I am extremely disappointed with how BLVD handles food allergies. I have a severe wheat allergy that can cause an anaphylactic reaction depending on the volume of wheat consumed. I made the manager taking my order aware of my allergy at the beginning of our conversation. Prior to ordering the BLT Quinoa Salmon Salad I was told several times that the salad was gluten free and I would be able to eat the salad without concern. After consuming the salad I had an anaphylactic reaction that required hospitalization and missing several days of work. I spoke with the restaurant to tell them what had happened to prevent further instances of this nature for others with food allergies. They reassured me they would do further training with their employees and sent me a gift card. I decided to give BLVD another try and went again. I was notified that the item I have ordered multiple times in the past after I have been assured is gluten free each time contains bread crumbs. Although I had not reacted to this in the past, it puts me at risk for another analphylactic reaction. I spoke to the manager that was there at the time of the 2nd incident and was told that the general manager would get back to me. It has been a few months now and no one has reached out. If you have any sort of food allergy, I would not recommend going to BLVD

Just left this place, it was our first time going my wife and I. Weve been all over the US and have tried tons of food (Chicago, Florida, Vegas, celebs chefs etc). I also enjoy reviewing food joints from all over. Tonight we had the prime rib sandwich with truffle fries. Ive had a prime rib sandwich numerous times in Boston, Florida, Chicago, and here in Minneapolis. Before I said anything about our food tonight my wife said this is the best prime rib sandwich she has ever had and I agree. It was perfection, just awesome. But beyond the amazing food, this place felt like home. Our bartender Sarah was I would say top 3 bartenders Ive ever had the honor of meeting all time (there have been alot) Blvd is truly lucky to have a person like her. And then there is Steve (the manager Im assuming). A guy we noticed who made sure every meal was going perfect. This guy was awesome and puts the service in service and the great in greatness. . Weve been all over and have never been to a place run like that nor had employees like Steve or Sarah like that. And Im sure everyone is there is great but those are the two we got the honor of talking with. We will be back for sure. Thanks for everything. Keith and Sam Enstad

So overall this place has a great atmosphere. Clean, tvs everywhere. Our server was great considering the ridiculous demands and requests from our table of nut jobs. I felt like it was everyones first time ordering at a restaurant. One of our guys didnt like the price of the bloody mary so he asked the server if he could make a half assed version for a lower price, our server went and asked. We tried to bargain with the mimosas as well. Food is pretty solid there just one thing. Dont get the crab cakes egg Benedict. It tasted almost sour. I dont think crab cakes Benny is a good combo in the first place. Why did I order it you ask. I dont know but I wont be ordering it again. I didnt want to send it back cause this one guy already sent his bloody back cause it tasted like shrimp.

Great food. Really liked their special today - the lamb burger. Also the new buffalo shrimp - think wings but with GIANT shrimp - were amazing. The food is always great here and they are wonderful about accommodating dietary restrictions and allergies. I always look for a daily special to order because the chef is extraordinary and loves to be creative with whatever fresh ingredients he finds that day. Service is also good. Never in-your-face but always attentive beyond belief. Ive never felt rushed, but today I met a friend for lunch at 11:45 and we were in a hurry. We didnt even TELL the waitress we were rushed and managed to get out by 12:30. During lunch rush. Quite impressive.

I have had the pleasure of dining here twice in the last month!! I sat with my husband on the patio for a dinner and another time w a friend for lunch. The service both times was like another review stated; Top-notch! The food was delicious (flatbreads)and had a choice of several vegetarian dishes that made me happy! The drink list is thorough and I chose a white sangria with raspberry and grapefruit pulp ! I found it to be one of the most refreshing light and bursting with flavor, summer drinks! It is a bit of a $ pinch at $13. But we were celebrating our anniversary so it was special!!

Our waiter was judging us (it seemed like) from the moment we sat down, the drinks were super over priced, and the only vegetarian options on the menu were (a couple) salads, one soup, and the margherita pizza. In this day and age, Id expect a little more from such a highly renowned restaurant. Come on, even Buffalo Wild Wings has more vegetarian options than this place, and theyre only known for their wings!

Love this place. The food is delicious, they make great cocktails, the staff is friendly. From brunch, to lunch, to happy hour and dinner — you are sure to find something that tickles your fancy. The flatbread pizzas are flavorful and not overly dressed. The salads are fresh and fun. And they have the best chicken tenders I have ever had — with a variety of tasty dipping sauces.

Attended with a party of six. Everyones food was beyond tasty and served at exactly the right temperature. Generous portions. A couple of the items ordered were Shrimp Risotto and Pork Tenderloin. A friend who visited previously raved about the Filet Mignon Sliders. Our waiter, Jonathan, established a new standard for wait staff. He was top-notch. You "gotta" go!

extremely loud and crowded! waited to be seated for dinner 30 minutes on an early Thursday evening and still was so loud and crowded that peoples back sides were practically touching my table... not pleasant at all! talked to the manager, he apologized but did not even comp us for a drink! impossible to engage in conversation... left the place with a sore throat!

The ambiance of this restaurant was very nice. It was a bit loud due to the brick and concrete décor. The menu had many great looking options and everything that I saw was presented nicely. Unfortunately my shrimp caprese salad was not so good. One key to a good caprese is fresh, ripe tomatoes. These were the opposite. Ill give them another chance, though.

BLVD or Boulevard Kitchen & Bar is a wonderful, medium-high priced establishment that has quality, locally sourced, freshly prepared dishes every day. The menu is vast and tails to anyones flavor pallet. I had the beef tips with mashed potatoes and wood fire grilled carrots and asparagus. I would highly recommend this place for an upscale dinner outing.

The service here was outstanding! Our waiter made me feel like a queen. He knew all the items on the menu and his creative descriptions of the items and options available made it hard to choose! The food was good too. They pride themselves in making every sauce and dressing there at the restaurant. Everything was fresh and tasty.
