Went to Biryani with my love while waiting for the Mechanic to be done with my car just across the street. One of the best impulse-dinings Ive ever had! It was their opening day and the food was absolutely astounding. Service was extremely friendly and prompt(The only buffet Ive been to where the refills were always immediately on hand) and the staff was overall pleasant. Seating is comfy, though they only have chairs, not booths. What seating there is is pleasant and the ambience is quite nice. The overall star however was the food. It was incredible.. from the entrees to the desserts(you have to try their mango pudding with fruit) everything was spot-on and delicious. The prices make you expect some moderately mediocre cuisine.. -however- what we got excellent food far beyond our expectations. Some of the best Indian food Ive eaten, we were stuffed from lunch and still contemplating going back for dinner. Will certainly go back another day. Awesome place, certainly worth a try! Well certainly be there again. Pro: Delicious Food Extremely low cost for the Quality(~$9 Buffet,~$2 Beverage, free refills of course) Nice Ambience Prompt and Friendly Service Con: Unfortunately no Booth Seating Some of the dishes could be a bit easier to reach if youre tall.

At around 6pm on a Monday night, my wife and I were waiting to get our oil changed. We wandered down the block, and found ourselves outside Biryani. After a brief debate, between the neighboring Dominos and Biryani, we chose to take our taste buds into the Indian abyss. The server was kind and politely took our order. The menu is surprisingly affordable. We ordered appetizers, entrees, and deserts. To this day, I have no idea what we ate, but every bite was better than the last; absolutely delicious. We had so much food left over we ate it for lunch the next day. Not just one of the best Indian restaurants but one of the best restaurants Ive ever eaten at. Dont eat there, as the restaurant ambiance isnt the best--get it for takeout.

We just came back from Biryani after we found it on Google. We were very pleasantly surprised. Restaurant was very clean, food was excellent and service was very good. Actually, maybe a little too enthusiastic – the main courses arrived while we were still in the middle of the appetizers; we could have used a few minutes between courses. For appetizer we had the platter so we were able to sample most of the appetizers. For main we had beef biryani and chicken curry. Both were very good and were made according to the level of spiciness we requested. Portions were pretty big and we had enough to take leftovers. Very reasonably priced. Strongly recommend.

I wanted to give 0 rating but to review I need to give something. We came at 730pm to the restaurant for dinner and it took almost 45mins to get our order on my table, there were still 4 more couples waiting and it was not even crowded, I could only see 1 guy serving. I have never came across such a pathetic service. The food had no taste not even salt. We had tandoor shrimp and it was pathetic, seems like the cooked shrimp from packet was put on heat n served. Lamb Biryani was even more tasteless , the pieces were not cooked properly. Just for 3 items we paid $50 and was not even worth . Please dont ever try this even if its free.

Unknowingly went there on opening day, based on a complete whim, and were glad we did! The restaurant was previously Chapati. Unfortunately, we never managed to make it there to eat, so we cant say how the food compares to what it was before. However, under the new management, the food is delicious! We were there for their lunch buffet. The mango pudding and curry dishes are wonderful (slightly spicy curry, but very tame considering how spicy it can get), and their chicken palak was wonderful! I would recommend that to anyone who goes there. Were planning on going there quite often from now on.

Well I used to like the food here. But off late its only going down the hill, so is the service. The last time I went, rice was undercooked, so was the Naan. I was hoping the curries wud make it up, but the Channa masala, one of my favourites was also under cooked. One does have to wonder, what has changed, the cook himself or His style ? One more thing , Customer is always rite, the waiters here are bent on satisfying there owner than listening to positive critics from loyal customers, so they just LOST one.

I dropped by here a few days ago. The service was excellent, very prompt. I ordered some beef dopiaza, it was very, very good. I tried a little of everything... chicken palak, chicken and lamb curries. The aloo naan is very very good too. If you like chai I recommend going here for a cup. Its just the right amount of spice and milk without overpowering the wonderful tea. All in all it was a very pleasant experience. They have quite a nice range of vegetarian dishes as well.

To address other reviews: 1) Ive been eating here at least 1-2 times/month for lunch for at least 6 months and have never gotten food poisoning. Food poisoning can happen at any restaurant, theres an inherent risk to eating out. 2) The wait staff is always friendly and attentive. 3) There is usually a 50/50 split between meat and veggie options. 4) The food is not the best in the twin cities, but its still flavorful and tasty. 5) Ive never seen questionable food here.

Worst experience. Had to wait for around 10 minutes before we were taken to our table. There were no customer except us. We order mushroom chicken or something like that. Mushroom was non-existence plus the chicken smelled like old refrigerator that had not been cleaned. I guess they kept the chicken in a freezer and the chicken adapted the smell of it. Would never go there again...waste of money and as compared to other restaurants this one is expensive. DONT GO HERE!!1

Came on a Thursday evening after checking times on 2 websites to confirm it was open. Drove 40 miles because Ive had good meals mainly. Got there and its closed for 2 months. Nothing posted on their site or on Google, both showed open. This had happened a few times and its my last time. After ten years as a loyal customer this has been the third time of being advertised as open and 3 strikes is enough. Eat Street on Nicolette will be getting our business instead.

Dont bother going there. I ordered 3 items for take out and all of them are worthy of thrash. I am new to this area and was excited to know about this place so close to my residence. Ordered Chicken Manchuria, but I believe I got served sweet and sour chicken from the Chinese restaurant next door. Goat Rezala and Methi Chicken was as bad. Coming to the price, they are unreasonably high for such poor quality of food. Dont waste your money at this place.

Im very happy with the restaurant and have been a patron for over 6 years. Its reliable in terms of quality and service. The atmosphere is better than many small places I have visited before. I dont believe much has changed over the years, either. The food is good and theres a good range of dishes to chose from. I dont think that Id change much about it. Its worth the price and the reliability.

Great food, quite a bit better than the restaurant that used to be here (which was OK but not my favorite). We eat there often, ordering the tandoori chicken, alu matar, chicken palak, etc. Its nice that we dont have to drive to Eden Prairie for good Indian anymore. My only complaint is that the food is often spicier than our kids can handle, even though we ask for mild.
