I wish I can give this place 0 stars to be honest. 1: the service was not so great, she was very unfriendly, as if she didnt want to be there or be bothered by anyone and only one person in our party asked for a refill on pop one time. The pop was disgusting, all flat and tasteless and out of all the 6 adults in our group, they all said the same. pop was not so great. The food most of us got was pretty good except the plate we ordered for our 1 yr old. his fries tasted like they were sitting there for a day or 2 and then served to him.. we didnt let him eat any more after we tasted how crappy they were. Now on to the big reason I have issues with this place... This may sound bit silly to some and think I am griping over something small.. yes it is small but in the end its the principle of it and the whole thing is just wrong!. here is the story. We went to eat lunch there for my friends mothers birthday and my husband and I brought her a balloon with chocolate tied securely to the end of it. We left and got into the parking lot and realized the balloon was left so we went right back for it. Just minutes after leaving and going right back in they brought back the balloon but the chocolate was missing at the end of the balloon, they CLAIMED the bus person threw it away.. um yeah right.. so I went back out to the parking lot, got in the car and left feeling bit un easy about the situation because I thought it was a bit fishy that the chocolate would get tossed but not the balloon... why would someone un tie chocolate from a balloon and toss it? right after customers leave... mind you we were still in parking lot. So anyway I called the manager from outside because I am not one for making scenes or confrontation.. manager thought it was a whole laughing joke and was far from helpful although he didnt believe me until he checked his video.. turned out the chocolate was stolen and EATEN in that short of time by the waitress of our table. she claimed to the manager she thought it was a tip... it obviously was not left as a tip because it was tied to a happy birthday balloon which clearly did not belong to her! AND the fact that when we went back in for the balloon right after they LIED to us saying it was thrown away but the girls telling us that were very rude about it. NO sorry what so ever from the manager. This is not a good way to do business.. I dont care if it was a small thing they stole and lied about.. it is the principle of the matter and should not have been done!!! I will make sure to spread the word of this place.. they do not deserve business. ride employess.. rude manager. all together not a good way to do business.. the manager could have at least offered an apology but instead I was laughed at. I am not one to complain much but when someone steals something then lies about it that is just wrong no matter what it was. I can understand if we left for hrs and they ate it.. fine but we just left and went right back in for it.. should have still been attached to the balloon. I will not go some place and give them business when the manager there clearly does not care about his customers and where the employees are all so down and out and do not act like they want to be there and steal and lie.. no thanks!!!

This was our 1st visit there. We drove 2 hours to have lunch there an chose outside dining. It was very hot and sunny and we asked for a table under an umbrella. Although there were several tables with umbrellas unoccupied we were told none were ready and were seated in the hot sun. When our waitress came we asked if the table next to us with an umbrella was available. She said yes and that it was in her section and allowed us to move there. After ordering drinks and an appetizer a male older manager approached us and asked how we got that table. We told him that the girl sat us there. He challenged my statement and said "No, you asked for a table with an umbrella and was NOT given one". and that the tables with umbrellas were saved for others. When I said the waitress move us he left. I saw him confront the waitress with an attitude after. The waitress brought us our appetizer (nacho supreme that was very good) but failed to bring us plates or silverware. When she came back for our main order 15 minutes later we asked for plates and utensils and finally were able to eat the now cold appetizer. For the meal my wife ordered a chicken sandwich and i ordered a bacon cheese burger that was delivered without any bacon. It took apprx 45 minutes for the 2 sandwiches and my burger without the bacon was cold. I doubt we will return. I prefer better customer service and management without an attitude

This place has great food. However the service staff needs a few lessons in proper hygiene while in front of the public. As well as not discussing personal matters in public areas. While in the establishment I witnessed a very large pregnant server picking her wedge out of her bottom and not washing her hands. The same server was playing with her hair in the dining area and picking her ears while interacting with our table. On top of this she was rude and one of the worst servers I have ever had. We also over heard this same girl talking very negatively about her co-workers. As a women with class I do not wish to repeat the awful things we overheard. Unfortunately since this visit to your establishment I have had to explain a few adult words to my minor child. When My child was asked where such thing were heard the explanation was from the waitress at dinner last Saturday. I love Zukeys but will only be ordering take out from now on.

I typically dont write reviews but decided to after my last two experiences at Zuckey Lake. Both times I was with my family having dinner. The first experience was when I order the shrimp pasta special. They forgot the mushrooms which was part of the description. Shrimp - there were only three. We were there this past Saturday I decided to keep it simple and ordered a hamburger-medium rare with cheese/sautéed mushroom and onions. Pretty basic. It came out as well done and no onions. The waitress took it back and reordered. By the time the second burger was done my family was done eating. I cut into the burger and again it was well done. The waitress agreed and took it away. The waitress did know what to say. So needless to say I left without dinner. Need better cooks and management. Very disappointing from a restaurant that has been around for a long time.

I love Zukey! Been here frequently over the last 20+ years, and always receive great service. Its really busy on the weekends in the evening. The only time Ive had to wait a long time for orders, has been on occasion when its very busy! I like to come here on Wednesdays for their "Free T-Shirt with a Large Super Special or Large Specialty Pizza", because I love getting free tank tops! My favorite item on their menu is a tie between Salad Pizza & Chimichangas. You can dine in or out on the roof top deck, off of a limited menu & w. cash only. You can also come in by boat on the Chain Of Lakes, & hook up to their docks, just dont forget a shirt & shoes! Ive had some fun times here when they have had live music!
