Went here because they recently went through a renovation so we wanted to see how it has changed. Looks like they are pricing to pay for that Reno. Ordered 2 Apps, 2 Beers, and a kids milk. It came to $41 without tip! NO JOKE. Beer selection was good so I had no problem paying a bit more for a craft beer (6.50), but the apps were a total rip off. Nachos were 9.99 + 1.99 to add the chicken, which would be fine if it was sized to share for the whole table. The nacho platter was so small, borderline individual size and the ingredients were very sparse. They were mostly plain chips with shredded lettuce on them. There was hardly any cheese at all, which is the key ingredient for nachos. They werent worth 5.99 in my opinion. The wings were 12.99 for 12 and were all oversized dummies that were undercooked, no actual wings. Server asked if I could take a bite to make sure they were warm? If it wasnt understaffed I might have sent them back, but we had already waited quite a bit of time. If you are going here stick to the pizza since this seems to be their staple and would have been cheaper to order. Either way, nachos are probably the highest margin item for a restaurant and pretty tough to screw up so I can only imagine if you order something that would require actually cooking. I wouldnt waste my time with this place unless you are going to simply drink and play pool, darts, or pull tabs.

As of December 2015 Heartbreakers has finished their long awaited renovation. It included: 1. New Kitchen Manager. 2. New, Bigger Menu 3. More seating, pool tables and dart boards have been moved to another area of the bar. 4. Larger selection of Craft Beers. Heartbreakers is apart of a dieing breed of Bars. Here you can find Employees who care about their regulars. It should be noted that a few events happen each week that might effect your experience. Sunday night: Poker Saturday Night: Bargo, expect a large crowd. Fridays (During the Fall): High School Sports cause a massive crowd.

I honestly dont know what is going on with all of the negative reviews! I have been to Heartbreakers several times and have always enjoyed great customer service. The menu isnt anything to write home about but the drinks are good, there are always specials, and service is always fast and friendly. Everyone who works there is pretty easy on the eyes, so perhaps that is intimidating to a few of the "local" girls (as some previous posts have implied). I have never been compelled to write a review before, but after reading all of the negative posts I felt the need to chime in.

Decor - It looks like they are undergoing a remodel, but they are not. Atmosphere, i dont care for people playng bingo while im trying to eat my dinner. Service, we were ignored for a while before we were approached. There is no uniform there, I felt like I was a hooters with the old ladies boobs in my face while she was taking my order. After the first experience I decided I wouldnt come back for the food (because it was awful, didnt order the pizza though) Went back a second time just for drinks and the service was equally bad... dont plan on returning!

They charge $10 for a burger that is adequate at best, it appears to be flat iron grilled and came out like a hockey puck, slightly charred. I felt the fundamental meat was of inferior compared to competitors. Yet they charge a premium for the moderately hoighty bar that they think they are due to a disproportionately better means of their clientele. Will try some of their lunch specials before I write them off.

Ask them to tell you a story - seriously, youll laugh your bum off. Then order a pizza and half a dozen drinks. You wont leave with a hell, you just GOTTA go here, but you will leave with a new local watering hole where you get treated like a person and can get your mind of of the ol L I F E for a while. Newly remodeled and looks great! We came on Friday at the tail end of happy hour and the place was packed. Regardless, an employee helped us find a table right away. Food was good, the prices were decent, and the service was great. The chips and queso dip was delicious! Ill definitely come back.

Been there around 10 times, was only willingly served twice... where is your customer service? And did you know that its hard to hold a convo when the music is blarring right above your head? Pizza is the only thing I liked about this bar. I go to Cys now and am very happy there.

Ate there earlier this year. There is not enough room for the tables they have. People trying to get around the restaurant were bumping into our table and people playing pool near others. It was kind of claustrophobic. Food was ok but not great. Beer selection was good.

Saturday afternoon to watch the game. Family away. Made the huge mistake of wearing a Blackhawks sweatshirt. Greated by insults and profanity . Cancelled my order, paid for my beer and left. Minnesota nice.......?

I think that, perhaps, if there were a natural disaster and this was the last remaining place...maybe. The food is really well priced, but you get what you pay for. Decor? Service? absolutely avoid at all cost.
