I convinced myself any panda is a 5 star for me since they manage to land comfortably between the two most important things about eating out. Most restaurants can only do one or the other. Panda manages to offer both fast and quality food at the same time. Not an impossible thing to achieve, but impressive nonetheless. This panda has probably been the first one Ive visited than managed to deceive me though. The food is there, but thats all I feel like I can say about it. The trick with this panda is they seem to sacrifice quality with how busy they are. If theyre not busy, they leave their food out to decay. Giving it the benefit of the doubt, I understand this is a new location, so they might not have a formula yet for how much food they should be producing depending on the day and time, but a shelf life would both hurt them financially and benefit them through quality. Clearly they are willing to sacrifice quality. Again, huge fan of panda express but this one specifically needs to come with some advice. Only come when theyre busy. Look at their popularity times and decide based on that. Only then will it feel 4-5 star. Otherwise, expect 2 or 3

Always so rude over the phone. Andrea tells me to order through their app because they dont take orders over the phone. 2p mins on the app, only to find out after inputting 5 different meals that it deletes the previous entry. So I called and spoke with Andrea and she tells me that group ordering doesnt work on the app. How useless and how rude for you to tell me to do it on the app and you know it doesnt work!! Then she says its a 3rd party app, but I still cant place the order on the phone per company policy. I told her someone had to fix something. Either fix the app or take orders on the phone. I told her she could run my credit card and Andrea said she needs a picture ID. But on the app, you dont use a picture ID so whats the difference? The difference is lazy employees. Their food is so-so, their price is so high for the low quality of food. The only good thing is they offer low calorie meals. But this location is always sssuuupppeeerrr slow when you go in. Takes forever even for 2 meals. Plenty of other places to choose from around there.

This was my 1st time at this location but it was AWFUL!!! I would prefer to spend my money at PF Changs, Wongs Garden.......anywhere but here! First the online menu is NOT the same as to whats being offered in the store. I wanted Fire Cracker Chicken but they didnt have so I had to get Pineapple Chicken. The chicken was GROSS little dried out frozen type nuggets as big as your thumb nail covered in some sauce. There was NO white chicken meat anywhere to be found! The I wanted Chicken Potstickers and once again they dont have it there so I ordered Spring Rolls which tasted anything but fresh!!! I am now convinced everything they make comes in frozen and they just reheat with sauce on top. Years ago when I first went to panda Express out west , they used better quality foods but not anymore! There are too many better places out there for me to EVER go back!!!

Great, fresh Chinese food to go! I grew up in California where PE is based, so I was excited to see this chain here in Michigan. If youre vegetarian, you wont find many vegetarian options in this region, although plentiful on the west coast (like the delicious tofu and eggplant sauté). Nonetheless, I find this location easy to access /park off of Rochester Road. They dont freeze their vegetables, so everything is made fresh. I think their portions are generous and youll find calories listed if youre watching your diet. The servers are attentive and efficient when putting together your plate. There isnt much seating but if youre willing, you can sit at a community table. I prefer Panda Express over the mom and pop cheap Chinese to go options here in metro Detroit because Panda Express is a chain with consistency in flavor and preparation standards.

Got there at 830 pm tonight and they had closed down the grill!! They had thrown out the cooking oil was what I was told and were in the process of cleaning the kitchen!! They would not make anything fresh, my choice were limited to what out. No veggies, no firecracker chicken. Crazy that I felt like I was paying for leftovers!! There was still a half hour left of business. Place needs to have a better staff. No customer service and no manager to make things happen, just a bunch of kids that were ready to go home for the night. They were throwing cleaning fluid around and playing around with no consideration to customers that were looking to purchase food. This is the SECOND time this has happened. They have lost my business for sure!!

I visit this place about 3 times a month after week-end errands. Very conveniently located.Yes the food does not reach the higher standards of a family owned chinese restaurant but clearly this is not the main purpose of the west coast born franchise. You get freshly cooked food made of healthier than American-average-ingredients plated in seconds at a reasonable price. Hardly any other fast food hut can beat this. This location has generous indoor and and a more limited outdoor seating which is nice in summer. Highly recommend for quick stop.

Decent portions, the food was really good except the rice was a bit bland but i would rather it be more bland that over spiced. Also the menu says 2 entrees and 1 side for a listed price. So i got the coconut shrimp and orange chicken (both were tasty) but they charged me almost 2$ more for getting shrimp then only got 6 pieces. I dont really understand why it costs more but whatever i guess next time ill just order something else instead.

I wont bother rating the food here in comparison to typical mom and pop Chinese restaurant. If you wanted the classic concept of American Cantonese Chinese you should go to one of those. Panda Express is the Hungry Howies of Chinese food, sometimes it is EXACTLY what you needed! The location is new and fresh. They food is prepared as expected for the chain, and the staff is always friendly. Good location!

Food is terrible!! Also they try to be so fast that you have to wait at the register forever to get rang up. By the time you sit your food is cold. You dont know what the options are and they make you feel so rushed. The workers are so rude and unsanitary. Ive tried it twice thinking I would have different service.... no it was no different. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

Great Panda location. Very clean and quick. Friendly staff. Some items seem to sit out for a little too long, and the orange chicken can be burnt at times, but its been much better recently. May have just been a specific cook that was the issue. Easy to miss location from the road, but its never super busy, so its a nice in and out restaurant when you need it.

The issue that I run into in this location more often than other Panda locations is availability. Often, it seems like there waiting on half the dishes, regardless of if its busy or not. And its not just around closing, as this happens at lunch or 2 hours before closing. Regardless, the food is still Panda. And thats delicious.
