Terrible service. Took waitress 20 min to come to our table for drink orders. No friendly hello or apology for the wait. We were there at 4:00 so it wasnt busy. My 6yr old son was getting antsy after about waiting half hour for cheque and to go container. It Was beginning to feel like the Twilight Zone. After spending over an hour at the restaurant with a majority of that waiting on our waitress I was over it. The waitressed rudely asked me what was wrong with me. Her attitude towards me at the end caught me off guard. Thats is when I snapped back at her and told her because of her rude attitude I wasnt leaving her a tip. She just gave me a smirk. The food was good but nothing special the customer service is what will keep me from returning.

The food is good, but the service has went straight out the window. Nobody was around, ran out of everything all the time, never got refills, and everyone there seems to have an attitude like you are "bothering" them when you request something. I have been here multiple times, just hoping it would get better, but it never has. I am going to stop going. Also- They charged my debit card a separate and extra $10 transaction 2 days after the service!

I love their food, great (free) chips and salsa. I always get one of 2 things when I go 1. Enchilada Super Rancheros ( I always replace the bean with an extra cheese, do it you wont regret it) or 2. ACP - Arroz con Polio which is of course rice with chicken, they give you a hefty amount of chicken mixed with their delicious white cheese all for like $7.00. They have a bar too and I know they have plenty of drink specials throughout the week.

Used to go weekly, until recently when the service went downhill. Took forever to get drinks, even water, the waiter wasnt ever around, the food was cold and they gave us lunch portions for dinner, then charged for dinner. Given the wrong bill, then our bill was wrong, and they refused to correct it. Ill be finding another Mexican restaurant to attend in Kokomo from now on!!

After coming to Kokomo for about 3 years I finally came to "El Arriero" and I was NOT disappointed. on the contrary it is the most authentic Mexican restaurant in town and probably in the 50-100 mile radius. The food is delicious service is excellent and decor is very pleasant. Dont let the location fool you, this restaurant is one of Kokomos hidden secrets.

i have been eating at this place since they openned .their quality has went down hill .the rice and beans i got as side dishes were cold and dry looked like it was cooked days ago.my two steak tacos were awful the meat was dry and tough with no flavor also cold .iwont be taking anyone to eat here again

I like this place. But there are better in town. Food is good, but the building isnt as clean as another Mexican place in town. The servers arent as friendly as the servers at the other Mexican establishment Im thinking of but wont say.

My family and I have been going to El Arriero for over 14 years and it has kept the same great food the entire time. We get the tomatillo salsa everytime we come in and it is always perfect. Great environment for a family outing.
