Great food! Chicken fajitas are excellent. Mild sauce best I have ever had. The only thing I wish they would change is the size of the table not enough room. The table is too small for 2 people. The booth is perfect or 2 tables together is better for 2 people. Trust me on this. I rate this restaurant a 5 and rate Chuys a 1. Great service. The people who wrote a bad review must have come on someones bad night. Every time I have been here their food has been good. I am very picky and I liked their green peppers, onions, etc. in my chicken fajitas for it does not overpower the chicken as other restaurants. Mild dip has great flavor. Give it a try if you are not happy ask them to change it. They are very pleasant and good to work with. Been here about 10 times. I tried another restaurant for I believe there can be more than one good restaurant but I still favor this one.

First, I have to mention our waiter, Jacob. He was so attentive and answered all questions. Never had to wait long for anything. Excellent service! Hopefully hell be working next time we go. Secondly, the decor is refreshing and beautiful. OK, on to the food. Started off with the Table side Guacamole (delicious), then ordered the Brisket Chimichanga, and the Chile Poblanos stuffed with Brisket. Both dishes were phenomenal! And presentation was A+++! They pack so much flavor into every component that you literally do not want to stop eating. Best rice I have ever tasted from a Mexican restaurant. Next time, I will be ordering just the Tex-Mex rice dish, just because of the rice. Whichever reviewer said that portions were small...not true. The food amount was more than plenty. We left happy and stuffed! And.... WANTING to return.

This place has the slowest, most inefficient staff I have ever seen. We waited for 40 minutes as we watched tables sit open the entire time on a Friday night. The hostesses were not on top of their jobs. We were eventually seated at an open booth we had been staring at for most of our wait. We waited and waited as servers passed us, but we were not greeted. We finally managed to flag down a server who pretended to "take our table" when it was hers to begin with. She just didnt want to admit she was our assigned server who had ignored us. We were passed by a manager and 4 servers who never attempted to greet us and get our drink order. Our food took a long time, as well. The food was good. Too bad the service is horrible every time I eat at La Parilla.

The only really good thing I can say, is that the Beer was cold. After waiting 30 minutes to be sat,we were not greeted for another 10 minutes. Our server, John was nice enough, though not real attentive. We finally were able to order after another 20 minutes or so. After we ordered it took around 30 minutes for the food to come out...and Our 3 year olds meal was forgotten. When his food finally made it to the table it was on a piping hot plate..really? The Manager that came by could have not cared less, and made NO effort to even make a genuine apologetic statement... We will not return.

Passing through and we were craving Mexican....this was definitely the way to go! We sat at the bar and had excellent service, cold beer and amazing food!! Fresh chips and tasty salsa is always a good sign upon arrival! Edit: we have now been here all three of our nights in town because...why not!? Its so good and the service is so on point. We made friends and if we ever have a reason to stop here again, even if out of the way, we will! Our bartenders (Stef, Juan and Valentina) made us feel at home when we werent! Thank you!

I recently ate here and just saw on WYFF that one of their employees named Estela Ruiz-Gomez gave birth to a child in the bathroom and killed it by placing it in a garbage bag only to be found out when the dead child fell from the bag en route to the dumpster. And the employee was illegal. If an employer is found to have illegals working, then everyones immigration status should be verified. Stories like this are precisely the reason Donald Trump was elected. This whole story is at the expense of US taxpayers.

Im torn. If I could just rate the food and the price, this would definitely be a five star review. However, our service experience has been atrocious. We are ready for our check and have seen our server twice. It took our server at least 15 minutes to greet us, our appetizer came out at the same time as our entrees, and then my husbands silverware was dirty. No apologies made, only excuses. Im disappointed that the service has been so bad because the food is definitely giving a try.

Fav Mex restaurant and eaten there many times...but Fathers Day night was very off. Not enough help and food order mixed up and over cooked steak.. Had to flag down three wait persons to get beverages and asked 4 staff to switch one of five tv from soccer to USOpen golf tourney before succeeding. Hope this is undreanticipating Fathers Day traffic and not a sign of things to com. Management ...please take heed!! You have been the best. Dont let it slide.

With so many good reviews, we had to stop on our way through the area. The place looks nice and it was crowded. We went in and the first problem was the music, it was way too loud, we couldnt even have a conversation. The margaritas were average at best. The food was salty but didnt have any real flavor. The avocados were fresh in the guacamole but it didnt have salt or lime. The service wasnt that great either, but everyone was friendly.

La Parrillas is by FAR my favorite Mexican restaurant in Greenville! Whenever we have family visiting from out of town, La Parrillas is a go-to restaurant! Last summer I took my sister there when she was visiting from Wisconsin and she liked it so much that we went there a 2nd time during her trip! This has even been my birthday restaurant the past few years and is a great place to enjoy their 1/2 price margaritas on Tuesday evenings.

We went for lunch and were seated almost immediately. The waiter was extremely attentive and efficient with getting our drink and food orders. The other wait staff checked in with us throughout the meal and refilled our drinks. I ordered the steak fajitas and they were delicious and more than I could eat in one sitting, especially after the 2 bowls of chips and salsa that they gave us when we sat down. I will definitely be back!

Every time we eat here, we have excellent service from the front door all the way through until we leave. The wait staff management are friendly and on the spot with silent service through the meal. The tables are pre-bussed during the meal to clean off excess dishes. The food seems to always be cooked fresh to order. I would recommend the dining experience to anyone who enjoys mexican/southwest cuisine.

If this the best Mexican food in the area, the people who have said that must have been drinking the tequila and lots of it. The queso had no flavor and the salsa is about the wise Ive ever had. It had no flavor whatsoever. My daughter had the fajitas and whatever they cook the vegetables in, makes them awful. This is about the worse Mexican food Ive ever had.
