I have ordered (delivery) lunch from Skeetown several times, and havent been impressed. Decided Id take one final chance on them today and it has been the straw that broke the camels back. Several of us pooled to make one big delivery order, called it in at 11:19 AM, and it was JUST delivered at 1:40PM. We were told when we placed the order that theyll "get it out as soon as its done"...I know we had a big order (10 people), but 2+ hours to make and deliver food is unacceptable. Talked to the manager about it, and he was a spineless jellyfish..."I cant authorize giving any money back, but Ill put you in the book so next time you order maybe we can do something for you." Sorry dude, there wont be a next time.

Really good food, close to terrible service. The tacos were some of the best I have ever had and their chicken tenders were delicious. They had a variety of amazing sauces and we also requested a side of hot sauce and mayo. When we received our bill we were charged a 50 cent fee for every single sauce, even the side of mayo and hot sauce. I understand charging for sauces outside of one for the tenders but 50 cents for mayo and hot sauce? Thats absurd and we shouldve been notified of the upcharge. The service was somewhat friendly but almost nonexistent. I will return but I cant guarantee my tip will always be the best.

Ive given Skeetown three chances, now Im done. The food is delish, but the horrible customer service and wait time overshadow the food. The waitress was rude and the manager didnt help the situation at all and actually made it worse. I ordered guacamole and after and hour wait and questioning when it was coming, I still never got it. We waited over an hour and a half, only half the partys food came out. I ordered a simple tostada, never got it. Skeetown lost a number of patrons yesterday, all of which are fairly well connected in this city. None of which mind letting others know of our HORRIBLE experience.

Fun place, but not for large groups. We waited over an hour for our dinner, with a group of 13, the staff kept our drinks coming, checked on us frequently, kept chips and salsa full....The steaks were great, 12 oz rib eye with bourbon sauce.. great, appetizers awesome, service good. Large portions, good value. Bathrooms clean. Small outdoor seating area doubles as smoking section. Can be loud, if youre looking for quiet dining, this isnt your place.

Very impressed with the professionalism of the staff and the presentation of the food! They had great variety and food that everyone at our table wanted (we have one picky eater). This is a step up from bar foods that I have had in the past when it comes to taste, freshness, presentation and originality. The only thing I didnt care for were the refried beans and the Spanish rice. Just not my kind of beans and rice.

Great food, but TERRIBLE service. We waited 15 minutes just to get a server to take our drink order. We then waited another 45 or so minutes for food while we watched other customers who arrived after us eat their meals. When we asked the waitress about our food, she said shed get the manager, and she proceeded to go stand in the corner and chat with the other waitresses. Save some time and go somewhere else.

I went for Tacos 2 weeks in a row and had the worst service EVER!!! I ordered Vegitarian tacos ( beans and veggies on a shell) when my friends ordered STEAK tacos and I was served 45 minutes after everyone else had food.. BOTH visits we waited, I would think on TACO nite they would be prepared for a buzy nite... How hard is it to make a taco with beans and veggies??? I will not go back...

First time here, well since the early "70s" when it was Jennys! The service was awesome...Felicia was welcoming, friendly and Jonny on the spot! I cant say enough about the mushroom Swiss burger. Literally the best Ive ever had anywhere... flavorful, juicy and cooked to perfection. I dont know what they cook the mushrooms in but please dont ever change it, absolutely delicious!

Do not sleep on this amazing food! I could go on for days about the food here, you cant go wrong. I must warn, service tends to be slow in my experience but Ive been in the food industry and I understand things happen. It has occurred enough for me to note it and not go there if Im super hungry that moment and dont want to wait. Still awesome food and entertainment.

This place has some of the best food in Muskegon. Unfortunately it takes to long for the food to arrive. The service has improved, but has to get better to keep people coming. We used to eat here a couple times a month. But now its once every couple months. They now only give you 1 basket of chips and salsa per table. If you have a large party or by yourself.

Food is fantastic! But, as the other reviews show the service could use some improvement. Its hard to keep buying beer and giving you my money if you dont come around to ask if I want another. I highly recommend trying the philly cheesesteak, burgers, roadkill and the huge chicken ocho burrito. Portions are huge so be warned you may need a long nap after dinner!

Best bar food in town without a question. They actually use real avoacados in the guac which, is saying something for muskegon. The Staff is accommodating and the tall bartender is fun to chat with and is very excited about the food. Not sure the steak is 9 best in state but is definitely worth it. The kitchen keeps it real ! My buddy even bought hot sauce

Great service great staff, great food! Great bands. If you have a complaint about this place it might just be you. Im well connected and I tell all my people to come here. Well any whiner they lose will be replaced by well connected money spending great tipping folks. Last but not least great safe parking. And I dont even drink.

The food is the kind of food where you put the first bite in your mouth and then make some sort of inhuman moaning noise and are unable to speak about anything other than how good that food is untill the next week. Then you go back the next week because you cant stop thinking about it, and the process begins again!

Every time Ive visited, Ive had wonderful service. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The food is so tasty and some of the best food in Muskegon. This is definitely a place to go whether youre just visiting or live in the area. They also deliver! Which is a plus for me!

I used to love this place. Its great that they updated things, and the food is good, but they dont wear gloves or hats inn the kitchen, Ive never had good service, you cant really tell who is who in there. It always looks so unorganized, and the wait time is ridiculous

Ordered the tacos Wasnt that impressed. The taco shells were so fried they were more chewy than crunchy and pretty inedible. Beef tacos lacked flavor completely. Not sure if Im missing something, but this was really underwhelming. Service was good, drinks were cheap.
