Our first visit here was very disappointing. The host seemed to have no idea what tables were available even though the restaurant was hardly busy (should have been an indicator of quality as Black Friday dinner should have been fairly good for business). The waitress was friendly and helpful. I ordered the fresh, steak fajita tacos. They were comprised of thin rubbery strips (see picture) that were difficult to eat. The waitress kindly exchanged it for the pork variation. This was ready-made, bag meat with little flavor. For dessert we ordered the fried ice cream priced at $4.99. The ice cream was about a quarter cup of disappointment. Tiny and with hardly any "fried" aspect.

The salsa was basically just thick ketchup. No spices or anything except sautéed tomatos. The queso was garlic and onion flavored. Not terrible, but definitely not Mexican. The chicken chimichanga was just boiled, shredded chicken and shredded cheese in a deep fried tortilla. No spices or texture to speak of. The refried beans were some of the worst Ive ever had. Everything was totally bland. Mexican food is really my favorite, but I was extremely disappointed with Hacienda.

Food was good but service sucked in less you drank booze , our waitress was on the ones who drank but us ones who didnt drink sat their waiting for drinks no refills of chips, or drinks , finally got drinks , slammed our food down didnt ask if we needed anything else ..will not be coming back here again my advice is if you dont drink dont sit in the bar or get the short dark haired waitress she was very rude. Or just save your money and go to cracker barrel instead.

Meh. Don ponchos is wayyy better. me and my friend try this place and they gave me a tiny bowl of beans, a few pieces of chicken and steak, and a fly got in my food. The only decent thing i got was service thats it. Turned out to be 35$ (*sigh*) overpriced. ( *note* my friend got cheese quesadillas and there wasnt even any cheese in them it was on top of them and they looked nasty and were bad. If you want quesadillas go to Applebees. That is all :)

Been here many times but every time I go lately Im dissapointed. Went with my wifes family for a birthday and we waited 45 minutes on DRINKS, another 20 minutes to place an order, then an hour and a half for the food to get there. When it did 1/2 of it was wrong or cold. We also had to walk up to the counter to ask for refills. Twice. Not a difficult family to please...just bad service.

First visit tonight and they messed up on my order. So I sit and watch my children eat and they messed up again. Im really too tired to send back again and the waitress knew that I wanted no beans and literally saw the beans. No manager came out to speak and I pay for a salad that was not satisfactory. I will not return. I just wanted to find a good Mexican restaurant in Kokomo.

We were advised to seat ourselves in the bar, only to be ignored by the bar staff. We waited for nearly half an hour, seeing no signs of a waitress to take care of us or any other guest, before we decided to show ourselves out. This is the last straw in chain of bad experiences with this particular location for us.

First, I totally disagree with the guy who said that Dons is better!!! No way!!! We now live in Shelbyville, and neither of the Mexican restaurants here come even close to Hacienda!!! It is one of the biggest things we miss about Kokomo!!! The food is ALWAYS great, and the service is pretty good too!!!

Margo is the best waitress, she is very attentive and has a great personality. The manager, Alan Ollis, is very nice and is always present to ask if everything was okay with our visit. The margaritas are perfect and the table side guac is to die for!!!!!!!!!

They had a sign posted on their door that they were closed due to a small fire and people should check Facebook for updates. Would be nice if the website was updated also since not everyone has prostituted themselves to Facebook. Hope they reopen soon.

Many birthdays two of my own celebrated here, lovely staff etiquette. Food is always surprisingly delicious! It takes a good minute for them to cook it, do not fill up on coke chips and salsa, free!

Terrible ....nachos dry, no sauce, ...salsa was tomatoes sauce, ordered white cheese for nacho, didnt help , wont be back! Margaritas were awesome but expensive ...El areio is a ton better

We go to hacienda every monday, the food is consistently good and always comes out hot. Most of waitresses are really good at service. Lindsey is my favorite waitress!!!

Salsa is terrible. Tastes like Tomato paste from the can with no flavor. Most of the other food is good especially compared with other places in Kokomo. Fun restaurant.
