I used to love Baskin Robbins. I dont know if they are under new ownership or what. BUT I now go to either the Dairy King here in Plymouth, or the Merry-Go-Round. I will NEVER go to Baskin Robbins again. I currently pay $4.25 for a sundae at Dairy King. They call it a single scoop sundae. It is AT LEAST 2 scoops and comes topped with raspberries, whipped cream and nuts. I recently paid $3+ for a single scoop in a cup at Baskin Robbins (no fruit, whipped cream, or anything else) and that scoop was not even half of what I get at Dairy King. Even my little ice cream scooper at home would have provided a larger scoop than I got there. Wayyyyyy too expensive for incredibly little value.

They are always out of something. Every. Single. Time. I understand being out of certain flavors, but not whipped cream or nuts or cherries. Tonight was the last straw. Youd think if theyre out of a basic topping AGAIN that theyd make up for it with a little extra sauce or something, but no. They must have been nearly out of caramel sauce because there was just a small spoonful of caramel sauce. Basically it ended up being a bowl of vanilla ice cream with whipped cream, nuts , and a tiny bit of caramel sauce (out of cherries this time). And the ice cream was more "ice" than "cream". There are too many GOOD ice cream places around to waste time in this substandard place.

This place brings back memories of when I was a kid. The prices are a little bit high but the ice cream is always fresh and good and the employees are always helpful.
