Wasnt great, wasnt bad, wouldnt go there again. Service was a bit slow and clunky for the type of restaurant. This can be forgiven as The Barn is still a new place and I assume its staff is still settling on a good system. The manager did graciously comp a friends meal after they lost his order. The burger was also fairly expensive ($10.95) and doesnt include fries ($2 upcharge for what appeared to be frozen "food service truck" steak fries). If you dont add fries you get chips which are ok, but not great. Mine were also room temp, so they werent fresh The burger itself wasnt memorable. The meat didnt have a distinctive succulent flavor, nor was the burger particularly large for the price. Luckys Steakhouse and The Fenton Fire Hall both offer better options. They will have to step up their game if they want gain a following. There are plenty of options in the area that are cheaper, tastier, or both.

Great Food at an average Bar/ restaurant price. A bit more down to earth than some of the snobbery fare in the city of Fenton. Apples to oranges really. This is both a great place for dinner and family or a burger and a beer in front of the Game. Try doing that at the French Laundry. Its also located nicely right off of US 23 so you do not have to transverse the maze of city streets and ever changing speed limits in down town Fenton. I especially like that this is not another big chain corp. The lady who thought it was too expensive has obviously never been to Apple Bees, Baggerdaves , or Buffalo Wild-wings lately or just has no understating of the kind of overhead cost goes into serving Food to the public. She should try a little Irish place down on Owen road where you can get a burger for a dollar but be prepared they charge extra for fries as well.

Food was so-so, apparently if they rent out a section of the restaurant for a party they cant serve the rest of the restaurant the same food because some food on the menu is suddenly blacked out for non party patrons. Floors are sticky, place overall is kinda dirty we were seated at a table that was nasty and had to be wiped clean while we waited. The place seemed pretty laid back on service because we waited awhile everytime someone in our group needed a refill or to take our orders or the check. I had always been interested in seeing the place as I had heard good things, but I wouldnt have a desire to go back. There are much better sports bars with better prices and even though the waitresses appeared to be doing their best, either they were understaffed or not trained properly.

First time customers and the food was just okay. Nothing spectacular! What was more repulsive was the manager sitting at a table next to us meeting with his staff, taking phone calls from staff apparently not able to cash their check and the conversation had with multiple unprofessional employees! Not sure why this is allowed in front of customers who are eating in your establishment. Its a wonder why the girl who was interviewed didnt show up for work on Monday! What a waste of my saved calories for the day!

I dont understand the mixed reviews. My boyfriend and I came in yesterday (Friday) right around dinner time. Our waitress was probably one of the best servers we have ever encountered. Our food was delicious. The prices are completely reasonable. Especially considering they make just about everything in house. We didnt have a long wait for anything we ordered. We will absolutely be back. My only "dislkike" is the fact we havent been here before.

This a good place to eat and have fun with friends, but you got to do better with food. I was there last night watching the Lions game, bartender forgot my appetizer which I didnt care I was watching the game, then I ordered Hawaiian pizza ham was cold, pineapple was raw and the cheese was not melted so yeah not the best experience but Im sure you guys can do better. Ill come in for drinks and hopefully better food next time.

I went there tonight for dinner. All I could see to eat was a chicken breast sandwich, well, I was not going to pay $10.95 for a chicken breast sandwich! The waitress said they were very big. Well Im not into eating half of what Im paying for! I just walked out. If they think they can charge what the laundry charges for a sandwich, well, I wish them luck, theyll need it. Ill never step foot in there again. and yes I am local.

Okay... Everything on the menu is an up charge. That seems really strange to me. They charge extra for ground beef on tacos. Why not just make that standard? I understand some things cost more and warrant an extra cost, but ground beef on tacos? Just make the standard price a buck or two higher. Other than the weird pricing structure the good was alright. Nothing stellar but good for an average night out.

Took a friend to the Barn for lunch. It was her first time and my second. We both ordered macaroni and cheese and were very disappointed. It consisted of spiral noodles with Velveeta cheese and panko crumbs on top, for $7.99! Didnt even come with a side. Very overpriced! I was there once before and had the salmon and avocado sandwhich and that was delicious. Im not sure if I will go back.

Our first time visiting, and well worth the 20 mile drive. We ordered the Qeuso and chips to start which was very good. Our server ( I cant remember her name, but she was excellent) recommended the burgers. I ordered the mushroom swiss stuffed burger, and my wife had a 1/4 lb. made to order burger. Burgers are high quality beef on homemade buns. Overall an excellent experience!

I agree with Pauls review. We went today for lunch. I didnt care for the atmosphere much....too much black and room temp was cold. service was slow but the waiter was very nice. I liked my homemade chips and my burger was great...but I felt its "special sauce" was nothing special. I wont go back. I hope they improve because location is convenient for us.

We have been going there on Fridays for the last month. We have had Great service each time. The staff is friendly and helpful. The manager Jensen is remarkable. We have suggested improvements and praise. Each return visit was followed by unbelievable follow-ups, remembering previous experiences . We will be regulars Wishing the best for continuing success.

Very nice quality food. Prices are okay. Owner is very caring and will make things right if there are any issues. I got an appetizer that was not appealing to look at, but still tasted great. He gave us a better one without us complaining and tried to take it off of our bill entirely, though I ate the food and told them to keep it on anyway.

Havent had a problem. We sit at the bar normally drinks are good, draft beers are cold. My wife likes the key lime mojito, her favorite. The burger is fantastic. The flat bread pizzas are good. Not a big fan of the fish tacos but was spoiled living in Cali for awhile. Overall its a pretty cool place with nice atmosphere.

The WEAKEST drinks! I never drink more than two hard liquor drinks when I drive. I left with a "coffee high"! I honestly felt like the liquor was "cut" with water. Our waitress, KP, however, was fantastic! Shes the only reason I would ever come back. We headed back to The Fenton Hotel for a REAL drink!.
