I just recently moved to Loganville and was disappointed I was going to have to find a new hibachi place since we were no longer near our favorite place, Samurai Blue in Lawrenceville. I had been to Kyoto before and remembered having great food and great service...so I figured we could try this place again. We have been going to Kyoto now for a few months and each time the wait staff seem to be in the worst of moods. They are not friendly and almost seem annoyed when you order. Since there are not many other hibachi places in the area we continued to go back. Well, last night we went and had been sitting and waiting for 20-25mins on them to come out and start cooking the food. I understand they have to prep food and that takes time, however, there were just two of us at the table! As we are waiting, a huge family walks in with about 5-6 kids along with several adults. The owner/manager decided to seat them at our table! This meant we were now going to have to wait even longer for them to place their drink orders/figure out what each person/kid wanted to eat/bring out their soup-salad/prep ALL of the food/and then come cook it. I could not believe it! We had already finished our soup and salad and had been waiting forever and now were going to have to wait on this family. I understand they try to fit as many people at a table as possible, but when people have already been waiting, there are other open tables and a huge family walks in...you sit them at their own table! If it had been another couple or even three people it would have been different. The entire family did not even fit at our table. A few had to sit in the middle section! We decided that we did not want to wait another hour so we told the owner we were leaving and wanted to pay for the salad/soup we had eaten and our drinks. When we told him why we were leaving, we were informed that this family were regulars. Thats fine....from now on we will be making that 30min drive over to Samurai Blue in Lawrenceville where we were once "regulars"!

I will never go here again. It used to be a very good place to get a good meal. We had 12 people here on Sunday May 3rd and the service was horrible, the food was only half the amount that a person used to get and it had no flavor at all. Everything tasted the same. Not enough bacon and seasonings in the fried rice, not enough veggies and not enough of the steak, shrimp or any other fish or meat that was ordered. The waitress did not take instructions very well even though she was told at least three times and the cook kept forgetting about the two people sitting almost in the next section even though it was on the seating map that the waitress gave to him. One of our party did not get her main course until almost everyone else was almost finished eating. It was really bad and the Prices have been raised.

The Fiance and me liked it better than many of the Japanese Hibachi places we have hit through the years. Food was fresh and tastier than most, and the usual chop-chop show was better in that our chef participated with the crowd more than in other hibachi places Ive been to. Overall, a nice hibachi experience with better-than-the-average show. Food quality and taste was above most to me as well, and we each left with to-go containers of mostly the fried rice (they do give a LOT of rice), but I still cringe at the prices for these places as I really dont see much value in them; rice is cheap and I would prefer more quality meat for the money. Ill return with the near-to-be missis again despite what I feel remains a high price to value for hibachi chop-chop.

Used to be a great place to eat but I believe theyve changed owners. We came in to eat and they argued on where to sit us. Waiter seemed inexperienced brought our salad and soup all at once. Got everybodys order wrong with what type of rice we wanted. Cook was not the least bit entertaining . Didnt ask us how we wanted our steaks cooked until they were medium already. When people at table ran out of drinks the waiter was too busy sitting with his back to us and staring at his phone. The whole atmosphere was not as it once was and the staff didnt really seem to interested in providing good service. We will go to Monroe or the place at rosebud and 78 next time!

I thought since there are quite a few negative reviews I should put my positive opinion about the restaurant on here. It was my husband and Is first time going to Kyoto and everything was awesome. Our server was so sweet and very attentive. The cook was very friendly and made the visit delightful. Everyone at our table was happy with the delicious food and friendly staff. We will definitely be back!! :-)

Beware when you order the hibachi! The fried rice costs $2.50 extra and our server brought it to us even though neither of us ordered it (which we told them) and I didnt even touch mine while my mum barely touched hers but they still charged us for it! Cant substitute miso soup with the meal either. Will say you get a lot of food for the price but overall not impressed and wont be going back!

Im sad that I had to even give this place a one star rating. Had I been given the option to rate with negative stars , I would have. The way I was treated today was beyond unprofessional and was downright inhumane. I have no idea how this owner has managed to keep this business afloat given the TERRIBLE customer service I received today.

This is our go to for Japanese hibachi. We have frequented this restaurant at least twice a month for the last 5 years. We have our company holiday dinners here too. 98% of the time, food and service is spot on.

This place is amazing. David is the coolest guy ever hes the one that makes the sushi. Tried countless restaurants and this is by far the best. Customer service is also nop notch. Best ginger salad.

Great food, prices are average Hibachi prices... Wait service could be better but the food makes up for it big time. Cooks at Hibachi grill are funny and entertaining.

Great food; great prices. Fast and friendly service. Environment was calm and enjoyable (no screaming offspring), and the sushi was excellent. Definitely coming back.

The STAFF is very rude especially the guy that walks around with the white tshirt and spiked hair. They never get your food right and need more and better staff

I would give this place no stars. As soon as me and my son sat down I had a baby roach crawling across my plate. We immediately walked back out. Disgusting.

Only been here once. It seemed like a nice little place. Nothing fancy or special about the restaurant. Food was ok. Good service.
