Am I missing something? Have been here a couple of times and was not impressed. 1st time I had a French Dip with French Onion Soup instead of au jus and found 3 little pieces of bone chips in it. I waited until we were ready to leave so the food server could make the chef aware and so they didnt assume someone was trying to get free food. She argued with me that it couldnt have been bone chips because they slice the meat fresh there! Ok Today I asked if the fish was fresh because if a place doesnt sell much of it, it can be sitting around for awhile. She assured me it was fresh and it wasnt. It smelled very fishy and it was yellow when I cut into it instead of the white cod I am use to seeing. Maybe because the place was quite dead it explains why the fish was old. Plus the man who seated me was quite rude. Not friendly at all. As a matter of fact, he never said a word. Just looked at me until I said how many then he turned and walked to a booth and set the menu down. Not one word. I usually give a place 3 tries but, I am thinking because of their prices, I may skip another try. BTW........the manager never came out to ask why I didnt care for the food.........maybe the server never told them.

Wow, Talk about Rude! My wife and I were out for an anniversary evening, we had just seen a theatre play and being late decided to stop in for a quick bite and maybe a drink. When we walked in we made eye contact with a waitress who didnt say a word but gestured to the greeter/hostess who seemed surprised that we were there, she paused for a minute and then asked us if we were interested in bar seats, when I said "no" she looked very disappointed and looking at another waitress she said "seat them anywhere"... " I guess" So I asked her " is it going to be a problem?" instead of re-assuring me that we came in well before business hours closed and saying something like "no Sir, Im sorry, let us make you feel at home" Her reply was ... "I dont think so... it shoulnt be". First and last time we will ever step foot in this place. Maybe when they hire competent employees who know how to speak to and treat people. Im retired Army, I know what its like to be treated rude and unwelcomed, the people here know exactly how to ruin an evening!

I only give 2 stars for the friendly service but sorry to say that the food was very bad! The chicken dumpling soup was a thick blob of something which did not look or taste anything like it! The clam chowder soup my partner ordered did have a strange taste and was nothing even close to its name! The calamari were o.k. but on the tougher side and the main dishes were awful and tasteless. So if it wasnt for the friendly service i would not give more than 1/2 a star. Also, the beer prices are on the high side.

The greeting wasnt great, we came in and the manager took care of us, I asked for a booth (wasnt busy) there was plenty but the manager said to me in a rude way that he couldnt because there wasnt space for a highchair at the end of the table. There was one where he could of sat us with no problem. Server gave us great service, the food was good. Also I had a turtle cheesecake and had a hair on it. I would go again for the food, I just sure hope that we dont get seated by that person again, he was very rude.

Great food, great value great service. They continue to have supper pizza and burgers yet good steaks and seafood. Today had lobster tails as special of the day, wedge salad and shrimp plate. Now wedge salad doesnt sound like special but the presentation, laid out across a plate evenly so the toppings can be extra plentiful and more evenly applied is special. Eating out as much as I must you become picky but this is my present go to place. Recommend.

Average food, over priced for the food quality. The bartender was the nicest person I talked to, I was shocked when the manager came over and demanded to know why I didnt like the pizza I sent back. I told her it was too done on the bottom, and she just said sorry in a nasty tone.. she was rude and disrespectful. I hope no one had the same experience as I did.

Diverse menu - and diverse range of quality in there. A favorite of my extended family - sadly for me I do not like to eat there anymore - call it overfamiliarity with the menu. Pizza is good. Great beer selection, and service here has been the one thing that is always good when I have been there. Great for sporting events.

We love this place! It is one of the better restaurants in Oxford and any of the 1 star reviews on here are either fabrications or exaggerations. I would and have recommended this restaurant to family and friends. It is a nice atmosphere and great food! Try it and you wont regret it.

Good variety on the menu with good specials. Service was good, hostesses were fun and wait was minimal for the day and time. Food was very good. Bert specials were a bonus. Overall good food, good service, good value. Recommended.

The specials here are special. They have some unique dishes for the specials. Overall the food is average and sometimes better than average. But only go here when its not busy since the staff cant handle it sometimes.

My family loves this place! Their food is good and they have a small selection of excellent craft beers. Lots of big TVs make sure you do not miss sports games. It has a very artistic atmosphere, almost swanky.
