I eat at restaurants all over the country. I test them with sample dish. The good. Was extremely fast. Everything tasted fresh, the meat and the vegetables. The vegetables where cooked crisp . The rice wasnt oily. The place has nice sit in area. The bad. The meat tasted like it was boiled. The only in the dish besides the basic flavor of an ingredient was salt. The included duck sauce container poured out like water. I know most sauces use an artificial thickener , but still. I had to toss this tasteless, salty, bland thing. Of this is the best in lake orion I dont want to try mediocre. Ive had off tasting meat dishes that where better.

Crab Rangoon was great! That is the only nice thing I have to say about this restaurant. I ordered a my meal without mushrooms, but they did not withhold them. When we called to complain they did not make it right; she simply stated that they must not have heard that when the order was placed. My husbands food lacked flavor; in fact, he went to anther chinese restaurant to get a different meal for both of us. I will not go back to this restaurant. The service is subpar at best and apart from the crab rangoon the rest of the food was terrible.

I am new to the Lake Orion area and my real estate agent highly recommended this place. I was very disappointed in the sweet and sour chicken that I ordered. The general taos chicken that my husband ordered wasnt even spicy and came with literally one piece of broccoli. The fried rice tasted like white rice with some soy sauce poured on it for color and the chicken lacked in flavor and salt and tasted extemely oily. Needless to say I will not be coming back.

We usually choose takeout, when we eat here, and while the food is good, I tend to prefer the Waterford location (though my wife is the opposite). I find the sweet and sour sauce is usually a little less sweet at this location. The last time we visited, we chose to eat in. The staff is very friendly, and provide great service. The interior needs some updating though. Most of the bench seating bottoms are torn/peeling (leather).

General Tsos chicken was good, though I forgot to order it extra hot - lightly breaded, plenty of chicken, not too saucy. Didnt care for their egg rolls, which tasted too strongly of bean sprouts and salt, but their great hot mustard (very vinegary) helped me get them down. Fast, friendly service - I was in and out in 10 minutes on a Saturday afternoon. Id go back and get soup instead of egg rolls next time.

This really is the best Chinese food in the area by far. The sweet and sour chicken is delicious, and its decent quality meat. Portion size is just right, and the staff was friendly. Im so glad I finally stumbled across this place. I just wish I had sooner. Its just head and shoulders above the rest of the places around here.

Decent Chinese food, they are super fast and friendly which is really convenient. Can run in there and grab some food to go and not have to wait long at all. There is a full dining room and you get more options when you dine in. Have been here a bunch when i wanted Chinese style food. Very reliable and has always satisfied.

Nice place and fast service, but my food tasted the same as any other chain Ive been to. I got sesame chicken and it looked delicious, but it was a bit dry and tendony. I was quite disappointed considering the great reviews it got. Wouldnt go out of my way to go here, but would go again.

My food was dry and hard...Very disappointed...ordered food, picked it up and was over charged, when I called and asked about it, I was told theres nothing they can do, asked for a manager only for her to tell me the same thing...wont be spending my time or money here again

Always good Chinese food! Order is always correct and staff is helpful. I did try their Pad Se Ew once and was disappointed but in their defense they are a Chinese restaurant. Spring rolls are decent though.

Food and service are top notch here. Everything is made from scratch and so fresh! Dont forget Guernsey ice cream for dessert. Great experiences everytime Ive eaten here, and Ive eaten here A LOT.
