Dont go here for the service. I took my two boys and we ordered two appetizers and two meals. The plates come out one at a time, I suspect as they come up. One of the appetizers was wrong, edimame instead of calimari, do he took it back to get the right one. My kids food came out, and the correct appetizer, but my red curry never showed. I figured it was just lagging. Hard to tell he never ordered it for me until after the kids are done eating and still... no lunch for me. Man was I hangry. When I asked, he tried to tell me I didnt order it, but honestly, I know what I ordered. The red curry was the whole reason we went there. Its a roll of the dice what and if you are going to get fed... luckily for Bambu, what you do end up getting tastes good. I wont be back though. I hate going to lunch, spending a bunch of money, and getting such careless service.

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. We were referred to this place by some friends it was definitely a good choice. The staff were all very nice and attentive. The food was hot and fresh and was a flavorful experience. The menu had everything you are looking for at an Asian restaurant and was all very fairly priced. What was very nice was the survey included with the check. It asked for a rating on various aspects of the experience, but the final question was pleasantly surprising: If you owned Bambu, what would you change/do differently? I could not give an answer because my experience was excellent. Including a question like that is very telling in how proud the ownership and staff are in their work. Please, keep up the great job, everyone. Im not sure if Sundays are just a slow day, but Bambu deserves to be more busy than it was.

I wanted to like this place because its nearby my house and would of been convenient. Sad to say that I was very disappointed. The staff was nice. But the service was VERY SLOW. There was only 1 couple in the restaurant when I went in with my boyfriend. About 15 minutes, 2 girls came to dine in as well. My boyfriend and I put in our order first and recieved our food last. I didnt think of it much except that maybe our food was being made fresh. We ordered beef pho, mussels and 2 sushi roll. The mussels came out pretty cold and the sushi rolls took 35-40 minutes to get to our table. And the pho liquid was on the edge of being cold. Also, the server never came by to refill water. I would never come to Bambu again and wouldnt recommend it.

Ive been recovering from pneumonia & decided to order out so Id have a break from cooking. I swear I felt better about an hour after eating the Hu Tieu My Tho, which Ive since become addicted to. Portion sizes are good; Ive gotten two meals out of most things Ive tried. I wasnt a huge fan of the sesame chicken; everyone makes it different & its just a matter of preference. For delivery, it takes an hour, so be prepared ahead for that. My orders have arrived fresh & piping hot; drivers are very courteous. This will definitely be a go-to place for me this winter for comfort food with lots of flavors. As others have specified, their spicing is MN style; mild is very mild.

Excellent-quality food with dynamite service. My wife and I have been there about six times, and its been a great experience every time. The Seafood Hot Pot is especially great, with an unbelievable amount of high-quality seafood for $15. As some of the reviews have mentioned, the lunch buffet is extremely small with only a couple of entrees, but its price tag is fairly low at only $5. The lunch buffet food is about on par with most oriental buffets - good, not great. The weekend buffet is $7 and adds crab legs, but the crab legs are fairly small without much meat. I recommend going with the menu items instead, especially if its your first time. -Kris

Had drunk mussels and beef pho and it was perfect. My wife had chicken pho and Cali roll and loved it. The staff was very nice and the inside comfortable. I revisited today 7/29/2017 after trying food at other pho resturaunts over the last month and Bambu is still the best. Had the winter roll and beef pho and it tasted great. The sushi is always made to order and fresh. This place is a hidden gem and a must. Back again on August 19th 2017 and still the food was awesome. so far Ive not had one bad experience at this place. I ordered the Dragon Roll and it was so pretty I almost didnt want to eat it but I did and it tasted so good.

When I fist went here the food was great, they also said the they would deliver to anywhere in wHite bear lake for free. We decided to order dinner a couple weeks later for delivery, lusas said its going to be a $5 fee. We agreed with the price but asked why he was asking a delivery fee he argued and we said ok. My family and I still enjoyed the food. Today we ordered the food through a 3rd party delivery company. We spent $40 on some very dry tasteless food that took an hour to get. I thought I was going to treat my wife the the food she likes but it was nothing buy a disappointment.

We stopped here on the way to the Petty concert and it was a great stop. Food was fresh and flavorful with something for everyone. We ordered a sampler platter for the table, spicy tuna roll, philly roll, thai basil noodles, shrimp curry and tom yum soup. Our food came fast ( it wasnt to busy, early dinner) and fresh loaded with flavor without being overly spicy. Everyone was happy and we had plenty to bring home. We will be back soon. **Update** Came back on June 17th and they served up another great dinner. Spicy sweet curry and amazing sexy lady sushi roll!

Wow! Super food, very authentic and packed with flavor. I had the Thai Basil Stir Fry with "level 8" heat, and it was to die for...perfectly seasoned, hot but FLAVORFUL hot, not just doused with pepper sauce. I took home the Beef Pho to have later on for dinner and again, totally dynamite. Superb broth, fresh everything for toppers....all I can say is YUM!! Lunch prices are also very reasonable, the service (provided by the owner herself), was exceptionally polite and helpful,and my order was ready very quickly. I will be back...as often as possible in fact.

We have been there 4 times since our intitial visit a few months ago. We went as a family when my father-in-law was in hospital at St. Johns. It was a welcome relief from teh cafeteria cuisine. The food was fantastic,. The beef and potatoes, mongolian beef and the salad were incredible. Spring rollls? Outrageously good and the service has been great every time we have been there. It is a real fine and I wish their delivery went out to Ham Lake where I live. Really enjoyed the knidness and warmth of the owner. She is genuine!

doordash had a little complication with their computers and i had to wait a little longer but everyone was very helpful including doordash driver, sadly i dont carry cash so I couldnt give him extra tips but overall Im very happy with bambus dishes except for the spring roll sauce, it was too sweet and peanut butterly, taste just like peanut butter and jelly on a sandwhich...lol! but the rest oweighs that small problem. Will order again!
