1.9 star average?! Im shocked it is that high. This review is not at all based in the delivery driver. This is based on the management/leadership of the store...or lack there of. Lets start from the beginning. I placed an order online at 8:55. It wasnt until after the order was placed and my card was charged that I find out it is over 2 hours for a delivery time. Really? Is it really that hard to staff and run a pizza joint? It is the coldest day of the year and the first week of the NFL playoffs. Any average general manager would know it is going to be really busy and add additional staff. Thats issue one. Huge deal? Not really, I understand the situation and accept it. 20 minutes later I get a phone call from someone ghetto fabulous at the store. Hard to understand the conversation for two reasons. 1. English was obviously a second language after Ebonics. 2. The phone system there sounds like hell. She had to call me back from her cell phone because neither of us could hear over the static in the line. Again frustrating but not a total deal killer. The explain they are out of an item I ordered. Now its getting frustrating. I order something different and start to wait patiently. The 2 hour window comes and goes. 2.5 hours after my original order and it finally arrives. Now the food is ice cold, the order is wrong and the drinks were forgotten. I could see the delivery driver was having a frustrating night so I decide to try to have a conversation with him. It was obvious that he was going as fast as he could but wasnt having much success. After some chit chat I find out that he is working almost 2 hours after his shift was to be over. I felt for him because he seemed like a nice guy trying to earn his check. I did leave him an almost 40% tip because I could tell he was trying. I can only hope he doesnt have to share the tip with anyone else from the store. The issue that I have is really with the leadership in the store. How can he/she let this happen? One or two mistakes is understandable but this was way out of line. My suggestion would be to find a general manager who understands the business needs and knows how to staff a store. Adding extra staff for a big delivery weekend would have helped. Having a proper ordering process for menu items would have helped. Having a functional phone system would have helped. Hiring a professional staff would have helped. Getting the order right (quality control) would have helped. Setting the order up properly for delivery would have helped. I am a sales manager for a multi million dollar company so I understand how important customer service is and this experience was a joke. I should have just made a frozen pizza or better yet ordered from dominos. I would suggest bringing on a new leader who understands what it takes to be successful. I am sure if anyone from the company reads this, I will be insulted by an offer for a free order of breadsticks or a pizza. Not the point. I am not doing this for a financial opportunity, Im doing it so the public understands what they are getting into. Do NOT order from here unless you want to be grossly disappointed. Time to find a better staff. Start from the top and work the way down. The world of online food ordering is a competitive place, things like this will only help you fail.

If you are looking for a trashy, ghetto experience you can definitely count on these guys. Their customer service sucks in a huge way. If you call them to update an order you will be routed to 10 different people and be on hold for 20 mins, minimum. And by then its already too late because your order is already there. Lol... Their drivers are unprofessional, the guy literally begged me to give him an overly generous tip after having to endure what seemed like a nightmare... (Its something about talking to people who stumble over their words that drives me nuts... One of the reps literally asked me how to spell E-A-S-T). Anyways lol who are these people. But yeah. Obviously, he needed a generous tip, he does work at Pizza Hut after all. But I will say the guy seemed nice enough, so I told him to switch jobs because he looks like a joke... Its the company, not necessarily him... 60% company 40% him. If it were not for the cheesy crust Id definitely not even bother with these guys. Again, the entire company and overall customer service experience is a joke. Again. Did I mention these guys are a tad bit illiterate? Especially over the phone. Me and my friends are laughing... I cant believe Queen Latifah became a spokesmodel for these people back in the day. This company has a ghetto, trashy brand. What kind of "Queen" are you? "Gather round the goood stuff..." I think not. Yes the pizza can be good, but youd have to be starving for a week. If the customer service sucks and they beg for tips for poor performance... Id rather eat crow that Pizza Hut. That is all.

Weve used this Pizza Hut at least 12 times over 4 years now, and yes, *sometimes* they get the order wrong, but always, the manager or night manager makes it up to us one way or another for the wait while we get our order re-done. It helps that we always go pick it up rather than have it delivered, so we can catch mistakes there in the store usually. Usually. Once husband got the large pizza home and it must have been newer staff and/or dinner rush cause I opened that box and immediately I could tell that pizza was underdone. Crust was firm but still white, sent husband back with it. He returned with a proper large and another identical large thrown in free, for our trouble and wait. We do have an unusual preference, meatlovers pan with no sauce. I can see how a pizza-maker could get into the habit of starting the sauce on the dough before checking to see if the order has special requests. Once I ordered a personal pan no sauce and the maker put sauce on it then noticed the order was for no sauce and it was their last personal-size dough they had, so I got a medium size pizza for the price of a personal pan pizza. That was cool in the long run. Meanwhile, Pizza Hut has always been my favorite pizza place, and the food is tasty, the price is great (love the $10 sales) and they never mind when I order unusual combos like bacon and Canadian bacon. Now.....if only they had a topping option of shrimp.

Ordered via their app. Got a call that they were out of pineapple, not that big of a deal. We got a different topping to replace it and that was that. I meet the delivery person at the fence, (I have dogs and didnt want to have them startle her at the door). I had a party going, so we ordered the large 24 dipper thing. (2 ft of dippers or whatever). She showed up with a small, probably a medium pizza. I said this isnt mine, I showed her my app order, and she took it back to the store saying they would fix it and be right back. 2 hours later and 1 hour on hold, I got ahold of a call center! A Call Center for PIZZA!?! She said she would "Leave a message for the manager" Really??? She said he would call me soon. Well 12 hours later (the next day) still no pizza or call. I did get an email from Pizza hut saying that they were sorry they took so long delivering our food and offered free breadsticks with another order! .... What Food! You never came back! We ordered Dominoes after that stupid call center call. They showed up in under 30 minutes. Hey Pizza Hut, you had one job!
