This is the best place for dinner, cocktails in N.P. wonderful, kind staff. Service is great. Food portions are generous and consistently very good. They have a dining room that is totally seperate from the bar area. So, if you want a dinner away from the bar atomosphere you got it. I prefer the bar area which is like being on your porch or up north. Laid back atomosphere. There are a couple of T.V.s so you can watch the game and they offer the same menu as the main dining room. There is also a screened in porch for dining and a patio area as well. Great place with plenty of options on the menu for the whole family.

Awesome place, great food. I have been here multiple times but the service is spotty. Some waitresses are rude and extremely slow while others are great. For example, went for breakfast and ordered pancakes. They were forgot, made again left to sit and get cold, brought out to me and I asked if they could be reheated. The waitress said sure, I can nuke em for you. She did that with butter on top and proceeded to leave it so it was cold again and saturated with butter. She brought it out like it was good and I didnt even bother asking again. My friends had been done with their meals for 15 minutes.

Fishtale has been a family favorite for many years. We were concerned when it came under new ownership but I think it got better. The menu has some great new items. It often gets very busy but Fishtale is definitely one of the most consistent quality restaurants in New Prague. Great burgers, great fish and chips, awesome breakfast (Sundays only). Last time I had ribs they were fantastic. Sometimes it can take a while but thats just cause they are slammed busy.

What a fun place! Great atmosphere, great food, great waitstaff! All around a top notch experience. We had the Gunflint Trail Burger and the Black and Bleu Burger - both were delicious and cooked perfectly. Also the Vomacka Soup was unique and tasty. Weve never been to New Prague and the restaurant came as a suggestion by the staff at Creeksbend Golf Course. So glad we took it! We will definitely be back and have already told others to go.

The food here is reliably good, although I cant say that I have any one favorite item. Often times my husband and I will try whatever is on special and we are rarely disappointed. The burgers are very good and the bloody marys are great. The Fishtale Grill is definitely a good choice if youre in New Prague and hungry.

The waitress take your order and than we get salad but no drink or silverware to eat with and ask if we need anything else, what she think she is a queen not I my book maybe trash and than dont care if she wait on us, maybe better take lesson from Amanda or Lynn

Food is fantastic, prices are reasonable but we have had service issues. We visited at a slow time but were left waiting extended periods for a simple beverage refill. I feel that is a servers number 1 job (to make sure patrons always have something to drink)

Food was pretty good. Big portions. Our waitress was good. The only issue/complaint I had was that the smoking area is outside and it was a beautiful night so we sat outside. Its hard to enjoy your dinner with someones smoke blowing in your direction.

Fishtale has the best wings. This is my second time here and I drove from Shakopee just for the wings. Also I found on Fridays they serve a mean Long island for $4. Great place and highly recommend.
