Unfortunately, this was the worst dining experience my husband and I can remember. We arrived without reservations and were told it would be about a 45 minute wait, which was fine. The patio was virtually empty so we asked if we could go out and wait while we had a drink. That took about 10 minutes. Once seated on the patio I asked for a glass of ice (which after 2 requests) took another 10 minutes. After waiting close to an hour my husband asked the hostess how much longer it would be. She told him another 20-30 minutes. It was extraordinarily frustrating watching our server chat with the table next to us for about 10 minutes. We wanted a 2nd drink but she was too busy visiting. We certainly cant attest to the food because we never had any. The service was so poor, we finally decided to leave. We asked for the check as we were walking out and they couldnt find that either. Finally a gentleman, who could have been the manager, said the drinks were on them because they couldnt find our check. That might have been their redeeming grace except that I dont believe they gave us the drinks in order to provide good customer service, we both believe they were simply too inept to find our check.

Took my mother here based on highest reviews and they were real! Well-deserved rating- we both loved it. Mom is the best "constructive critic" and she appreciated that her steak was cook perfectly as she requested. In all my years, I dont ever think that woman had had her steak come out "right"( to her liking) the FIRST time until she had the steak here. I ordered the combination 9oz + Lobster...MMMM So tender and seasoned JUST RIGHT. Not too much nor too little. Even added "The Works" (Berednaise, Onions, Portabello) but didnt even need it. Ill know next time :) After just eating soups, mom and I said "That alone with the soft, yummy bread could have been dinner!" Nonetheless, after not finishing the meal, she ordered a decadent chocolate cake and couldnt stop ranting and raving. Overall, the host was professional, reserved just an hour prior- absolutely no wait; Our server, Lindsay, was attentive and the Manager stopped by to personally ensure we had the greatest experience- WE DID AND PLAN ON BRINGING OUT-OF-TOWN FAM WHEN THEY VISIT SOON!

Ive frequented this lovley steakhouse many times over the last couple of years and as a seasoned diner I notice all the small stuff. This is a very classy place in the dining room and in the bar area where Harry oversees everything. Hes been there since conception, and that says something to me. The regulars that frequent the bar are very interractive and it is a wonderful atmosphere to be in to dine, or for coctails. I think youd have to really try hard to find the flaws here as there is so much going on to admire. All of the rest of the staff are very professional as well. Ive never been disappointed in the meals served either. If they do flub it up one day, youll not hear it from me because I will know that it was by accident, and if I asked for some relief, theyd be classy enough to respond appropriately. I dont ever ask though.

We had high expectations of Porterhouse and we were really disappointed! The dining room was loud, the chairs were uncomfortable. The appetizer we ordered was served with crackers that you could buy from a store. The waitress was marginal at best and the food was ok. My husbands favorite part of the meal was his mashed potatoes. His steak was fatty and the salads were the same thing I could have gotten a diner somewhere. I was expecting a gourmet experience and we got nothing like that. We were very, very disappointed especially since the prices were gourmet. The atmosphere felt like we were in a reception hall. We will never go back there.

Im going be nitpicky and honest here.... the steaks somehow fail to knock my socks off, but thats not to say that arent very good, they are, Im just being honest, Im picky, I cant even tell you what the issue is. Cooked and served to apparent perfection, cant explain it. 4/5 for me personally, I still order them. Everything else is indeed 5/5 Open table reservations, great service every single time, everyone there knows their job and does it well. Seafood is great, specials are great, drinks and wine list work great for us. Often times we find ourselves sneaking in for a drink and some dessert and never leave disappointed.

This place is fantastic and the only steak and seafood restaurant I can compare the quality and service to would be Anthonys in Seattle. They cook their steaks on the rare side, but every waitress will remind you of this when you order a steak. If your steak is too rare its your own fault I have been here over 20 times and it has always been a perfect slightly-more-than-med-rare for me and I order it as Medium. I am a Seattle foodie turned Minnesotan by job relocation, this is the ONLY RESTAURANT in the entire Twin Cities I have ever visited that stacks up to what I grew up with in Seattle. Well done Porterhouse.

I have eaten here a lot in the last few years, my last three times there (in the past 4 months) has been horrible. I have noticed the service has gone down but this time it has made my decision to take clients elsewhere. Their steaks are good, that is it. The baked potatoes are always cold wont melt butter. They have one vegetable, always broccoli and it is always cold and way to big. We ordered Creme Brulee and out of the 5 we ordered 4 were burnt, not caramelized, BURNT and were horrible. If this were a one time thing it would be different, I have eaten there 30 times, but I am done, I will never go back.

It was cold winters night when we got there and we had to wait about an hour. We found a couple of chairs with small table, and waitress came right over got our order for drinks and spin-dip. The spin-dip was hot and the best tasting Ive ever had. The drinks were good. We had porter house steaks and for a restaurant they were some of the best. Expect to spend $100 plus but it was good. We were back on a Monday night about 1 notch below the Friday night for food. The service 2 notches below.

This is by far my favorite restaurant in all of the United States. All what you could ask for in a very high end establishment without the pretentiousness. Amazing prices for the portions and quality. There is nothing that you cant order from the menu! Somehow they know how to make your least preferred foods taste heavenly. Finally, amazing staff and service. Always paying attention to your needs to make sure you have the best possible experience. Places like this are what elevates Lakeville.

Decent place, great service. Favorites were the Spinach artichoke dip (surprisingly), and the bacon vinaigrette dressing on the Spinach side salad. Server didnt warn us when ordering that their interpretation of medium rare is more commonly like a full rare. Meat was still tasty, and very nice cuts of beef, but would definitely go to medium or "medium rare plus" next time if we would have known. Was our first time there, and server was aware of this, so dont expect a warning.
