Ok, i read a bad review here last week, I decided to go to The Bar anyway. Wow was i suprised by the atmosphere in this place. Good scenerie, good people, and a few flat screen tvs for sports. What else could one ask for? You could be picky and ask for good food. Aw yes the food. Fish tacos, awsesome. Sweet potato fries, beautiful and tasty. The burger my girlfriend had was excellent also. So ambience and food both get a big check. Now we all go to bars for what? Thats right drinks. I had A few beers, nothing special here. I also had a few different martinis. This is where The Bar shined, i had three drinks all different flavors and so did my girlfriend. By the way we are in walking distance from the bar so we are good. Anyway we had an awesome time.

This place is a big improvement over the bar that was previously in this location! Decor is simple but clean. The staff is quite friendly, if not very knowledgeable about beer. Sandwiches are interesting and good value for money. But the beer selection, especially the drafts, is only so-so. Hardly a GastroPub, let alone a good beer bar. Why not specialize in Michigan beers if you have limited tap space and cooler space? We have tons of great locally brewed stuff to chose from- keep the jobs and money here in Michigan! Also- when you walk in and you see patrons drinking industrial beers right from the bottle, you really lose that GastroPub vibe. At least pour it into a glass for them.

Cozy place with nice outdoor seating. There is a patio in the back with the bean bag toss game and tables out front too see the cars and people go by. Drinks are a bit pricey but delicious. There are daily drink, food and dessert specials which are usually delicious. The menu is full of a variety of tasty dishes, everything from burgers and sandwiches to mediteranian platters and fresh salads. The appetizers are delicious as well. They staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They also provide cards games at the tables which is great. It wonderful for lunch and their breakfasts are spectacular!!

Being less of a bar and more of a gastropub, The Bar consistently puts out excellent food and drinks. Ive yet to have a bad meal there. Plus, they have a wonderful brunch which is a perfect excuse to drink their Bloody Marys. :) My only criticism is Id like to see the menu change a bit more. If you are like me and tend to frequent a place quote often, the menu can get a bit old as its somewhat small. I highly recommend the fish tacos and the pulled pork nachos.

My husband and I have eaten here twice and had good experiences both times. The menu has plenty of classic items (burgers, etc) but also some unexpected and upscale items, like their really delicious fish tacos and Kahlua creme brulee (a special the second time we ate here). Well definitely eat here again.

Burger and service was great, was a slow evening , but french fries were cold and the latest one in the basket was slightly larger then my thumb nail. Guess they didnt want to make a fresh batch for the last customer of the evening..oh well, may try again.{May}

Very over priced. Food was ok. But nothing great. Fries could been cleaned better before cooking. Had dirt crunching when eating them. Charged extra to get tomatoes and lettuce and onion on a burger

Been here a few times, the fish tacos are amazing! Its a small menu, but everything has been very good! Service has been solid, drinks come quick and cant find anything to complain about!

This is a great place for food and drinks. Nice, simple menu with a few semi upscale options. One of the best burgers in Milford to be sure. Super clean, good service.

Great day help! One of the only few bars in Milford that charges tax on a beer. Milford needs a good cheap burger bar. The Bar is not that .... It sucks!
