The food is good but the service is TERRIBLE! My wife just set in the drive thru line for 20 minutes and when she finally got to the window the person running the drive thru read off the wrong order. When my wife politely said no we had the (read off our order) the person working the drive thru answered his cell phone and just started talking on it like she wasnt even there. After few minutes he actually had the nerve to hold up his finger as if telling her to wait while he finished his conversation. After well over 5 minutes of this she finally left without any food. After calling and asking to speak to a manager she was informed that there was no manager working, but that he might be back in tomorrow. Completely disrespectful! As if the conditions of the restaurant wasnt bad enough now the service is terrible as well.... we will never eat here again

We have been regular customers at Little Tokyo since they opened. They are regular people that are not highly trained in customer service but they do a pretty good job and the restaurant itself is kind of plain and lacks the polish of franchise restaurant but it is clean and serves its purpose. The food at Little Tokyo is excellent and weve never had an issue with anything. If you want to have a fancy dinner and go someplace exclusive then this wouldnt be the right place for you however if you just want to go someplace casual for a great meal I highly recommend Little Tokyo the prices are good and the food is fantastic.

Horrible experience!!! Ordered my takeout food for drive thru pickup and they told me 20min...so I arrived 20 min later to pickup. When I got there I paid and then waited....and waited....nobody ever came back to the window. I had to call the place and remind them about me outside....then the lady that I talked to told me she had more important things to worry about then my take out food and if I had a problem I needed to park and come inside to confront her she was extremely rude and also hung up on me...1 hour later I said forget it and left

Dirty and unfriendly with really bad sushi. The carpet was stained and nasty, with rice all under and behind the salad bar. The waitresses were unfriendly and inattentive. The nigiri had gobs of wasabi that totally killed the subtle flavor of the fish. I had to pull the fish off and eat it like sashimi. The seaweed salad was overpowered with vinegar so you couldnt enjoy it. Seriously, this was the worst sushi restaurant experience I think I ever had. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

my daughter and I wanted hibachi and sushi and decided to go here because it was close to home. Saw the reviews of it and they were great so we decided to give it a chance. It was as expensive as Nakitos and does not taste as good (Hibachi). The sushi was good and there were many pieces, so good for the price. However they did not have a selection for their sushi. So go for sushi but not for hibachi.

I am very impressed with the service from the young man named Boy. He was a joy to have met, has a great attitude, and it is worth stopping in to meet him. I had the chicken hibachi meal with salad bar. All sauces are hand made in house. The ginger dressing was amazing. I wish I could take some home. The rainbow roll is pictured. Very good.

My daughter took me here for my birthday, because I always go to Nakatos, I have to say I loved it, they didnt charge extra for fried rice like Nakatos and it was much better, I loved the flavor, Im only giving it a 4 star because it does not have the feel of a nice restaurant...but the food is wonderful, im going back this weekend.

Great Asian cuisine. Good portions with reasonable prices. Service is nice. You can sit down and be waited on, or call in your food for pick up. First timers, I would recommend hibachi chicken or spicy chicken: comes with rice, noodles, and vegetables, and includes a basic side salad. They also serve excellent sushi!

Used to come here all the time for sushi on Sunday, until one day we went in and they said "Sorry, we dont serve sushi on Sunday". I couldnt believe they would just say it so matter of fact when we would go at least every other week. Havent been back since, because I am never up that way other than on Sundays.

We had a meal and sushi for lunch. The staff were nice and the service was quick. The sushi was tasty and fresh. The main dishes were very good as well. We thought the overall value was good. They have not spent much on atmosphere, but we went there to eat not be entertained.

Best budget Japanese in town. Food is inexpensive, but tasty (and safe). Not known for stellar service, but the portions are good. Youre in the wrong place if youre on a hot date, or looking for decadent ambiance. Worth the wait if youre hungry, and they serve Sapporo.

I would give the food 5 stars! Amazing food and at a reasonable price. The portions are a little smaller than most hibachi but still very good! The atmosphere is the only thing i would mark it down on. You leave the restaurant drenched in the smell of Chinese food.

Well I have been going to this amazing place for years! Best food ever! I recently went for lunch (4-29-17) and the bathroom was so filthy I almost walked out. Then I was eating my salad...black hair in it. Food had little flavor as well. I will not go back.

Went in to pick up a take-out order and saw a cockroach on the front desk. The girl working the register started screaming and I told her to forget my order... then she was mad and said "are you kidding me?" Wont be back, I dont want bugs near my food

New owners? Used to be good, but we had rude service and the food was terrible. The sushi was fried in old grease and was soggy. The crab tasted fishy. We wont go back. Hate that its gone downhill, we need good restaurants on the north side.

Love this place. The only place we go for sushi. The crab Rangoon roll is *Amazing*! They do have great dinner plates and the teriyaki chicken is definitely the best in town. Friendly and helpful employees. My husband and I enjoy coming here.

Little unknown secret spot in Springfield.Fast service although did not have item I ordered from the menu, so I settled for something else. Chicken was over cooked, extremely dry. Sushi was spot on.

This is my favorite restaurant in Springfield. I travel all the way from Kansas City to eat here. The salad dressing is to die for and I have never had an entree I didnt like.
