Raising Canes Blaine Review. Great chicken... but wheres the lemonade? For the 6th time.... I dont normally write reviews, but tonight irked me a bit by the response I got. So heres my story, as a person who does not drink Soda, but enjoy lemonade and tea very much- as I would drive here to just get a beverage some days. Anyways.. Store hours: Mon-Thursday open till 11PM Lemonade made not available from 9pm -11pm Seriously, your prized and amazing lemonade with your crushed ice is not available to those that want to eat your chicken late at night? I get off work at 9, swing over to Raisen Canes around 9:15, 9:30ish to order my usual Caniac Combo meal with a large Lemonade.. and 6 times now (4 of the last 6 nights within 2 weeks) I get the same response: "Uhh.. Sorry were out of lemonade, want something else?" "No- I really wanted your lemonade, kinda bummed actually.." "Yeah you need to come earlier, we dont have have lemonade or tea at night here.." "WTF?! I can not stop by any earlier.. I go here because youre open until 11..." Im not upset, just very confused on why youre open late and not offer everything on your tiny menu?? The lemonade and tea are heavily advertised as much as the beloved Chicken Strips.. yet there seems to be a lack of lemons or staff to make enough lemonade. Its nice to see the machines all pristine and already cleaned up for the night when I pay for my chicken and just stare at the empty.. lemonade dispensers.. Apparently having no Lemonade available with those delicious Chicken Strips is like having Ying and no Yang; Jordan and no Pippen; Tom Brady and no Bill Belichick; Thunder and no Lightning! You get the point. Its like going to Olive Garden and they ran out of bread sticks! Main point: If youre going to be open until 11PM, then you better be prepared to offer your full suite of service or if youre going to be complacent and want to start cleaning up "early", then at least have a sign up at the order window stating, "No Lemonade or Tea after 9PM"... So I can do the following. Drive next door to Wendys and order their lemonade.. since Canes wont offer their amazing, delicious lemonade to the public after certain hours. Hell.. I think Ill just take my $14-24 I spend 3-4 times a week here else where. I thought maybe it was a fluke from the Blaine city wide water issue-but its just lazyness and lack of service. I was a very loyal customer giving high praise to the chicken and lemonade... Now, if someone asks.. Ill tell them BYOB for sure, and their chicken is still great. Save your $2 on a beverage and go to Wendys for their lemonade haha.

I have been eating Raising Canes for awhile on now. Well after last night that maybe my familys last visit. We got there after 8 last night and ordered and it took close to 20 minutes to get our food and that was just the start. When we got our food it was in to go containers and bagged up for us to go when I had asked for it to dine in (even said it on the receipt). I was told that the were out of serving baskets so they were putting everything in to go containers (dishwasher broken?) Then I when we went to get ketchup and they were out. So we went to eat and our chicken and it smelled like it was burnt or something. When we went to eat it it was terrible tasting. I went to talk to the manager to talked to him. It seemed like I was an inconvenience to to him. He said that they were busy and the fryers were over worked and they were recycling the oil and he would make me new ones for me and walked away. I then asked if he wanted my name and he said yes. So when we got the new chicken (after the recycled oil) they smelled and tasted just like the first ones.( you would think the manager would have made sure they were ok before sending them out because of my complaint guess not) So we just ended up leaving and going some place else to eat and had just wasted $33.11 at Raising Canes. Like I said this may be the last visit here and will be letting other know also. I also felt like the manager did not really care because they were so busy.

Its raising canes, what more can I say? Other than that if you havent had it and are a fan of chicken that you should stop reading and go get some chicken from canes! Its made by people so its not perfect every time but the frequency of issues isnt high and when there are issues its usually small and fixable if you want to bother. They aim to please and if something isnt to your liking they will try and make it right. Some of the tips and tricks go you can usually substitute any of the coleslaw, fries, sauce, bread with each other so if you rather not have the slaw you can get an extra sauce with out being charged extra. That brings up another thing, even if you arent much of a sauce person I still recommend you try the chicken with the canes sauce, its really a great combination of flavors and honestly makes my mouth water just thinking about it, I would say that the majority of people who have tried it would agree its worth it.

I went there for the first time. Clean, friendly, fast service, although I was not there during a rush. Menu is very limited. Coleslaw, fries, & Texas toast were... Meh at best. Everything including the fingers were bland with little to no seasoning. Fries were almost soggy. Bread only toasted and buttered on 1 side, and lacking flavor. Coleslaw OK at best. Chicken fingers bland AF, but the quality of the finger is phenomenal. Tender, juicy, & crispy. I think they rely on the Canes Sauce for their punch of flavor, but Im not much of a sauce guy, so I had to salt & pepper them heavily for some flavor. Not my cup of tea.

Honestly, I think people are so amazed by fresh food now adays that even a chicken tender impresses them. I love the concept, I think they taste pretty good. The toast is a nice touch. Problem I have here is that when it comes down to it: the place just sells over priced fresh chicken tenders. The service is alright, product is good; but despite the advantages of a simple menu, this menu is just not enough. I dont think the price of the tenders is justified. At least for me it isnt.

Great food. If you just love southern food but cant bear the expense to visit good ole Louisiana this place is the next best thing to eat food here. If you love fried chicken, simple menu options and of course the canes sauce this is the place to go and eat. Definitely recommend getting the Caniac combo since this is what my boyfriends favorite choice to get every time he goes. I think secretly if it was up to him he will eat here every week on date night.

I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. The dinning area was dirty, the cashiers had really bad attitudes. While standing in line a gentleman advised this is not what I ordered and the girl at the counter got an attitude and rolled her eyes at him. When they finally decided to clean the dinning area, (the cashier) started slamming chairs around and actually startled me.The one and only good thing I can say about this place was the food was good.
