WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER: I had a worst experience ever with Bombay Bistro today. Friends - please make sure to be really careful to order any service with this restaurant. I placed and order a week before my son's birthday party, and the owner (Ajay) asked us to send an email on summarizing our order (shouldn't they do this?). Well, I sent an email, and there was no response. We thought that the order is taken care of, and then called them two days later. The guys said that the order is confirmed, and he wanted me to send another email. Why the hell is that - I sent another email confirming the order. I was suppose to pick up the food at 11:45 AM, and when my friend went to pick up the food, they said that there was no order. My party began at 12:00. After many phone calls from us to the stupid restaurant, he said he was really busy for couple of days and did not check his email. What a dumb reply. Then we had to convince him and make him understand about the situation, and after 2 hours of wait, they gave the crappy food at 1:45. The "so called Manager" did not even come out of the kitchen to apologize or talk to my friend accepting his mistake. When we called him aft the party to discuss about what went wrong, that guy did not pick up the phone. When we called from a different numb, he picked up in 2 rings. How stupid he could be? Then he was constantly arguing that we need to confirm the order and he was so busy for the past two days. I have also pasted my email below as a reference. First email is my confirmation, and the second email is on the feedback. I haven't got any response for both the emails. PLEASE PLEASE avoid this restaurant. They are absolutely horrible and so rude to the customers.

I heard very good reviews about this restaurant and wanted to try their buffet first. We were group 4 adults and 1 kid (4 years old). We arrived to buffet around 2:00 PM on Sunday and we were in assumption that they will refill the food items. First of all there are flies around the food in the restaurant, when we informed about that waiter just smiled and left. There is only one appetizer for vegetarians and it was never refilled. When we asked about that they kept on saying that they will refill but never did. Some of the food items are burnt. Fish & goat curry was all the time empty and never refilled, we didnt even get a chance to eat most of the items. After all this horrible experience with food and lunch there was another surprise with the bill, they charged full buffet price for 4 year old kid and pre added the gratuity of 18% to bill, when asked about this to the waiter, he reduced the kids buffet to half of regular price and refused to validate the parking fee even though our bill crossed the limit of $48 for parking. Service was so rude and when complained to waiter about it, they gave the phone number of his owner/manager. We contacted him many times and left voice message but never heard back or no response from him. Not going to this restaurant again and I will not recommend to anyone I know.

Horrible Customer Service which you can sense from the minute you enter into this restaurants. We were 2 adults and 1 kid, they gave us only 2 plates, we asked for an extra plate twice but we never got the one. Hotel staff came twice to take the order and saw that I was literally eating in the naan basket but they still did not get any plate No water refill. Food was good, but pathetic customer service, will never ever go there again and never recommend to anyone. In the end, we entered 5$ as tip amount which was misinterpreted as 5 cents by the hotel staff lady, she literally stopped us gave us the 5 cents in my hand and started shouting on me that we are not beggers and all. I was trying hard to explain her that we have written 5$ and not 5 cents but she did not want to understand anything and she was interested only in insulting the her own customer. Can you imagine this, that the customer who paid her 65$ as a bill and after that she was fighting with them over the misinterpreted tip amount, on top of that the customer is trying to explain her that it must be a mistake and she is still blabbering in front of all other customer and hotel staff. Have never seen such rude staff anywhere . It was really shocking. Stay away from this rude Staff.

I have been to this restaurant for almost 1.5 yrs. We use to have lunch buffet from here at least twice a month. I have noticed from my last 2-3 visits that the restaurant has lost its charm. 1. Sometimes the behavior of the staff would make you think that you have gone here for free food. 2. We had to change tales as the chair and floor was dirty. And we noticed that later they seated someone else there without even cleaning the area. 3. The glasses were not clean. One glass had come particle in it as the other one had a lipstick smudge in it. (I would like to know which brand lipstick it is as it lasts long than mine i suppose.. :) ) 4. The plates and bowls were not clean. I doubted whether they kept the plates without washing. Have to say i lost my appetite after seeing unclean plates. 5. The food was OK. In some cases the food was old. Not that tasty. It might b quite good. But compared to the food they served there 8 months before this is not at all good. 6. They charged for my 2 yr old daughter. She just tasted 2 bits of dosa from my plate. Overall I will not recommend this place at all. Going to look for another restaurant for indian food.

I went to the Buffet today 08/28/2015 with 3 of my friends from work, and one amongst us didnt want to eat and just wanted to give company. We went there and our friend was very clear from the beginning, so she got the menu card and ordered a Mango Lassi just to give company for other 3 of us. I am a Vegetarian and all the food was just salty from the Kadi, Palak Paneer, and Manjurian. The food was Mediocre. When we had dessert, we just gave her a bite of Gulab Jamoon, and during the whole lunch she never had a plate of food or eaten anything else. At the counter, the manager/higher up of the restaurant just didnt charge her for the Mango Lassi but the whole $12 for the buffet and he was just plain RUDE. It was a very bad experience and he totally ruined the mood we went with. Ive never experienced this kind of customer service in the US. We go to restaurants to have a good time, it is not the matter of $12, it is just the fact we were being charged for nothing. I never go online and write reviews, the experience was so bad that I had to write here. This was the last time I am setting foot in this restaurant.

Food is okay, quite expensive, but the service sucks. This was my first time. I went for dinner with my kid and other friends. My 1 yr old daughter was welcomed by breaking a water glass on her and she was drenched in water in no time. Did not hear a single sorry from them, when my daughter was crying shivering from cold. Got our food. Food tasted good, except for kathi roll and achaar chicken tikka(I guess you might like it, but I cannot take dry food). They probably thought we would not tip them and they did not even do proper service(Everybody does mistakes, we can understand that. why would we not tip them???). We asked for some lime for water, which only came back to our table after reminding the waiter thrice. we werent even asked for water refills. All the other tables were served with moist towels in the end, except us. The reason we went to this restaurant was to order some food for my daughters birthday. We did talk to Ajay - main contact person for food catering. He was good to us. We are still debating if we have to order food or order at Surabhi. I would never go back to this place again.
