I ignored this place for years. I assumed this little joint located in the strip mall adjacent to a pet food store and Leos coney island, was another "#5 combo with fried rice and a spring roll" places. Man, was I missing out.. First of all, the owner/chef is right off the shores of Thailand and, after several visits you find out her husband is a veteran. Reason #1 to support this local small business. She is very, very picky, so picky that she generally wont let anyone else cook. Everything is made very fresh while you wait a very long time. Ive gone in at 4:45 on a Friday and had my meal within 1/2 hour ish. 6pm or later? Forget it. Ive waited 2 hours for food, and I dont care. Its that.damn.good. CD11(catfish curry) is only available at the dinner service time and is worth every noise my stomach makes waiting for it. This place is tiny! So damn tiny Im amazed it hasnt occurred to any of the impatient previous posters that there is probably very limited space in which to hold pre-prepped items so that is why stuff is always made to order. And you have to build a curry. Its not coming out of a carton from Gordons Foodservice. Love goes into it. Its definitely not a place Id take small children or my whole family to, but it is a great place for date night, a business meeting, or place to meet up with friends and actually engage in each other for an hour and a half or so while you wait.

I have eaten Thai food in tons of Thai places. I have not eaten at one that had better food. I usually get the same 2 or 3 dishes, all were fantastic each time. Simply the Best! ....But..... what you are reading about slow in these reviews.. is 100% true. The service is so slow, its almost comical. If you go to the place thinking it will take forever and are prepaired for it.... think again. It is so slow, your idea of slow will be changed for the worse. My wife and I have eaten inside a half dozen times. Other then the off hours, food generally took over an hour to get to our table. If you go during the peak, during dinner time.. Good luck if you get your food within an hour and a half. Now, when you order carry out... ugh... you aint heard nothing yet. We have had order times as long as over 3 hours. I mean cmon. If business is that busy, hire more cooks! We only eat there on occasion now, which is a shame. 1 or 2 times a year. If that horrendous serve time was normal, wed eat there weekly. So 5 stars for food. and 1 star for the wait. In my opinion, worth trying. But try ordering at lunch time for your dinner. (Im not being sarcastic) Best bet would be order around noon and say "I want to pick this up at 6" or something like that.

Did an order for my crew, three orders were wrong. No biggie usually. Called management regarding the issues with the order and they told me everything was correct. I kept telling them they gave me three extra orders of chicken pad thai instead of the three items missing. Usually we would make due but unfortunately, all orders missing were for two vegetarians and a no-carb dieter. On top of all that, one of the vegetarians is apart of a union that has meal penalties if they dont eat a hot meal every six hours. I explain all of this to the owner Cole. I ask him how he was going to make this up to me and continued to be wildy disparaging and rude on the phone. Granted I understand the kitchen was closed but this was a $290 order and I was facing a MASSIVE meal penalty. The owner Cole kept telling me his cooks confirmed 26 orders but I kept telling him I had extra meals. I even offered to drive up and trade the extra meals. Oh also all the noodles were overcooked and this is the second time an order was wrong from Siam Fusion. Last time they corrected the order no problem. We will not be buying any more food from this place again. I highly look forward to meeting the owner Cole in person this Thursday.

Sorry to hear some had some bad experiences here. My wife and I have been coming here for three years. Our recent visits of say the last three I have noticed that the portions of the food have been decreasing. Now let me say we were always happy to wait any amount of time to enjoy there always fresh and delicious menu items. However having smaller portions (that may be satisfying to a newbie) served to us three times in a row seems like it might be the new norm there. The service for the most part has been good but recently it is slow because if I understand it right the owner being Tai is the only cook, maybe her hubby is as well either way service is suffering because they are under staffed in the kitchen. Also the last time I was there the waitress was running. I dont like that. We didnt get a additional item we ordered in our plate and they took the charge for that item off the last time we were there. So thats all I can say. If you want fresh food that is VERY tasty please go to Siam Fusion. I hope your experience will be a great one.

This place has great food and they make everything fresh right there... But be prepared to wait an obnoxious amount of time. We stopped ordering from there because it just takes too long. I called to order on our way home from out of town one night. We were an hour away at 5pm and were told our order would be ready for pick up at 7:45... For take out?! Numerous other attempts for take out have given us wait times between 1-2 hours, during both week days and weekends. We went for sit down at the restaurant one night thinking it may be quicker and it took well over an hour to wait for our food after ordering. The staff have told me the wait time is because they have a small kitchen and everything is made fresh- nothing is pre-prepped or packaged. If you dont care about waiting, its very good Thai food and worth trying, but for me Ive found another place nearby thats just as good and with a much shorter wait time.

As far as businesses go these days, customer service should be important. However on 3 occasions when I have called for a carry out, they seem completely ANNOYED. Each time the person on the phone has to ask the cook if they can do a carry out. Mind you each of the three times it has been for ONE entree. I called last night and asked why it is such an issue and they told me it is because everything is cooked to order. The restaraunt is not that big. Dont do carry out if you are going to be so annoyed by it. This is not a gourmet restaraunt. They better be careful or they will find themselves closing down. I did have their food once and the portion was good, but the noodles overcooked. I found a great Thai restaraunt down on Pontiac Lake Road with much nicer service AND the food is superb.
