My first experience at their new location and I was shocked! We have been frequent customers over the last few years and we have always had the freshest and best tasting food. We left happy and satisifed! THAT WAS AT THE OLD LOCATION..... This past saturday we dined at their new location. It was NOT an awesome experience, I dont know if we will go back. To begin, our server was was uninterested in her job, she rushed through each interaction and the restuarant was almost empty.... Now my husband ordered the tilapia tacos, he was not asked his tortilla preference. His meal came out cold (this is a fried fish taco) and on dry corn tortilla. She did not ask if his meal was to his liking, and so we had to flag down the other waitress to have the order corrected. The meal was "corrected" and sent back still cold. May I also mention they have reduced the filling inside the taco, they were on the Very Light side of being filled. I ordered a Torta Estada extra cilantro. They did not include the extra cilanto, and did not toast the bread! It was also apparent they are using a different bread that is significantly smaller and in my opinion not as appealing as the previous sandwich had. My children ordered off the kids menu at 4.50 / each ...my son left hungry and we stopped elsewhere to satisfy him. My daughter seemed happy with her meal. I am just plain disappointed, I loved this place. Not anymore, they are sacrificing quality and it is highly apparent!

This was honestly the worst Mexican restaurant experience I have ever had. Our meal started with slow service, though I assumed that was due to them working through kinks as they had just opened the new location. I ordered a strawberry daiquiri and it clearly had no alcohol in it. I thought that it may have been a virgin and I just didnt know, but I was asked to show my id. Im not sure if they forgot to put it in, or if they were being intentionally dishonest about it. I ordered chips and cheese for an appetizer. It came out at the same time as my food and was literally just chips on a plate, sprinkled with Kraft Mexican style shredded cheese and melted. Every other Mexican restaurant I have ever been to the chips and cheese is a bowl of queso. They really should warn people of what that is before they pay $3.99 for it. My neice and nephew got quesadillas from the kids menu and they must have grilled it cheese side down because the cheese was unrecognizable. I wish that any of this was exaggerated. I complained a bit about the chips and cheese (which took a lot because I have never complained at a restaurant before in my life) and nothing was done about it. This terrible meal ended with us waiting (as we had for everything so far) for at least 10 minutes for our bills to get picked up and brought back for us to sign. Seriously dont waste your time or money at this awful place.

Servers dont know anything about customer service. Not once asked how our meal was or If there was anything we needed or that she could get us. The chicken quesadilla tasted like the chicken came out a Tyson bag. Only seasoned with pepper! I mean honestly I think I could pick up a homeless person put them in a kitchen with chicken and tortillas and he could make a better quessadilla. There was barely any chicken in it. the tortilla was not grilled for any longer than 15 seconds Max. Very disappointed. They need to work on there business. Also tv is in Spanish. Customers speak English. I respect Mexican culture and have nothing against foreign language but what is the tv for? your customers or your employees? Your employees dont need to watch tv while they are working. They already seem to be distracted enough. I really want them to do good and be successful but this isnt the way

I have had much, much better Mexican food. The refried beans were bland. The fajitas were tiny morsels cooked to a crisp, not the juicy strips you encounter at other restaurants. There were 2 dead flies on the windowsill next to our booth. I dont know if they actually adhere to this, but their menu states the first bowl of chips are complimentary and the rest you have to pay for - something Ive never encountered before. If thats the case, its incredibly stingy. Maybe its not fair to rate this restaurant compared to what bigger cities offer, but there is better out there.

WORST Mexican restaurant Ive ever been to. Chips and cheese is chips (which seemed store-bought) and shredded cheese melted on top. No queso to dip in like every other Mexican restaurant on the planet. Also, they cooked the quesadilla CHEESE SIDE DOWN! So it was a tortilla folded in half with brown crusty cheese stuck to the inside. Awful. To top it off, the service was bad and the daiquiri tasted like it had no alcohol in it. Just an all around bad place. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Items ordered met my expectations, yet the customer service was below my standards;in addition,a friend of mine was unassisted other than being given chips and salsa upon first entering.. Wait staff was observed not being busy with other customers, yet she waited for service for 10 minutes before exiting without ordering..in any profession it is not good business to choose which customers need our attention..I may choose to revisit in the near future to see if any changes have been made..

My friend had a combo meal. He really liked it. I had 2 different tacos. The meat in each was dried out, tough, old. The sopapillas were just darkly fried pieces of flour tortillas and mostly burned. Supposed to be a puff pastry. I would try it again. The prices were great. The tortillas are steamed not toasted" on a grill like we get in the south. I should ask for that. Love the decor! The table covers are so smart!

I love this place. I used to live 3 blocks away, but now moved to Grand Rapids. Im only able to go every so often. Their tacos are outstanding and so are the burritos. Without a doubt, my favorite part is their red sauce. I would eat it on a napkin. So says the letter my brother wrote praising their food that is hung immediately to your left as you walk in the door.

Love the food before the move, not impressed, got the tacos last week and they tasted like s#&t, cold and bland, dont know why the change in taste just because they moved two blocks from the original restaurant, but ill never waste my money again, i would rather eat taco bell than the food here and i hate fast food, sorry but my experience with this place sucked.

Worst food and service of trip. The waitress was rude and nasty. Staff was unfriendly. Never once checked on us, brought us refills after 40 mins. Had to wait for dirty tables to be cleaned so we could seat our selves. Then had to wait more. This place will ruin there reputation. Stay away unless you are trying to experience horrible service and S H ! T food.

Having grown up in Tucson, Ive been searching out a descent Mexican restaurant in the area. This place is far better than other joints in the area. Very fresh ingredients (even lime wedges). Menu options are extensive, prices are great. Nothing truly compares within 40 miles. Highly recommend! The dinner combo plate is top notch yumminess.
