Great staff! Had an awesome bartender named Phil who talked to us about the local beers on tap. He let me try a couple and I found one that I fell in love with. Very chill the night I was in there. Definitely not a "country" bar outside of the décor. But that did not make me love it any less. I just wanted some good beer and a good atmosphere. Cant wait to go back and try their brunch!

Great burgers. Try the vinegar wings they are SCRUMPTIOUS! Quality drinks (Personal favorite is the "Good Ole Pal"). Do you want to know whats the kicker to all of this??? Best bartenders in town, hands down! As a bonus they have a pretty awesome back patio along with a hand crafted wood bench in front so you can eat AND drink outside. Great place. Definitely try it out.

Playing G Easy at a country bar? Ummm... no. Decorated sweet though. Love the bison head. But decidedly not a country bar... which is what its called. Nothing special here. Was hoping for some country music. Fail.

Doesnt fit the name. Souds like a stupid review but its too nice for the name and the area"The Country Bar" is too fancy for its name. Need to reevaluate its place in the current Lyn/Lake lexicon.

The best wings in Minneapolis, the original Shorty and Wags recipe cant be touched, sweet potato fries, Moscow mules or a Surly on tap to wash it down. The neon outside is a great Lyn Lake icon.

Really liked the atmosphere, but dont let the name confuse it, was definitely not a country bar. Lol. But was cool, didnt eat there but the food looked amazing.

Wings are outstanding here-crispy, salty and the habanero sauce is actually spicy. Steve also enjoyed the bloody Mary and I am enjoying a cava as usual.
