The food and ambience were fantastic, as other posters have noted. We had a problem with the speed of service. We were seated almost immediately but it took a while before someone came and took our drink orders. Even after our orders were placed, it took a long time to get them. We could even see that the bartender had already prepared them - they were sitting on the counter but no one was delivering them. We were contemplating walking up and getting them ourselves when a manager noticed we had been sitting there at an empty table for a long time and brought us our drinks. All told, it was about 30-35 minutes between being seated and getting our drinks / placing our food order. From the other reviews, Im guessing we went on a bad night - perhaps a server called in sick and left them shorthanded. The food was quite good, so wed be willing to give them another chance and on that basis Im giving them 4 stars when I was inclined to give 3.

The food was terrific, as was the service. But the tables are far too close together. Our server could not fit between our table and the one next, handing and taking items over my shoulder. If Im spending money for a fabulous meal out, Id like at least the illusion of privacy at the table. I literally rubbed elbows with the fellow at the table next to me. When the couple next to us left, they had to push their table toward the table on the other side of them in order to get out. The lack of intimacy and thus ambience would make me question going back. Too bad, because the food was wonderful.

This is most authentic Italian restaurant Ive been to in the Twin Cities, though it doesnt look like it from the outside. Arezzo is better than St. Pauls La Grolla - a very good Italian place as well. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is excellent. Wide wine selection that features some very good Italian reds. Ask the waiters/waitresses to recommend a wine and you wont be disappointed. Overall, the best Italian food and wine Ive had outside Italy.

My wife and I just went to the restaurant for the early bird special,$10 for pasta or pizza and salad. Heres the catch, its only one pizza for two or very small portions of pasta. We had the ravioli, and each had only two. It was tasty, but I was hungrier when I left than when I came in. Instead of a good deal, we had some tasty appetizers for a total of $20. Dont expect a meal for the deal price. Luckily we had several rounds of bread.

Tonight was our second time at Arezzo. It was even better than the last time! The service is so wonderful. Our waitress was so helpful and attentive. My husband had the pizza which he loved and I had the squid ink pasta with clams. They have wonderful homemade pastas. So good! We had the calamari for an appetizer and it was prepared perfectly. Nice quiet romantic atmosphere. Oh- tiramasu was one of the best ever!

Always a great experience at Arezzo. Theyve changed their menu a bit, the servers (two of them) explained everything we had questions about on the menu and informed us all their vegetables come from local organic sources... so I feel okay paying more. Beautiful day, delicious food, great service. Thank you, Arezzo!

I had a wonderful evening with my wife here. The food looked too good to eat and was excellent. The service was very good. But it was expensive. Nice place for a special occasion but not some place I would visit often. You are certainly paying for fine dining.

An authentic Italian restaurant. I repeat...not an Americanized Italian menu. No kids menu but still kid friendly. The whole family enjoyed our meal. Everything was excellent. Just like my Grandma used to make!!!
