Tropical Smoothie Cafe has the best fruit smoothies Ive ever tasted. $5 for a smoothie made with real fruit and a lot of different options. Smoothies with greens are available as well as protein smoothies. One smoothie is enough to serve two people in my opinion. The Ankeny location has not disappointed in providing quick friendly service.

I always go for the same smoothie because no one else does it quite the same way. Muscle blaster with whey protein. Always delicious, always better than everyone else. My only complaint is that theyre in another, a full half hour away from me. Id go there a lot more often if they were closer to home or work, around West Des Moines maybe.

First time there and the girl behind the counter was personable and although there were four people ahead of me, didnt take to long to get my order. I ordered the Sunrise smoothie and a kale, banana, strawberry, mango smoothie. Both were really good.

This is the best place to get a smoothie in the whole greater des moines area. Its a must try. They have so many great smoothies and amazing salads, wraps, sandwhiches. Their kale apple slaw is to die for. Hands down the best service around.
