Ive been going here since it was named the Lone Star Grill. First off I have to say they have the best buffalo wings Ive ever had. Having said that its pretty much a 3 star joint. Foods usually pretty good but Ive had some meals that were really a bummer. Service has always been 3 star. Servers dont stop by often enough. Glasses are empty for too long and they take too long to get the bill to the table. Regarding the venue. Man its getting old and worn. They have these plexiglass dividers between sections and they are splattered and dirty. Everything is just kind of dirty. The booths are getting worn too. Pretty uncomfortable to be honest. But the thing that really turns me off is the bathrooms. They are filthy dirty and are way overdue for a remodel. Considering how much was invested in the outdoor patio area thats only usable half the year I think the owner should step up with some new paint new tile and give this place a good a thurough cleaning. PS get some Heinz!!!

Terrible service. 7PM on a sunday and they dont have french fries or brisket? They dont tell me this on the phone when I order, so I have to find out when I go to pick it up. The restaurant was nearly empty yet I stood for 5 minutes at the front desk while employes walked past, but did not greet me. Finally the space cadet at the counter had to be asked three times DIRECTLY FACE TO FACE "What are the other sides?" before she snapped out of her stupor and informed me of my options. The manager walked past and gave a half hearted apology while walking past, I tried to explain WHY I was unhappy so they could work on it in the future, but he literally looked right at me, turned his back, and walked away. I understand people and companies have bad days, but this was a culmination of employee apathy, not one "bad apple."

First, the food was delicious and well prepared. We arrived about 3pm so it wasnt busy in the dining room, but the bar was lively. The decor was clean and appropriate for the theme. They have gluten-free and vegan friendly menu items and out waitress Julie was friendly. My only negative comment is related to having to search for someone to seat us on arrival. No signs as to seating ourselves and no one within aight. We waited approximately 5 minutes before I went the bar to ask for help. I was helped immediately and the rest of our experience was pleasant. They just need a better system when the hostess position isnt occupied. All in all a good experience and the positive outweighed the negative so I will be back to Lone Spur to try their BBQ Beef Brisket!

The service is terrible here. Food was less than adequate. We went there for a friends birthday for a few drinks and dinner. We had to flag someone to order food 4 times. We ordered food all at the same time, some the same items and there was clearly now proper system in play, half the table got food, the rest anywhere from 15 to 20 min later intermittently. Finish drinks and food were not cleared in a timely manner (over 20 min). We just did it ourselves and put stuff on an empty table. When all of us were ready to leave there was no one to give us our check. Again went and asked for it 3 times and when they took our credit cards it wad another 15 to 20 mins. THE PLACE WAS NOT BUSY! What are they doing?! Avoid. I will never go back.

A Flywheel of disappointment... We first went there a few years ago and thought the food and customer service were excellent. We are now suspecting that it was the friends and liquor we were with that made it so enjoyable. The more and more we went, the more we were let down. This last experience, the refried beans were hard, the rice was cold, and the our main orders were wrong. We would have asked to get the meal corrected, but our server did not check in with us and we were starving. Its a shame since it is so close to home, but from now on we will drive a little further to support a restaurant that appreciates our business.

The Mopo wings are big and juicy. The seasoning is the best I have had anywhere - kind of like a seasoned salt with a five spice bent to it. When it comes to food, I am particular to a fault and perhaps overly discerning, so recommendations are not earned easily. The smoked prime rib served on Friday and Saturday nights is unusual and quite good as well. This is a one of a kind restaurant - not a chain. Interesting western memorabilia surrounds you the adjoining bar is generally quite lively - although I only come to dine. Service seems consistently decent.

Kid friendly and fun, with good food at a reasonable price! The menu is huge enough for everyone to find something, including vegetarians. The $18.99 prime rib dinner special on Friday and Saturday night is a great deal. The ribs are super tender and the fajitas are excellent, and the corn bread is to die for. I ordered seafood enchiladas that were delicious and a bargain at only $8.99. The Southwest decor is kind of tacky but is so much fun for kids, and the kid meals are inexpensive and come with an abundance of healthy side options.

The establishment has good food, but one of the worse management I have ever encountered. Who is the owner of Restaurant. I have been to this restaurant 2 times once by myself and once with my family, and each time I was treated extremely bad. I would for sure not recommend this restaurant under this ownership. The owner is not friendly to children and does not recognize new costumers and does not know how to communicate with new guests. He frightens my child and made her feel like she is not wanted.

I usually love it here. I havent had a complaint about it until tonight. I spent $50 on myself here last night and left almost completely sober. Tonight I spent 38 dollars and got turned down twice for drinks because they were "saving their asses." How is it that the owner himself made my drinks last night but the bartender tonight told me I was too much of a caution? I will never spend my money here again. Lone Spur... you just lost a 2 year customer.... Mind you, Im completely sober...

Service was rude and exceedingly slow. Take out? how long should it take especially if Im having a tequila and a beer while I wait? Nice bartender who served me but the owner comes by shortly after Im served and comments to the bartender that I got too much tequila in my glass. Really? Wait staff absolutely off the chart rude by ignoring my order. When it finally came they missed half of my order which I only found out about until I got home. Do NOT go here unless you want to be abused

I wouldve rather had a frozen pizza. The service at the grill was terrible, unknowledgeable, and slow. They have drinks on their menu that are not even available. I ordered a Wrangler Burger and it was the dryest, most overdone burger. It crumbled while I ate. I wouldve complained, but by the time the server came back, I was done and just wanted to leave. I will nit be coming back for anything outside of the bar, which was decent last time I went, so I will give it a 2.
