We stopped in for a late lunch and were delighted with the refreshed ambiance, Amy and Udo, the pace of service, and good eats. We love different soups and much enjoyed Udos hearty, garlic-forward chili which so good I had to try his house-made bean and ham soup as well. Wow! So packed with beans and ham there was no room, or need, for crackers! Laurie had a BLT which was pretty standard and I had a burger festooned with a copious amount of lightly sauteed onions, just the way I like it! The fries were good, but commercially supplied frozen. Udos peach pie was good but the chocolate chip cookie bar was over the top! Gooey with chocolate, rich with butter, and topped with a dollop of whipped cream it stellar! Based on that, we needed cookies to go! Thank god I dont live nearby! We enjoyed the opportunity to chat with Udo, in addition to cooking and restaurants we share a penchant for Crocs, and Amy did a great job taking care of us. We plan to repeat soon!

Friendly staff and generously sized coffee mugs means you always have plenty of java to keep you going. The menu is simple but satisfying. I had the Country Breakfast with eggs, pancakes, and sausage. They also had delicious looking pies but it wasnt in the cards for our breakfast. Very economically priced.

I had the special which was chicken salad with lettuce and tomato in a spinach soft tortilla wrap with crispy French fries. The food was delicious and filling. The service was friendly and fast. The cafe was clean and comfortable, good music not too loud. I would go there again.

Cute CLEAN little cafe. Friendly service and food came out fast! If youve never visited just know that they dont accept credit cards, only cash and check. I carry cash so no problem, but I could see it being an issue with other customers.

I have know the owners for longer than I can rember and they are awesome go here great food and service so fast your food will be out before you can correctly say how much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood

Bring cash! credit cards are not accepted. I had a sandwich and fries; very good. The cafe is a popular stop for cyclists touring northern Washington county.

The burgers are over priced for for what you get. Fries are extra. Pop is 2.25 for a can. The staff never check to see how our meal was.
