Great food, wine, and atmosphere. The waiter we had was very informative about the food but he didnt listen well and he was totally awful, was kinda distracted and like he Owned the place. We felt disrespected. We drove from Dayton Ohio for a special item they have in the menu and when we arrived there we were surprised that they didnt have that item that we wanted although it was on the menu. Service was slow, my wife got her salad 20 minutes after mine, one waiter for the house will not cut it if they want to make it in this business.... It was very disappointing but overall we enjoyed our visit to ciao by villagio because we were hungry and celebrating our anniversary by spending the night at Sybsris. Restrooms need an update, the door lock is hard to operate. Make sure you call first to confirm that they have the food you want. The chef did great job the food was very delicious.

What an incredible place! I went in expecting good food, hearing from friends and family how wonderful it was. But I was blown away with how great the atmosphere and service was. Tim was our waitor, and he was excellent! The best waitor I have had in ages! I am also very picky when it comes to food and drinks; however, this menu had a wide variety of food and drinks that were prepared excellently. Tim was able to give us all the feedback on the dishes, as well as the drinks. He was extremely helpful with the menu. I had a fabulous steak, and their lemon drop is delicious! This restaurant is going to become a regular! A great place for a date night! I would highly recommend going to this restaurant because of the service, food, and atmosphere.

Ordered calamari to go and it took more than 30 min. I even stopped at a different restaurant first to get a specific salad my wife wanted. By the time I got to Il Villaggio and told the bartender I was there to pick up my order, he said it was almost ready and it took another 10 min! I used to work in restaurants and our calimari never took more than 10 min to make. My guess is that they didnt make my order when I called and just lies when I got there. The calaimari was good, though. The feel of the place was kind of cold with just a bunch of basic tables. Not really impressed. Ill be sticking with Cobblestone Grill, Patricks Kitchen or driving out of Zionsville in the future.

I lived in Italy for a short while and I dont think you can get anything closer to authentic italian food in Indiana than at Villaggio. Plus, you get the entire italian dining experience as well with the friendly staff and classy feel. It is located in a small town outside of Indy with a downtown area with unique mom & pop restaurants and shops. You will want to take their cooking classes once you have tried their food. Buon appetito!

My job has me traveling to 2-3 different cities a week and needless to say I eat out a lot. As a local Zionsville resident, I can attest Villaggio is one of the best, friendliest dining experiences you can get anywhere. My "go to dish" is the risotto with whatever ingredients are in it that particular night. A homerun every time.
