Im a big fan of Chipotle and stop in many times a week. The healthy and clean food rich in protein goes great with a good workout plan. However, Ive been to about 60 Chipotle locations and this one has the most ridiculous layout Ive seen. There are three entrances plus a patio. However they have interior barriers set up so that 2 of the 3 entrances actually leave you blocked out from accessing the ordering line. If you happen to walk into either of the two entrances that do not go to the ordering line, youre left with two choices. You can 1.) Cut backwards through the tight crowded line of people already getting their order or 2.) Walk back and exit out the building and then go through the only 1 out of 3 entrances that actually goes to the line. Then to keep you on your toes, if you walk out to the patio, the patio doors will lock behind you. In the event you need to refill your beverage, you will get to experience walking around the building anyway and then find either of the two entrances that dont go to the ordering line. If you have short term memory and walked through the entrance to the ordering line, be sure to exit back out the building and try another entrance. Make sure you get everything you need this time because when you go back out to your table, the doors will once again lock behind you and youll find yourself explaining to someone why your lunch break took 20 minutes longer than normal. On the other hand, if you enjoy people watching and want to see a bewildered look on dozens of people as they scramble through the Chipotle door and barrier maze system, this location was built just for you!

Chipotle in general is amazing, this particular one however... Every time I go in there, and I literally mean every time.. there is at least a 10 minute wait. The last time I went into the restaurant I was in line for exactly 30 minutes (I look at the time every time a join a line there) I finally got up to the counter to order, and one of the employees friends came in skipped the entire line (which was now longer than when I joined) and the chick that worked there made him a burrito right before me. I was so f***ing pissed off !! I wrote email to the company about the incident. They told me that it was "someone they owed a free meal to." Someone was lied to because clearly she knew the guy. Maybe they think being understaffed all the time makes numbers look good because there is 100% uptime, but I cant remember the amount of times Ive avoided them because of the bad slow service. But the good news is if u accidentally go there and see the lines there is a leeann chin and a subway right next door. Someone needs to bring the hammer down on this place.

Every time I come to the Burnsville chipotle the line is always out the door. Which is good business, but the line never moves. They are busy using the assembly line for the people waiting in line to make online orders. I used to come here all the time over a year ago. Now I split between going here versus going to Eagan because the Eagan store can get you in and out quick even if the line is out the door. I keep giving Burnsville another chance but Im always left disappointed with their customer service compared to other chipotles I go to. I would recommend added a few more people and make food in the back for online orders so the line is always moving. If you are looking for good customer service, I would recommend going down the road to the Eagan store. Even if its a bit further, you will get home a lot faster

This chipotle is closest to my house and if I have time, I will choose to drive further so I dont have to go here. The wait time is ALWAYS astronomical and half the time my food is cold. I go here often enough to have had many experiences here and I dont think Ive ever actually gotten my food in less than 25 minutes. Service is regularly slow and the food is inconsistent at best. Even when Ive gone at slower times with ten or less people in line, its still taken 25-30 minutes. I dont know if its a staffing issue or what, but Ive just never had a good experience here. The staff isnt incredibly friendly or helpful either. Everybody kinda seems like they hate their job. I hate saying that, but I love the company, dont like the location.

As the other reviews have listed this is a slow Chipotle. You can expect an out the door wait any time near dinner. This place seemed to be pretty inconsistent with the toppings. The amount of rice, beans and meat seems to greatly differ from 1 person to the next. Ive frequently had to ask them to put more on when they build my burrito. One thing that got me 1 time was that I asked for more chicken. The guy told me if I was going to pay for double meat I could get it. I said if you gave me single meat I wouldnt have to ask for more since he gave me maybe half a scoop. As far as quality or taste of food Ive never had an issue I can remember at this location. This is what kept them at 3 star and not 2.

This Chipotle makes the smallest burritos out of any chipotle I have been to. I always order extra rice and everything else at this chipotle otherwise you end up with a small snack instead of a meal. Not impressed. I have also gotten the wrong ingredients put on my burrito and frequently see other people get the wrong ingredients put in because the person working is not paying attention and is completely zoned out. I realize this just depends on the person but I see it here more than any other chipotle. Today I did an online order for lunch and received someone elses online order. Didnt realize until I got back to my office and opened it up. Wish there was another one close to my office.

This location has always been painfully slow. Even though you are charged for double meat upon request, you dont actually get double meat. They give you whatever is left in the pan. I have only have had this issue at this specific location. We stopped going here, but after a year away I thought maybe things would have changed. Nope. The burritos are not like they used to be. They are small and very expensive. Once again they were out of steak which caused a backup and a long line. Then when one piece of steak was delivered it was split up between three entrees and my double meat was about 1 and 1/4 worth. Even without rice and beans the small burrito was over $11. Ripoff.

Chipotle as I knew it 2 years ago: Burritos you have to hold with two hands, obscene amounts of rice and beans, stuffed with awesome meat that is grilled to perfection. Burnsville Chipotle as I know it today: A bunch of kids that look like they would rather pull out their own teeth then do their job, scraping off rice and beans(...yeah i know right?) so that the portions are tiny, have to order double meat so that you can get the amount of meat that used to come in a burrito...only thing increasing at this location is the price and wait times. I never thought I would get sick of Chipotle, but the Burnsville location has helped me get to that point. Thanks guys.
