It is cliche, but this restaurant doesnt even warrant one star, although obviously that is not an option. The .5 star I would rate it is accredited to the cleanliness of the bathroom and the architecture. Bacio completely ruined our night. We went to the bar for the 30 minute wait to our table, and were greeted by an extremely rude bartender who would rather light her hair on fire than give us the time a day to pour a beer. It took six minutes to get a drink and she clearly had no intention of communicating with us anything past that. My boyfriend is a server so we tipped her well, assuming she was having a bad day. We were then pointed at and dragged to our table without as much as a "welcome" or "hello". In fact I dont think he said a single word to us. We ordered crab cakes and for the outrageous price one would think we would get more than two lumps of what looked like crusty mash potatoes. Fine. Its water under the bridge. Our waiter came 12 minutes after we were seated. We debated getting up and walking out... were we perhaps invisible? The bread came in a giant beautiful basket and as we unfolded the napkin there were two minuscule pieces. Stingy much? The food was sub-par and as we were in the middle of the conversation they asked my boyfriend five times if he was done with the food so that they could turn the table. We were never asked how our food was, but you want to ask if we are done with it? The were INCREDIBLY slow, rude, and snobby about everything, but giving us the bill. This is the single handed worst experience I have had at a restaurant of this standard. DO NOT GO HERE! I wouldve rather not ate dinner than be subjected to these awful judgmental servers, hosts, and bartenders.

Raw calamari and fishy tasting Caesar salad ruined our meal. I realize Caesar salad dressing has anchovies as an ingredient, but wow...most disgusting salad I have ever eaten. Overwhelmingly fishy tasting salad. I dont know if the dressing was expired or thats how the cook thinks people would enjoy this salad. Also, I suggest a little music on the patio to drown out some of the loud highway noise. I worked as a server for several years and I seldom send food back. This was a first for me, sending 2 dishes back at one meal. I still left the waitress a good tip because she didnt cook the awful food and she did her best to try to keep us happy. Unfortunately, bad food = unhappy guests. The only reason I gave this restaurant 1 star is because the spaghetti was good, the service was fine and they did not charge us for the disgusting raw calamari. Im pretty sure they charged me for the salad because that is how it is supposed to taste. Heres a thought, warn customers that your salad tastes like a fish flopped around in it. The bill was still +$100 for 2 people. If you are going to charge this much; you better bring good food to the table.

My husband and I went here for our anniversary and tried a lot of different things. We had the Ahi Tuna Crisps, the Tomato and Avocado Bruschetta and Heirloom Grain Salad. I had the Linguine di Mare (fantastic!!) and he had the ribeye. We also tried a couple of cocktails and had creme brulee and warm raspberry cobbler with gelato for desert. Everything was great, and our waiter was just excellent. He was so friendly and helpful and seemed to be extremely good at what he does. I wish I remembered his name! Last week I went and picked up some lunch for my son and I as well. I got a small rocket salad and added grilled chicken breast (perfectly seasoned!) and a cheeseburger and fries for my son. His burger was simply the best Ive ever had, and the salad was also just really great.

Delicious, delicious food, and our waitress was decent. I was surprised by the fantastic atmosphere. However, one of my biggest, BIGGEST pet peeves was demonstrated here, and I am so sad. I specifically told my coworkers at the table about how I despise waitstaff taking my plate from me to "box it up" in back, whilst leaving important parts of my meal out. I dont understand why the staff would throw out a large portion of MY fries that I paid for out. Without asking me. I usually ask 99% of the time that I would rather box it at the table, and of course the one time I forget to ask it happens. Maybe just reminding your staff that sometimes people like to eat ALL of their food that they paid for. :) Also - Spicy Chili Sauce was to die for. <3

Bacio sets a standard of consistent excellence that puts it amongst the better restaurants to be found anywhere. It is nearly at a level with the Signature Cafe, The 112 Eatery, St. Pauls LaGrolla or Heartland Cafe or Chicagos La Scarola. Is it 5 Star? Thats relative. There are more expensive bistros with more exotic fares. Bacio is a restaurant you can bring a business associate, client, family, friends - anyone it doesnt matter; they always please. One review called it expensive with small portions! They dont go to many bistros! Bacios is a comparative bargain! Try the Parmesan Shrimp or the Thai Scallops!

Good afternoon , I need to let you know the experience that I received a Bacio on Friday might . Arrived at 720 and got at able of 3 ordered and as you can see from the check it isn’t hard order to execute and no reason to have 18 minutes between apps and main course .0ur server Rick was awesome . I believe your kitchen was backed up. No one should wait soo long . Worst part is no one came to check or apologies Thoughts> sent you 2 emails to find out your thoughts . not a big deal but if you want to get better you need to listen to your customers......

I had a lunch there on Saturday at 1 pm. Half way through our lunch manager informed me that someone broke into my car and passengers side window was crashed. This upscale restaurant doesnt have security cameras in the parking lot. Safety of guests and their personal belongings is not the top priority for them. A police officer informed me that this type of crime happened at Bacios parking lot in the past. I am quite shocked that management team is not proactive about it.

My boyfriend and I went here for a fun date night. The waitress was awesome, and worked around all of my food sensitivities (there is an annoying number of them...). I can be a picky eater sometimes, and when I didnt 100% love the dish that I got (my boyfriend tried it and LOVED it, so it really was just my preference, nothing wrong with the meal) she happily got me something else. Seriously terrific service.

Bacio is a nice and semi-romantic restaurant. The service is excellent and it is clear they put a lot of stock on the service end. The wine choices are excellent, but it looks like there is about an 8x markup on the wines. The food is good, about what youd expect from a non-family style Italian cafe. If you like being waited on and dont need your food to wow you, Bacios isnt bad--just expensive.
