffee shop like that and we could not act like that.,we KNEW not to act like that.. we got customers in and out as fast as we could.. thats why people wanted to come back. Good thing I dont live in that town ...I would be going without coffee.

Mocha Monkey has kind of a cozy uptown atmosphere, yet is still a great fit for small-town Waconia. A real Waconia gem; one of many. Mocha Monkey has a great selection of unique drinks and eats - sandwiches, baked goods, etc. Top-notch quality, always! Good, friendly service but occasionally longish lines. However, people obviously know a good thing when it comes upon them. Any wait is worth it. I still love my Starbucks, Caribou, etc., but this place is honestly a breath of fresh air compared to those.

Had a Red Eye and a breakfast sandwich. For the Red Eye (coffee with a shot of espresso) they gave me the espresso shot and then I could help myself to whatever coffee that I wanted sitting out by the cream and sugar. The one I picked was fresh and warm. The sausage egg and cheese sandwich was served warm on a biscuit..pretty good! The place is cute and the employees are really friendly.

Mocha Monkey is everything that a small-town coffee shop should be. They have fantastic staff, a great menu, delicious eats, and a relaxing environment. I LOVE Mocha Monkey and whenever I need to study or do work without interruption for a little while, I like to visit Mocha Monkey.

My favorite coffee shop in Waconia, MN. Excellent gelato and ice cream treat selections. Theres sandwhiches that are homemade and a soup of the day. The smoothies are 100% crushed fruit. You might be able to read all the options in your first few visits.

We just love this place. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The service is friendly. The coffee is great. They have fantastic gelato. Theres a nice selection of fresh baked goods, including some awesome gluten free options. Such a friendly place!

At 4:30pm on a Saturday, they still had plenty of hot drip coffee available, including their AM roast. A large 20oz to go is only about .50 cents more than a gas station coffee. Good value, good quality.
