This is my new favorite place, I love it! Great atmosphere and great food. The staff were friendly and answered my questions and had some great advice as to what to order. The idea is simple; serve em sausage and beer. But the execution is far beyond simple. The favored sausage is so good and the toppings are as equally delightful to your taste buds. The place encourages good times with friends. Theres plenty to watch due to several tvs scattered around the place. The special home made mustard is delish and the ketchup flavors will have you tasting right from the bottle. Great happy hour deals. Dont pass this place up.

Note, they do not have hard liquor, and very limited wine selection, but thats not why you come here. You come here for the incredible beer and wurst. Its a very fun space, delightful long tables, with a phenomenal selection of toppings and sides. Only 4 stars as I do wish they had more variety of beers eligible for their happy hour special, and the acoustics of the place make it a bit hard to hear your friends once the place gets more full. Overall though, a great spot, would recommend with out hesitation to anyone who likes sausage, fried pickle spears, or beer.

Had a very nice lunch for $10. Bratwurst with a lovely, fresh bun topped with onions/peppers and kraut (my choice of two toppings), fries, and a beer from their lunch special list (a Liftbridge Farm Girl for me). They offer three kinds of mustard made in house and a mango curry ketchup. I love the German-Style bench seating, and with 11 televisions, this would be a good place to watch a game. Also, if you just want to wash your hands, you dont have to go inside the restroom! Last long sink is available in the "Toilettes" hallway.

On June 14th 2017, I slipped and fell on their wet cement floor. They had wet rings from beer that came out of the cooler. I was lucky, only had sore back & was black/blue. BUT, they were very un-caring. Bar staff had attitude when they were asked to help me stand up, no one asked if I was OK, the other staff members gave me a bag of ice that had a hole and dripped down my leg, no one offered to pay for our lunch and the place only had 4 people eating, at the time..SO a little extra TLC would have helped. NOT a nice place....

Staff was rude when we walked in and seemed put out that we were not familiar with their hip concept. The menu was confusing, and where exactly you order your food was a mystery. Be warned that there are no servers here and the staff there was too busy leaning on things to be helpful on a Saturday night. We didnt get to the food, we left and went to Morts across the street where we were greeting warmly and enjoyed a fantastic dinner. Your mileage may vary, and maybe the concept will work for you, but we wont be back.

New Bohemia offers a unique local-beer-focused, warehouse-style taproom for the west suburbs of Minneapolis. One recent visit had our group sampling small glasses of nearly all the Surly brand beers (my favorite). If one is hungry, one wont have too much choice here beyond fried foods and sausages. The seating could perhaps be more comfortable, as most spots are communal-style benches. Big TVs and loud 90s music remind me of a higher-energy Buffalo Wild Wings, but obviously with much better beer choices.

I have been here 4 times, every time has been a delight. Today I got the pretzel which seemed a little over priced at $14. Well, between myself, my wife and two kids we didnt get through half of it. Also today I ordered one of the best brats I have ever had. The jackalope, thats right, jack rabbit and antelope. Tasted slightly gamey with the perfect snap and a lot of heat. Just phenomenal, I have also had the cilantro duck which is also amazing.

A must if you like the German/Bohemian feel. Great brats and beer. Amazing happy hour, $3 beer Monday to Friday from 3 to 6. Tuesdays from 5 to 6 they have 2 select taps for $1. A different feel from ordering beer and food; self serve in a way but it reduces the time it takes to get a beer. Staff is friendly and truly have an understanding of the different beers.

Ups and downs, come a lot and leave content most days but when I dont it usually pretty bad... Service, noise, the specials and limited happy hour are to be expected but mixing up beers, being ignored by bartenders when sitting at the bar, and having half the beers on the list already empty makes it tough to come back when a situation allows for any place else.

1st time here. Its an interesting concept. Very large beer selection, all the brats in the world, limited wait staff. Unlikely I will be able to go her often, and to cut them some slack I was here on a Monday night. That said there was only 1 bartender covering the entire restaurant, brat was over cooked and dried out, excellent beer selection.

Pretty cool setup with the amount if TVs and drinks on tap. Wish they had a full bar but plenty of beer and a cider or two to choose from. The giant pretzels are great and they have an assortment of sausages. A nice place to grab happy hour or chill with s friend, but wouldnt recommend for dinner if you want something beside sausages.

Pretty awesome place!!! Good selection of beer for the aficionado. The food is good, but mostly pub fare with a little ethnic flair. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The tables are mostly community dining tables, little in the way of private tables. The place is clean and has a modern industrial feel that works for it.

Went here to try the vegan wurst selection. Took about two bites before we realized the bun is non vegan. Why would we patron a restaurant to try its vegan items only to be told they arent vegan? Waste of money and a disappointing experience. When I asked the staff they assured me the bun was "at least vegetarian". Thanks!

New Bohemia is alright... The snacks and food are pretty good and the beer selection is vast! The only reason I knock it down a star is that Im not a fan of the vibe: big long town-hall style seating and the room itself doesnt contain noise very well, you definitely have to shout at each other when the room gets more full.

Great causal spot with outstanding sausages, sauces, fries and an incredible beer list! The spot is great for families and for happy hour crews. It is loud and busy so maybe not an ideal spot for a deep chat but hopefully you figured that out ahead of coming in. All the aforementioned positives will keep us coming back!

Its a good place to stop for lunch and a brew. The staff was very friendly and the choices of food and beverage very plenty. The only reason it didnt get a 5 star rating was the seating. It was long benches and bar seats (Adding to the atmosphere so not complaining) this was hard for me with my disability to sit at.

Great beer and brat selection. They do tap takeovers and trivia. I think a lot of those questions are bunk anyway but Ill yell out a few random answers every once in a while. Jason is cool and knows everything about the beer. Lots of TVS, only thing its a dinning bench style seating with no lumbar support.
