The Winnetka Chipotle off Hwy 55 and Winnetka was one of few my worst experiences ever. After I said "hello" to the the intial woman in the line, my comment seemed to be ignored. No eye contact or smile. She had asked what I wanted in which I first ordered my choice "A chicken burrito with black beans and brown rice." 5 seconds later, she asked me my first selction again. No worries, I repeated my choice again. I then ordered my GFs selection. My GF had texted me her selection with her desired choice & ingredients so I was reading it to this same woman. I apologize that I had read it from a text message & didnt memorize all the ingredients-please forgive me. The same woman didnt seem to talk very loud and had a softer voice. She had mumbled a question and I replied, "I am so sorry, I didnt hear you." I was ignored. She asked me another question in line & once again I did not hear her (mind you I had a hearing exam a year ago and have perfect hearing) I observed her rolling her eyes at me, no eye contact, and blowing air out of mouth with noticeable sighs. It definitely seemed like I had ruined her evening. Maybe some people shouldnt work in the food industry when they have poor customer service skills. I mentioned my unpleasant experience to her female co-worker and the male co-worker at the register in line. They were both kind and polite. The male offered to get the manager and I said I would call when I arrived home. After I took my Chipotle food home, I contacted Chipotle. The woman that answered the telephone (likely the same woman) asked me why I wanted to talk to the Manager and what the issue was about. I stated, "it is a personal matter between the Manager and me." After some noise in the background, a female was on the phone (who knows this was the real Manager or just a co-worker who the accused woman had put up to act like the Manager. The Manager didnt identify herself. She simply stated what time I was there & for a physical description of the woman. The Manager had replied, "I just had a complaint 10 minutes ago towards the same employee." I told the Manager that "the woman was very rude & disrespectful. " The Manager said "I will talj to her." The Manager didnt even ask me at that point what happened. I said "do u want to hear the story?" She replied "yes." I told her the story and said "due to my horrible experience, I will probably never go that Chipotle again." The Manager apologized. What I am really perplexed & puzzled about all of this is I had to repeat my menu selection 3x to this woman and it was no problem on my part. However, she was politely cued 2x on my part that I did not hear her and she THEN gets condescending and brings a whole lot of attitude, inpatience, and intolerance. Why do u think you are special?? This woman needs to get out of the public eye where customer relations is not a priority and maybe work in an isolated room independently where wont be surrounded my human beings. Have had great experiences at Chipotle as a whole, but definitely not at this location. Stay away!

I gave it another chance--I did! I went a month ago and wouldve given it 2/5 stars, but it definitely has earned its 1 star rating this time. 4:50 PM and they have NO Guac (and no attempt at an apology for it.) If you even need to read further... Workers dont even say "Hello" or smile. Got the same treatment both times. Food quality is poorest Ive experienced at a Chipotle. Rice was crunchy last time and fajita veggies are mushy this time. Definitely not the cleanest location either. The workers seem to enjoy themselves...among themselves, but theres no attention seemed to be paid to whos behind the counter by either the workers or management from what Ive heard and have experienced. Dont get me wrong--I love Chipotle, but Ill be going out of my way to dine at the Crystal location from now on. Save yourself a poor dining experience and do the same.

I am writing reviews as soon as I came back to my desk... ordered chicken bowl today to-go... there were one lady and a man who were just gossiping and making fun of customers... i have been noticing them until my turn.. they were shuffling the queue as per their wish for no reason... they shuffled the boy behind me and his mom gave a weird look with surprise... but let them go. Later he filled up my bowl only up to 1/3 of what they normally fill. Even the boy in front of me has got 1/4 of the bowl. Those two (especially the guy... looks like 55- 60) are really horrible... I might not go again.... Posting date and time so that, they can check the employees if they want to do something... 6/30/2017 Time: 1:10PM around..... ooohhh forgot to mention onething... no one has a smile on their face except one girl... they dont like their job???

This happens to be a very convenient location for me. And, typically, chipotle is the end all be all for quick burritos. This location, though, has definitely taken a turn for the worst. Multiple online orders (one for the holy grail of the nfl season) have turned up with missing chips and I had to argue (over the phone, the game started...i mean, come on) to even get reimbursed! During my last hail mary (punnnnn) of a visit, there were 6 people working (or at least in Chipotle shirts behind the counter) and only 2 of them were attempting to make food for the massive line of people. I have now started go out of my way to the crystal location. Do yourself a favor, do the same. The quality of food is better, people actually smile while MAKING YOUR FOOD! I guess thats all...k, bye.

While the food is on par with other chipotle locations, the service and efficiency is terrible. Placed an online order at 11:45 to pick up at 12:45 (soonest available time) and when I arrived, my order hadnt even been made yet. Why would I order an HOUR ahead of time if its not even ready when I get there? I had to wait 10 minutes to finally get my bowl, only to find out that they didnt read my note about wanting both beans and guac on my veggie bowl. Brought it back only to have the employee hastily throw is on, roll her eyes at me and say "here" as she pushed it back at me. Ive worked in retail for years so I know bad organization and service when I see it. Clearly needs new management and better training.

Worst chipotle establishment I have ever been to! Awful management. Super slow (as a result very long lines) at placing order. Not clean at all. Always messy. Trash everywhere. They always keep it extremely cold. They are always out of condiments such as hot sauce or limes. When I talked to management at one of their workers (albeit on break) picking up food and eating in front of me instead of grabbing his food to go while I am waiting in line, he replied "well, I tell me dont do that but he still does. Sorry." Clearly this place needs a MAJOR overhaul. Im not even going to go into how rude the employees are.
