Great variety of meals. Loved the Grilled Cheese with Lobster, served with Lobster Bisque. Usually they have it most Fridays. Dishes are not just ordinary deli food. They are pleasing to the palate and the eye. Great Crêpes, Omelettes, and Fish and Chips. Each table they bring a bowl of delicious, pickles to munch on. My granddaughter loves them, bring them home for her if I dont eat them myself. Servers are friendly and helpful in trying to pick from the many selections. Recommend especially if your looking for something new and different in dining out. I gave it 5 stars kept reverting back to one even when I edited review.

When my boyfriend and I walked into Nu NY Deli we were greeted with dirty looks, not just from the customers but from the wait staff too because we were black. My boyfriend and I were so uncomfortable we didnt even stay to try the food, we just left. I called to complain to a manager and they just didnt care. she made me feel like I was lying and making it up, telling me no one would do that here and they dont have waitstaff like that. You waitstaff didnt want me and my black boyfriend eating in your restaurant and you should be ashamed.

Their ranch is to die for (its homemade). Weve been going to the deli for the past 5 years; sometimes the food isnt perfect, but overall the food is excellent. Chef James tries to mix up the specials, which is always nice. The waitstaff, and whether or not you like them, purely depends on personal preferences, though theyre very chatty and kind (and seeing as my family are regulars, we have different relationships with the staff) overall.

I used to live in Michigan and went to NY Deli whenever I could, but have been living in Florida for the last 5 years. My daughters still live in Sterling Heights and whenever I come to visit them its one of the place I make sure to go to. The rye bread and corned beef is always fresh and they give you way more then enough.

The food is delicious! EVERYTIME I go in and order my food the food is done in a reasonable time and the staff is very nice to the costumers, but they dont treat their coworkers with respect I hear waitresses yelling at other waitresses who wants to hear that when they are trying to eat?

Have eaten here a few times. Every waitress has been very nice and gets to you as soon as they can. Pickles are an awesome snack while waiting for your food. I can never finish everything. There is quantity and quality.
