The service at this establishment is horrendous. To be more specific, the staff on the floor at approximately 5:15 p.m. yesterday (Thursday) does not know the meaning of the word "service". My boyfriend and I arrived to an empty restaurant hoping to relax from the day, get some drinks, and eat some food. What we stumbled into was a room of zombie-like waitstaff dragging their feet and not paying any attention to us. There was no host present at the entrance, so I asked a server if we could sit at a booth in the bar area. Like a zombie on Nightquil, she simply shrugged her shoulders and said, "sure" rather snidely. So we sat. And we sat. The waitstaff congregated and said some things to each other. Two servers walked by without acknowledging our presence. Then they walked back the other way without acknowledging our presence. Finally...finally...we were given silverware which was placed next to me on the booth seat because the table was still dirty. After a few more minutes, our table was wiped and we received menus. Hallelujah. The anticipation of what would happen next was killing me. And thats the thing, nothing did happen next because after I asked if there were any vegan options, the waitress responded by asking: "Do you not want dairy because you are allergic or because you just dont want it? Because I cant be sure if theres dairy or not." I asked her to check with the kitchen on an item; she refused. She then told me I was in the wrong place for a dairy-free meal. I understand that certain establishments do not cater to certain dietary needs, but apparently that wasnt even the case because, as we were already preparing to leave and instead go to one of the many friendly and well-staffed restaurants in the neighborhood, the waitress pulled a menu of "non-dairy options" from the sky. No way. Unfortunately, her insistence that I was simply in the wrong place for a meal that might cater to me, had already filled me with great disdain for her "service" and the establishment as a whole. We left and wont be going back.

My husband and I love this place! Its been a favorite since we moved to Brooklyn Center a few years back. I love the atmosphere: the natural light, fun music, kind staff. I always get the Ranchero Skillet, eggs over medium, substitute bacon instead of sausage, and wheat toast. I usually get coffee too, always a good choice. My husband rotates between the breakfast and lunch menus, and has never disliked anything hes had. The caramel roll is good, and one time they had a special cream cheese caramel roll thing that was to die for! Special shout out to the blonde waitress with the long, funky feather earrings- I dont know if shes the owner or just really loves her job, but shes always the best and is extremely friendly!

Good menu selection, AWESOME food(quite possibly the best steak and eggs Ive ever had and Ive had them everywhere), great service AND its in my neighborhood. I drove past this place for over a year everyday on my way to work before I tried it. Now I cant imagine going anywhere else for breakfast. There hours tend to vary so double check em online but otherwise I cannot recommend this place enough. Seating is very roomy and in the morning the sun just beats down through the ginormous windows. If you want to treat yourself to an awesome breakfast, this is the place in the Jordan neighborhood.

The food is good but its pricey for what you get. Also the servers are not that knowledgeable. I asked for Equal for my coffee and she had no clue what it was. I then asked for sugar substitutes and had to repeat that 4 times. I then asked how was the bacon. Is it thick cut or regular small slices. Her response was "idk its just bacon..!" Wow thanks for the help. Ive also waited for over 25 minutes during non busy times for a cheeseburger. To sum it up, decent food and close to my job.

My Fiancé just called up to this place and we are first time customers. Never ordered from here before and heard many great things about their food. The customer service was horrible. She rushed him off the phone because she had customers and she also had a very bad attitude which is not good for business. So guess what we will not be ordering from this place even if the food is great and not worth me going in. I think she woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.

If service and food quality were separate reviews Id give 5 stars for food and 1 for service. Theres only one server I like and didnt ask her name which I regret. Everyone one else seems just so incompetent. Every time I go there I have to wait like 10 minutes before Im greeted. Just gave up today. No smile no "hello", no "Ill be right with you." Guess Ill go to Wendys then. Or at least figure out when the good server works.

The sever had a belly shirt on it was very inappropriate. She was cute for a different occasion but for a business meeting it was uncomfortable for people trying to eat in a classy atmosphere. Her hair was not pinned or anything concerned me on health habits how much hair is around my food beautiful establishment foos was awesome. The staff worked together very well and very well service on time management.

Customer service is terrible. I have picked up food in the morning in the past and the woman working was so rude, I was hesitant to ever go there again. I am pretty sure the woman working there hates her job. I called to put in a food order today and again was treated by the woman working that, her doing her job was ruining her day. If you want to me made to feel like crap, then this is the place for you.

First experience here today for a Sunday brunch with good friends and family. I had the Veggie Omelette - it was delightfully tasty, warm, and crunchy with wheat toast, excellent hash browns, and great, hot coffee. Fine service, cool decor with local art. We laughed and really enjoyed ourselves.

Love love love this place! To be honest, the food is good but not great but the servers will remember if you come back twice, and know your favorites by your third visit. This really is a neighborhood restaurant that the neighborhood needs. I just wish they were open on Mondays!

Quickly became a go-to diner/restaurant for us. Super-friendly & attentive (but not overly so) staff, delicious food (our 1.5 yr old loved their chicken nuggets & fries, and theres just something about being able to get breakfast all day), & a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Great place. Food and service top notch. I had the bacon cheeseburger. Love the pickle spear although I prefer pickle chips to add to my burger. The lettuce, onions and tomato were fresh. The fries were good. Loved that they had A-1.

The staff is amazing, super friendly and love kids. Both times we havr come we brought a small child. Both times my kids walked away thinking they had new best friends. Great bloody mary! Love the blurberry waffles.

Food is unique and absolutely perfect. They make a lot of stuff in house as well. Prices are cheap and affordable, for a 5 star meal, service, and a great hearth of the neighborhood. Love these people and this place.
