My daughter went to RED LOBSTER in Maplewood, Mn for a final "bucket list" order of scallops. You see, Jenny was in the final stages of Breast cancer. She was going out with friend for what ended up being the last time. Jenny was trying to have a bite of everything she loved to eat before she passed on.So,In addition to her main order. she was willing to pay for a second order of scallops but was told she could not have the scallops brought as a side, EVEN after she said "Would you refuse a dying womans last wish?". What is the matter with you people @ Red Lobster in Maplewood, Minnesota ?????????? Service??????? I think not!!! Insensitivity........yes!!! I will never go to Red Lobster in Maplewood, Mn. I am sure the 6 friends will be talking about it at her wake on Tuesday as she has died.....and no..... she never did get her scallops.

In general, the staff at Red Lobster at this White Bear Ave. location were courteous and greeted us well. Our server, however, seemed to be cheery and started off on the right foot. As we ordered shared full entrees for the kids, it seemed as though -- I dont know -- she lost interest because she realized our bill wouldnt be as big or something? I understand being busy but it got busy much later after we arrived, not when we first arrived. She practically slammed plates down on the table. We felt ignored and just simply didnt appreciate the level of service we were provided. We dont expect the world and will continue to dine at Red Lobster in Maple Grove, our usual spot, but definitely not here again.

My wife and I wanted to celebrate a nice dinner here at the Maplewood Red Lobster. We walked in and saw 3 workers at the front desk looking very busy, so my wife and I thought we should wait till they got whatever they were working on figured out. We stood right in front of the desk and no one said anything to us. Then, shockingly a woman walks in through the entrance door as though she didnt see us waiting, and barged in and asked the workers how long the wait would be. And of course, the servers answered "about 20 minutes, can I have your name?" Completely just ignored my wife and I and didnt even bother to ask for our name or even acknowledge that we were there waiting on them. DO NOT GO HERE!!

i LOVE seafood and we do go here at least once every few months but honestly i have found red lobster to have declined in their food the last few years. the shrimp/rock lobster are all smaller in size as are the portions and the shrimp scampi isnt what it use to be. they keep trying to add dishes/combinations that do not remotely look appetizing . but beside all this the prices did find a way to go up. there are dishes that are the usual stand by for us without the weird combinations that we like and the staff are very nice, the place is always clean with the exception of The restrooms could use attention a few times throughout the evenings.

Went into the Red Lobster in Maplewood, MN for lunch with a co-worker, was greeted by the host who explained there would be a 10 minute wait. There were booths and tables open all over the restaurant. When questioned about it, the host told us that the servers were only allowed to have so many tables at a time. My advice get more servers, we went to Olive Garden instead, which had good food, better service, and no wait for lunch.

For what it is, its alright. I have to say my own home made salmon is better. Im sorry. Maybe Im a bad person for saying that. The atmosphere is chill, which was nice. I did see a very fat fruit fly buzzing around. ✈ I think we may have been seated by a garbage though. Server was nice but getting items was slow. All in all I wouldnt go out of my way to recommend it but I wouldnt say it was bad either.

My server name Dan, He was a Nice and Friendly He didnt hide anything. He would always Answer a Question About Food and Refills. I would go Here a again. But the Cost Is High 101 dollars Just for 3 people . Lets hope This is the right place in Maplewood. I like the fact Dan was a caring person because He Could put your drinks and Food in a Box or Cup when your leaving .

This is a typical fast food joint but with seafood. Ocean seafood is not native to Minnesota so the seafood must be frozen before being prepared? They do have a neat live lobster tank in the entry though (kids love it). On my last visit I had the crab linguini and it tasted fishy. Normally the food is just OK but the wait staff are helpful and friendly.

The service was good but the shrimp scampi It It It was just shrimp in an oil. No garlic no taste it wasnt very good. We were told the recipe was the same but we could tell it wasnt. We tried other shrimp but it wasnt consistent. Not that we are conisourrs but if there is no garlic in something you can tell.

I was there on with my wife and this was my first time there and I was very upsetting with the food I dont blame anyone but the cooks my food was dry as hell I live in the the area you can put on show for anybody else but dont get me wrong I would like to come back but out on respect dont judge no body

Red Lobster in general has just gone down hill. They are expensive and the quality is not great. They dont even have shredded cheese on their salads anymore, or even available in the building, which is annoying, but oh well. Service is good here and we have never had any major complaints.

I love pasta and seafood, so Red Lobster has always been a favorite since I was a kid. As I learn to adult, I am more wary of chains with seafood, but it still is kind of fun to come here for occasions. Staff are always friendly and the food tastes good - cant complain!

Went to the Maplewood Red Lobster to celebrate our daughters birthday. The host was extremely friendly and the manager Tom made a point of stopping by to see how everthing was. Nice personal touch as in most chains you rarely see a manager. Great service and food.

Oysters are great. But be aware they dont always have them available for whatever reason. My friend had a salad with grilled chicken and said it was delicious. Biscuits, yum, as many as you want. I almost always get the oysters but if out, many great selections.

Tina was a wonderful server. Explained the specials and carded my wife which made her happy! Good job Red Lobster, you still have a good niche here in Maplewood MN. Kids birthdays are also awesome here including singing and a sundae. This location rocks!

We went on a super busy day, mothers day. We were seated relatively fast. I ordered the fish and chips, and the fish was cooked perfectly. Our server was friendly. The host even pulled a lobster from the tank for my toodlers to touch.

Would not take a reservation, refused call ahead and hung up on my girlfriend when she disagreed with this. The manager refused to help her when she called back and said it was my girlfriends fault that the employee hung up on her.
