Excellent Japanese Steakhouse fare. Far better than similar restaurants in the county. Nice atmosphere, attentive and friendly service, reasonable prices, and tasty food. My sashimi was fresh, my miso soup hearty and my seaweed salad INCREDIBLE. Try the AAC (Asparagus, Avocado and Cucumber) Roll- its simple but really good. Oh, and did I mention the presentation? They didnt skimp on that- it was beautiful, and I certainly agree with the notion that we eat with our eyes first. Overall, a better experience than I expected. Im a regular customer now.

We ordered Avacado Rolls, Mizuki Fusion Roll, Owatonna Roll, Volcano Roll, Vegetable Udon, and Vegetable Gyoza. I probably wont eat here again, but the food wasnt awful. By far the best roll was the Owatonna with the Volcano a close second. The Mizuki Fusion Roll was just overboard and the flavors didnt seem to jive. The Udon and Gyoza were just ok, nothing especially fabulous about them in presentation or flavor.

It came highly recommended but I ended up with severe food poisoning after eating sushi that I already knew was over the safe serving temperature when I received it. The sushi and roll never made it far from the restaurant and was deposited in the park trash can next to the restaurants location. $40 dollars I could have been better off saving and going to one of my sushi restaurant favorites in the metropolitan.

My review used to be much better, but theyre slipping on the food and the customer service sucks. They rarely ever even say thank you, which wouldnt normally bother me but when I finally called them out on my first order of flat out bad sushi, she made excuses and talked over me and didnt acknowledge my issue. Ive been buying sushi here for a few years now, so this isnt based on one experience.

The most unique place to eat in Owatonna. Pretty good quality food too. Mizuki is truly a diamond in the rough, for the food culture in Owatonna. The most vegetarian friendly restaurant in this town. Its known as a sushi place, but they have plenty of dishes with cooked beef, chicken, and various seafood. Love getting their hot green tea. The green tea ice cream is pretty great too!

Great, freash fish, nice staff, wonderful owner that likes to talk to his customers. The food is equal to what the cities has but this place has the "everybody knows your name" that a smaller town resturant should have. Give it a try, if you have had a bad sushi experience dont be afraid to try again, this place is good, you will have a good one.

Stopped in for lunch on a Friday (as a warning, Federated Insurance is just a block or two away and the place is packed from 11:45 - 1:15 on Fridays. Food was excellent, and very reasonable in cost - they have a three roll special for lunch that is almost (almost!) too much for one person. Food came quickly and tasted great!

The food dining in is excellent. We had the edemame, Spicy Girl Roll, and I personally had the Lichen Hibachi special with chicken and steak. All were VERY good. Prices are excellent, too! Service was ridiculously good, although they dont have much to do. Atmosphere could use a little work, but that is a minor gripe.

In a town of 25k - Im thrilled to be able to satisfy my sushi fix! Came in hungry and left feeling like Totoro. Its no Origami or Kikugawa, but its only 3 miles from my house. Look at all the happy local faces on the pictures that plaster the entrance. Pass the wasabi!!!

Excellent food, Soooo good, huge amount of food have never left without a to go box, have been to both the Faribault & Owatonna locations several times, my only complaint would be the wait time if you call in an order & go to pick it up.

Waited 30 minutes after being seated and given a menu to be asked what we wanted to drink..Had to ask a lady two times that we wanted containers after we finished eating. Food was good. Owatonna Rolls are yummy.

My favorite place for sushi and seafood in the area. The prices are much better than a Red Lobster, and the food is easily the best there is in town. If I could eat here every day, I would. I love this place.

Great food. Terribly slow service. We cajoled ahead to order for pickup and had to wait 25 minutes longer than we were told over the phone, making our wait time a total of 50 minutes.
