In case you havent noticed, theres a common theme in these reviews. The staff and the management are awful. The manager was incredibly rude to us and especially one of our friends. Three of us who are nearly 30 ordered beers and our friend who is 20 ordered a coke. But because she was under 21 we had to "speak with the manager to see if she would make an exception to their rule that all people at the table must be 21 or older in order for anyone at the table to order a drink". The manager then came over and in the most condescending voice she himmed and hahhed right in front of us and took a look at our IDs again and decided since we were "nearly 30" she would "let it slide" this time. But was sure to add that we "better behave ourselves". What the @&!? Does that even mean? First of all, we made resevervations to even be there. Second, the surrounding guests were all well into their 70s-80s, which is hardly indicative of an environment in which we would plan to not "behave ourselves". Long story short we ended up walking out of this place after the manager left our table. Its hard to sit and eat and enjoy yourself when youre so blatantly embarrassed in front of an entire restaurant by the management staff for no apparent reason. We called later to relay our disappointment to the manager for how we were treated and she mentioned "we have the policy in place because when it gets busy on some nights we are not able to closely monitor all the tables". What in the hell are you doing "monitoring your tables!?!"... like the police?? I worked in the industry for 10 years as both a bartender and a waitress and I can honestly say I never "monitored" my tables. I looked out for my customers but I certainly didnt pass immediate judgments on any of them that they would automatically (at 7pm at a small bar in HOPKINS) be untrustworthy and try and sip on their friends drinks. There are too many decent restaurants and bars in this area to waste your time and money on this place.

This was my first and last time at this establishment. We just moved to the neighborhood and thought we would try this restaurant since it was so close to where we live. We happened to go during their happy hour so we ordered 3 items off the ½ priced appetizer menu. After finishing 2 of our 3 items we had some of the hot wings left over. We asked to get a box to take the rest of our wings home THAT WE PAID FOR. They refused to let us box them. I felt like they were my parents trying to “teach us a lesson” not to order so much food (which wasn’t even the case anyway). The manager got involved and instead of having good customer service and letting this time slide because we were new to the area, she refused and told us if we wanted to take them home we would have to pay full price. That wasn’t an option because the wings were not very good to begin with and they were served to us cold (maybe they reuse all the leftovers and serve them to their customers which is why they were cold – this would explain why they would have a hard time letting us take them home). I asked both the waitress and Manager what they do with the food since we were not allowed to take home the food WE PAID FOR, and they said they throw it away. WHAT A WASTE! Not only did they waste our money, but I can only imagine the amount of food they end up wastefully throwing away because of this ridiculous rule. I have never been to an establishment where I was not allowed to take home my food…even at another happy hour with ½ priced apps. Instead of using this situation and gaining new customers and more clientele (through word of mouth – which is the best marketing tool), they lost new customers. We will be sure to let everyone know the type of place this is and instead of recommending this place to our friends, we will instead encourage them not to go!

We were a group of four with a reservation. We were seated promptly. Cool, great, grand. We are of the ages 20, 27, 28, 30. After we sat down, the three "of age" people ordered beers and the 20 year old ordered a coke...like she (the 20 year old) always does...because were not a bunch of hoodlum teens trying to sneak drinks. After the waitress asked for the ids of the beer drinkers she then asked for the id of the Coke drinker...We, off course, were confused because she ordered a coke. The 20 year old did not have her id (because she wasnt planning on ordering alcohol, obviously, because shes not a high school drop out) Apparently the "restaurant policy" is that they dont serve alcohol to any table unless everyone at the table is of age.......Im sorry, but what?...Whats that?...Has anyone ever in their life heard of such a policy? Sure, people under age cant sit at the bar, but to not serve adults at a table when one of the adults isnt of drinking age? Anyway, the waitress said the manager had to come over to the table to "give us a talk" before we could get our drinks, which consisted of her asking for the 20 year olds ID yet again and then saying "but Ill make an exception SINCE YOURE ALL CLOSE TO 30"...What the fing H does that even mean?...We felt incredibly uncomfortable, untrustworthy, and accused. So we left immediately and went to an "adult" friendly restaurant down the street, Kona Grill. They have a great happy hour...for both adults below AND over the drinking age of 21. Merry Christmas ya filthy animal, and a happy new year. Scoreboard? More like....bad....board whatever dont go there.

I just spoke with the manager working today. I was hoping to get information on their Easter Sunday Brunch. I waited on hold for nearing 10 minutes. She then answered the phone with a horrible attitude in her voice. I was very thrown back, like I was bothering her or something. I asked if they were having a Easter Sunday Brunch. She gave a huge sigh, then said "of course we are." I waited for her to give me the details and she then said "can I go?" I was in disbelief. I told her "I was planning on bringing my entire family of 55 people there for Easter Brunch, but I absolutely can not bring my family to a place that employes such a rude and unprofessional manager." She said "oh, ok. Well bye." And she hung up. I will never go to Scoreboard ever again. I am going to tell all of my friends and family about this incident. I really hope the owners of Scoreboard read this and fire that moron. I have heard horror stories about her before. I just thought she would be straightened out by now. Good luck dummy.

This is a great local sports/dive bar. Service here is generally outstanding and most of the servers are industry veterans and very competent. The clientele is varied, all ages from kids to grandparents and everyone in between. Menu is standard American diner fare with some odd choices thrown in. Pastas, sandwiches, and burgers, brunch are all pretty good; as are the happy hour/bar food choices. Otherwise the menu can be a bit of a minefield. Avoid the very odd cashew chicken dish, and the gravy on the biscuits. For those who have bland pallettes this place will be a hit for you, because the chefs dont know how to use basic seasonings - specifically salt and pepper, and often the vegetables are incorrectly prepared for the various dishes - either chopped too big or too small. Its a great family place, the salad buffet is always fresh, clean, and well stocked. Good soup and free ice cream with any entree!
